Default All for One and One for All

"We are one" and "everything is connected" is something we hear a great deal about, but how can this be quantized?

I wonder if this picture show's how individual Minds could remain exclusive to each person and yet remain connected to everything else...

If you think of the plasma ball as the source of consciousness then each strand of consciousness and it's focus point is what we experience as individual awareness, at the same time each strand is connected to the source but can interfere or become entangled with others.

Each individual strand is not a separate entity, this is the illusion, each individual strand is an extension of the source.

the plasma ball is a good example of our brain. When you get further with meditation you can actually feel electromagnetic pulses throughout your self.
I see the plasma ball as us branching out and expanding our belief systems to a new experience both inner and outer.

Yeah I like the idea of a plasma ball as a brain. I'd love to be able to do meditation but when you have two young children hanging off your ankles it's difficult to find a quiet moment.

I was just trying to get my head around this idea of "one-ness" or "inter-connectedness" that we here so much about within the context of individual phenomenon.

The Beatles said it best:

I am you and you are me and we are all together.

This might explain why we have an affinity with other peoples ideas that manifest through mediums such as books and films. The ideas are actually coming from ONE source.

I can't think of any other way of explaining this interconnectedness that I hear so much about. So when I think of ONE-ness I now look at it in the only way I can see that it's feasible, which is, we are ONE "thing" expressing itself in a multitude of ways.

If you think about it, when you strip everything away, height, colour of eyes, personality, memories, skin colour etc we each have the same thing at our core - "consciousness"
