I don't think charlesb is exactly furthering the cause of Christianity - in the "equality for women" thread he's saying that there's no such thing as rape within marriage and that a woman who suffers it has no right to seek justice. In fact women who do should apparently be excommunicated! He's really giving the antis all the ammo they need.

I saw that mandy, but I'm not going to start an argument with him about that...at least not in public, because that would be turned around on christianity for sure. If you feel led to do so, I might send a PM.

Thanks, logos - I did reply to one of his posts, but I didn't want to be seen to be arguing with him - as you say, it would have been turned around on Christianity in general and the "antis" would probably love to see two Christians arguing together! I'll think about it - gotta get supper now my OH is home!

Well, I've made my first thread in the religious section- never thought that'd happen ever. I wanted to hear others concepts on God in an open honest manner no matter what their stance. Pleasantly surprising too. Fingers crossed.
