I don't know how much support the EDL genuinely has from the Jewish community but if they do support them it's a bit foolish as it's not that long ago that Jews were being blamed for the deaths of tens of millions of Europeans in world wars and Judeo-Bolshevik takeovers. In comparison to which Islamic extremism is child's play.

On Oct. 16, 1948, 50,000 Jewish communists turned out in Moscow's Red Square to welcome the first Israeli delegation to Moscow. Stalin supported Zionism's 1947 Palestine partition plan, gave crucial recognition to the newly-created state of Israel and voted for Israel's admission to the United Nations.

Slovo was born in a shtetl in Lithuania and grew up speaking Yiddish and studying the Talmud. He joined the ANC's terrorist wing, the Umkhonto we Sizwe, in 1961 and eventually became its commander.
