For the last year I have embarked on an interesting project. I have decided to invite every evil spirit to show themselves in my London pad. I sleep under a beautiful hand carved upside down cross. I invite any beings to possess my body for their enjoyment. I smoke pot. I listen to AC/DC everyday, backwards even. Ouija boards for Sunday evening fun. And God Damn it! Nothing happens! If demonic possession existed, believe you me, I would be a number one target. I even wear a cute little upside down cross necklace everyday. Nothing bad ever happens to me! Why? Because "that" kind of evil does not exist. I'm sure some of you religious types will say my time will come, but when? I will not finish this post with anything as obvious as evil exists only in man, but.........

Yeah I think that in order to attract evil spirits (or anything for that matter) you would have to motivate them to enter you from a vibrational stand point. You would have to link up with them "vibe wise". So you would have to send out an evil vibe that an evil spirit would be attracted to. Think about what an evil spirit would want. They would probably want to observe humans experiancing harm, pain and fear or other negative vibes. Astrally projecting the ability to do these things would naturally attract the type of beings who wish for it. Just send out thoughts into the energy field. Like if you send out a thought saying, "I'm causing stress, agony, and frustration in others and they hate me for it"...an evil spirit would be interested in that and might want to tag along with you. But they can tell if you're faking because energy can't lie. It's sort of like that saying from Field Of Dreams.."If you build it, they will come."

It depends on how full you are, some people have room for entities, though I'm not into that as nothing can possess you that you don't want consciously or subconsciously. A possession may be a wandering soul from another reality, if you sense evil then it may be because you don't have access to the full range of a hyper dimensional entity and what you don't understand you may interpret as fear. The thing is, you are already in their kingdom and are no threat or challenge to them, IE you are useless to them as you unknowingly and unwittingly belong to them already, so why woud they waste there time revealing themselves to you?.

Try genuinely seeking and asking the living God to reveal himself to you and reveal truth to you for a year and I guarantee you will see some spritual warfare in action, perhaps nothing as dramtaic as demonic manifestation, however you will see in the clear light of day the spirtual warfare that is taking place for your eternal soul. I see that this is an old thread, but I can't help commenting on what I've read to clarify a "clarification" for any that scroll through these posts in the future.

Lordzoma makes the claim that all crosses "are access points for negative astral beings to enter through." I assume by negative you mean discordant, fear-based/evil. Where did you get this information? Who is disseminating such rubbish?

A cross is an ancient and universal symbol of [I]spiritual Truth[I]! When drawn within a square to dissect it into four equal parts, it is the Mayan Symbol of Being illustrating the four parts of being that the Intellect--the "I AM" (the fifth part of being forming a pyramid) finds expression. So much is contained in this one symbol illustrating (in part) the structure of reality, being, consciousness. I use the cross as a visualization tool to center and still my mind successfully all the time.

As far as the original post goes, has anyone read Michael Newton's Destiny of Souls? How are people reconciling his case studies which claim that possession and demonic activity are solely a preoccupation with the incarnate souls here on this planet with all the "evidence" to the contrary? I personally have seen the so-called "shadow people" when I was in a certain state of mind in certain places. My martial arts teacher calls them "little Gremlins" because he and other black-belts have seen them under certain circumstances. I knew another guy that was completely sober and straight-laced who was born with the capacity to see them naturally all over the place. I know these entities aren't considered that malicious, so their presence doesn't really contradict what Newton claims, but that is just my own experience. There are plenty of stories that do contradict him. Two of my best friends dabbled in witchcraft for a minute, and were so scared by what began happening to them, that they went out into the desert, burned all the books they were using them, and buried the remains invoking circles of protection and what not. What do people have to say? I believe in any case that all the power still lies with us individuals. Fear has no reality of its own--no power of its own, but it could certainly usurp power from others still tied into the Source as the Lizzies are known to do.

Although one man may have inverted his cross out of Dogmatic reverance of Christ, it does nothing to diminish the power of inverting the symbol.

True, if the said object was emanating negative energy this would be a good way to disperse it, into the ground. I too have felt a lot of negativity when around this symbol, and have often wondered about religion beliefs and practices. I have studied a lot of these things, estoric and occult in nature, and even high magick ritualistic spells for conjuring up demons are laced with Christian symbolism and calls to Jesus for protection, as if a Christian scribe actually wrote the thing in the first place. In my considered opinion, a Demon, (daemon, daimon, a subordinate deity, as the genius of a place or a person's attendant spirit....from the Greek)
