Hi Mike,
I could really use your advise on food cravings. I have a problem with resisting temptation and tend to go for the sweets. If I don't have it I keep thinking I must have and I think I trick myself into thinking I am hungry then too cause I do end up feeling hungry after a while and end up going for the junk... any advise? o and my sister has ulcerative colitis any natural alternatives she can take besides the prednizone and all that? just think it would be better for her in the long run... thanks I will really appreciate the advice

Food cravings are a problem alright. You might like to start using a good quality GTF (Glucose Tolerance Factor). If you contact the Shen on 01983 617333 we will sort a good one out for you. Do you have times of the day when your energy really drops? If so, when?
Your sister should try a good quality Aloe Vera (whole inner leaf) and good quality fish oil, and Marshmallow and Slippery Elm. Again contact the Shen regarding advice on products if you wish. Quality is so important when it comes to being effective.

Marshmallow is a herb that is associated with healing ulcers, and we use it, a lot. The tiredness is probably hypoglycemia and associated with Insulin handling problems (blood sugars). A blood glucose test might be worth considering. Meanwhile consider using GTF.
If you do consider a blood test would you send me a copy of the results please, particularly if you are told it is borderline. Mike

These herbs are fine with medications.
