Default How do you prioritize your morals?

Let's say that you really want to be a certain way or do a certain thing but your loved ones do not approve of it. Do you go against their wishes, or do you just try to keep the peace, whatever it means? How do your morals relate to this? Are morals necessary? Is action driven by empathy necessary? etc..

I have my "morals" or choices about my behavior. they have nothing to do with anyone else. They are about who I am. No one else can change that. People who truly love you do not judge your actions unless they are considered evil.
If that is the case then you have to decide if you feel what you are about to do is "evil" (or service to self). IF what are chosing to do harms someone else then it is wrong. But to allow others to harm you by interfering with your choices when they are NOT harming anyone is wrong on their part.
You must BE who you are.. those who love you will continue to do so.

Rather than 'morales' and putting labels as what is deemed well or not, try adopting Personal Policies.

The first one I abide by is No Lying. I hate liars, can't stand frauds, so I choose to not spread that energy myself.

Second is when I meet someone new, I remember 'Namaste', which helps to deflect any potential negative energy the new person is carrying.

Third policy is patience. Try and enjoy the moment, rather than hope the next one come too quick.

The energy of this age is very strange, and people have forgotten two important things - -

Words have power. Thoughts are things.
