Tap Water

I enjoy drinking water and drink quite a lot a day, but about 80% of my daily water intake is from the tap.

I've heard such chemicals etc make this a bad choice? I've searched the forums but didn't find anything useful.

My question is, if it is bad, what would be the best way to "clean" it or get decent water without buying it all, that would be expensive :p

I bought a Berkey water filter (SS model) from The Green Shop (UK). The difference in quality is well worth it.

yeh i drink a lot of tap water - well thats all i drink! :(
whats actually in it thats bad for you? I know its bad for you but what specifically is in it and whats the effects? any infomation would be helpful. thanks :)

theres stuff like chlorine in it, fluoride often, bits of heavy metals and all sorts of yucky impurities, I taste a very big difference in the water after it's filtered - it's much more clear, better get a filter jug.
