Sadly I don't think there's anything we can say to H4E to get her to see "the wood for the trees". Better just to leave her to God. Well done for trying, though peeps - it's such a shame she can't recognise when people are just trying to be kind.

she believes what she wants to believe. she uses her belief to validate her own sense of victimhood...she is her own god...and what a goodly god she makes.

Oh lawks - I know I should have stayed well out of that thread, lol! I didn't post my story for sympathy, but H4E didn't even refer to it in her reply to my post - just used it to launch into another attack! And it's struck me - she didn't post all those stories of people abused by the church because she feels sorry for them and wants to raise awareness of their plight, she's just using these poor people's stories to further her own agenda. (Hope that doesn't sound too judgemental on my part!) There's no debating with her at all.

Bwahahaha not only is H4E spiritually oppressed - and I do pray for her release - but she seriously has a screw loose. I saw her latest thread last night; couldn't see her posts unless other people quoted them, but I could figure the gist out.

AA - you could perhaps write out Scripture verses that you like and keep them to hand, or maybe put them on the wall, or by the mirror wherever you're staying?
