I used to, but I still get the Daily Mail. It's still a good read.
I feel the media, esp in the UK is forcing down on people's thought how to think, what is in and who is a celebrity.
But as I am a former sheeple, I became more aware of my thought due to David Icke and Micheal Moore. According to Moore, people should read Forbes, ewatch Baywatch and scutrize the national rags to KNOW what the enemy is thinking. that was in his first book.
Did you know that the national newspapers know so much dynamite about the truth, that they cannot tell the public.

No, sometimes read the local News paper, it's more relevant to my life and immediate circumstances. But I can still read it on line, though you don't get the full paper and all the stories, which is dumb. What I don't like about papers is the smell of the ink and the fact it stains you're fingers.

Can search on line if I need extra news, then there's msn and yahoo if I'm really bored.

What i don't like about news papers is the smell of the news! and they cut down trees tu feed the masses this shit. yu know something! the only good thing about most news papers is that they come in handy for putting in yer rabbit cage in winter tu keep poor bunny warm.:D

On a rare occasion I will buy the Sun to see what I am supposed to think. LOL
And occasionally I see the Daily Record turn up at our meetings and will have a glance but generally no, I dont buy newspapers and dont watch tv.

I do read newspapers online though and may read 2 or 3 newspapers take on one story.

I never buy newspapers. i read the Metro (a free newspaper given away on the bus and train). It's a better read than the rest and you can read stuff in that that are not in the other papers eg. there was a small article about a bloke who found out that he was given AIDS as an experiment to see how quickly it would be spread in Britain

I agree the Metro paper is alternative when it comes to newspapers. The letters page is particularly good. Whoever selects the letters isnt afraid to choose anti government, non conformist viewpoints, which is very refreshing. I wrote a little letter a couple of weeks ago about the U.S. student tazer incident and they published it! Ive written a new letter about the hypocrisy of Brown referring to human rights in Burma whilst the rights of the Iraqis are ignored. Im hoping it gets published this week. Writing letters to open minded papers is definately one way we can get the message to more people. Small steps, but they all lead in the right direction.

Very true about those small steps, it's one giant leap for mankind :D I will look out for your letter in the Metro (if I can get hold of it).

This is the only page I read of any paper.
Been touting its goodness for a few years now.

I got my third letter posted in the metro this week, this time supporting the decriminalisation of Lsd. And it was printed! Woop woop.

Any newspaper is a positive resource, provided you keep your mind open, and use the stories in it as a launchpad, not a Quran.

I only read newspapers at work or at other people's houses when they've finished with them. You could call it hand-me-down propaganda!:D

You also get letters where you think, "oh my god you are repeating EVERYTHING you heard on Sky News" - some really dumb conformist fools out there that's for sure.

I only get whatever is left on the train for me, almost daily there is a metro up for grabs, occasionally a Sun but very very rarely there is the independant. (which isn't really independant now is it?) But it is a much better read and more hard-hitting than all the other bullshit.

I never buy or read newspapers at all. I did buy a couple of editions of Sunday Life, an Ulster weekly, though that was only cause I didnt have the net. The Daily Mail Online I think is a good read, though I dont read it all the time. I think they've made a fool of themselves in trying to predict that there was gonna be a snap general election which as we all know was never gonna happen. Another thing I hate about the Press is their reporting on the alleged dangers of mobile phones! This I find totally amazing because if you go to the back pages you'll find a plethora of Ringtone Ads & other tedious phone offers. Sadly, this world is full of BRAINWASHED FOOLS who will buy into it.

Anyone here noticed how the Metro newspaper has gone full circle and is now one of the absolutely terrible newspapers and is used to push the agenda ? Funny that isnt it, how they get us to "believe" in a product and then change into a totally different product without most of us even realising, they just need to keep the branding logo on the front of the product and no-one is any the wiser. That is why Branding/Advertising is so important to them. It's a way of decieving us. Eg. Muller yoghurts (I think it was Muller anyway but they are all up to these tricks) anyway Muller were very natural to start with and got a good name, and then without us realising it they added Asparatame but no-one bothers checking the ingredients because they TRUST Muller cos of the branding.

we rarely buy mail on sunday but tend to get news from different websites.

I tend to agree with David Icke that we are a nation of repeaters in that we all often repeat some re-quoted news item...

At the same time we do not address the real issues - eg we do not question authority.. we just accept it and bow to it...

Yeah .. I was shocked recently when trying to buy any make of sugar free lemonade at Tescos to find they all had Aspartame in them...

In the end we gave up and made our own cloudy lemonade from our own home grown lemons...

Of topic I know, but home made lemonade is so easy and so much nicer than the shop bought cack.

I used to buy The Independent on the way to work...now I read books. I try to minmise my possible influence by the mm as much as possible. The worse propaganda are those free papers.

No so long ago I used to wonder why a newspaper would be called The Sun and also The Star. But now it's so obvious. The press is run by the Illuminati and the sun and the star are symbolic to them.

Do you know of any other newspapers with odd names that are obviously connected to the Illuminati ? Some newspapers also use logos that are symbolic, such as the Daily Express. Is that a templar knight in the middle at the top ? :-
