View Full Version : Health is a matter of belief

Someone said: whether you believe it or you don't, you're right. If you have the belief for example that your teeth will rot and get cavities, then they will. But you don't have to hold on to such a sorrowful belief. You can, but you needn't to. Instead you can replace it with a belief that your teeth will easily remain healthy and even heal cavities themselves as a natural immune system response. :D

Actually, biology scientist Bruce Lipton says that aging is a belief.
Also, when they cloned the sheep Dolly, it was an old cell that was cloned by first putting the cell in a solution of chemicals that made the cell revert back into a younger state - reverse aging.
But a belief is not a small thing. It's a conditioning that has billions of years of inheritance behind it. And conscious beliefs are just the tip of the iceberg. Below the surface is the massive subconscious part of the belief. So positive thinking for example will not get far. It's probably utterly impossible to use merely positive thinking to change a belief.
The "fact" that tooth decay will happen has been thoroughly drilled in to the mind of every person for thousands of years, and probably millions of years of biological conditioning before that. So tooth decay happens, because the mindset is such as it makes it possible to happen. What is needed to change such deep-rooted belief is that people begin to think for themselves, such as:

Hmm...You really did'nt address my comment, so do I take that as a YES??
That you believe that your body WILL NOT die??

To not be able to die is a bit scary thought. It's like not being able to sleep. But I would like to have a young and healthy body for a long time and then die gracefully as hell......gracefully as heaven, I mean. :D
Maybe belief in death is the real cause of aging. In animals this belief is hardwired. In humans too. Humanity will probably evolve into less and less animal form, in............5 years, since evolution is exponential and the year 2012 marks the transition between humans as half-animals and humans as humans. lol

Hi Everyone
Here is a great free radio program www.hayhouseradio.com if you look under the carol ritberger archives she has some fascinating information on how the mind, emotions, spiritual, mental things affect your physical health, and how you can reverse or heal yourself.
I also like very much the work of Louise L Hay, and there are some great books about mental attitudes, healing for your physical body by authors such as Debbie Shapiro & Dr Christine Page.

Hi Anders! A fascinating topic, and I happen to agree with the sentiments above. I have proven the seemingly 'impossible' is more than possible by using what I call corrective thought to change a health outcome.
You mention teeth? I have always thought it odd how if we lose our adult teeth we cannot grown new ones to replace them as sharks do. Why not? This ability must have somehow been programmed out of our DNA, so I decided to see if I could program it back in again.
I had a molar with a terrible abscess in it and I knew it was going to have to come out as the infection was not clearing up. Root canal's are not ideal for health reasons I wont go into here, so I decided to focus my energy onto growing a new tooth to replace the one I was going to have to have removed. When I finally got driven back to the dentist for further treatment, he decided to take another set of x-rays before proceeding, and low and behold, within the 6 months between x-rays, a new tooth had formed in the gum beneath the abcessed tooth! The dentist was dumbfounded as there was no sign of a tooth there on my previous x-ray. However, between appointments, my abscess cleared up, so I have not as yet had to have the old tooth removed, but its great to know I have another tooth there if the old one needs to go. The dentist assured me it was a fully formed tooth that would raise up out of the gum and fill the void left behind by the removed tooth.....he also said it may at some stage begin pushing my old tooth out of the gum in the same way baby teeth are replaced during childhood!
I do believe humans have the abilty to change the nature of their 'health' reality using quantum physics to manifest whatever reality we choose. Not easy, but if my own account is anything to go by, it would appear do-able at least.

That's fascinating.
Can you tell us how exactly you programmed positive thoughts into your psyche?
Did you repeat a certain sentance to yourself every morning when you woke up for example?
I am curious. :)
