I just listened to this clip by adyashanti, and I wanted to share it as it is what I find most challenging about spiritual Truth. I want to hear what you guys think :)

But knowing it as a belief is different than realizing it, my signature shattered my BELIEF in oneness as I tried to interpet it that was given to me by Icke.

What I find challenging is what he says about not hating politicians for example, hard one :p And frightning, might get doubts and worries about being brainwashed.

yea, I thought alot about this lately (to the point that all the conspiracy stuff became irrelevant). I've seen some people claim that the filosophy of not hating politicians is just a propaganda to eliminate our defense mechanisms so that they could easily carry on with their plans, while we, fools, think it's an illusion and it doesn't matter. These people are just a sequel of ''survival of the fittest'' program that dominates today (tough from my subjective, egoistic point of view is losing dominance, slowly) that is ultimately flawed, expression of separation. What's the point of becoming the tyrant of the universe, you'll still fear and feel threatened, at the same time separated. Will you ever feel content, no, but the person who bypasses its ego and feels one with others will. I know cause I feel that way most of the time that way, I remember the fear and hate, it was horrible. I know that politicians or anyone else in similar state of mind will realise, they just don't know, I can't blame them and judge them for that.

About your sig, if there's unity then there will also be duality, but duality and all other infinite divisions are imperfect, so tendency to unity seems the right path

Excellent post!! :) I agree completely with you, had the exact same thoughts.

The sig thing, unity - duality, perfect - imperfect, right - wrong, how can this be One? That's what he meant in my signature, there is only the isness that is. It's really quite funny how we think sometimes "Oh there is oneness, but that excludes me because I'm in my ego, so there is oneness then there is me", but I'm still in my ego :rolleyes: Head spinning... And if we try to figure it out, we'll ponder and ponder and ponder till we go completely mad (out of our minds) which is a good thing :) The truth is so simple it can't be figured out and can't be spoken which is also a good thing because it means we can't mess with the Truth :)

Oh, I hope I didn't kill the thread now with my talk :o
