I don't think I can recall a single post I've directly disagreed with from you BT, but to sort of play devil's advocate or whatever, it can make 'the game' so much easier overall if one can trump them with their own home-rules (the Acts etc.)

is this act not stating that:
A has sent a BOE to B
A has signed the BOE
B has to pay the amount on the BOE
This amount has to be paid by B to A or to C (bearer)

Thats how I read this Act.

Perhaps we should start a new thread, titled 'What is a BOE?' and let this one get back on track?

I think you may find that I only cut and pasted in post 39. The simple reason was because I was specifically asked where a particular reference was in a certain Act, so I pointed it out. If there is a better way, perhaps you would be kind enough to enlighten me?
I assume from the tone of your post that you are implying that I know nothing of which I speak. That's fine. It would also appear that by you referring to "cut and paste" in the way that you did was a means of attempting to destroy any credibility that I may have and an attack on my intelligence. I can live with that. After all, a sarcastic remark such as your post quoted above is of course a much easier way of winning an argument. However, I would point out that if cut and paste ceased to be employed by posters on this site, I should imagine the site would collapse due to the lack of posters because it would appear that most of the information provided on this site is not original, but copied from elsewhere..
It matters nothing to me, if you doubt my knowledge of a Bill of Exchange. However, my fear is for people who follow unproven advice that is ill informed and end up in more trouble than they started with.
But, as it's not my neck on the line, I'm not the one with the PCN, perhaps it would be best for the OP to follow the advice of yourself in fighting this PCN and not mine, and see if they succeed or it ends up costing them more. I await their result with anticipation.

Since when is acceptance fighting?...you fight your in dishonor...accept (conditionally) your in honor.....oh and don't take things personally, I'll apologise outright if my post came off sarcastic...it's a character trait I'm trying to curb.
I don't know it all...never will, but love to learn.

Peace

OK so to try and clear this up lets go to the new thread "What is a bill of exchange?" and leave this thread in piece!

glad to see you starting. the best thing about this is they know that with every new notice being served there's a new man starting out on the journey, and that must piss them off the most.
