I would like to see a world without religion. I choose to follow no faith.
people couldn't disagree about religion if there was none.

You could be right about that. The trouble as I see it though seems to be we can disagree about everything else as well!

Yes, pollock. that's probably correct. As long as we remain in the matrix, they have us all very effectively pitted against each other.

I've said for years that I don't know any two people who agree on everything, and usually not even completely on any one subject. The more mature among us can agree to get along anyway, but that leaves the vast majority to continue fighting wars (especially "holy" wars), etc., which is just how the matrix wants it.

I like the theory behind the concept that if you got rid of religion that wars would never be, or would we just find something else to fight about besides religion?
Would tolerance and acceptance of others beliefs, also lead to a more unified world? or would this still lead to a division?
I like the following saying in regards to this.
"There are many paths to enlightenment" I think it was Buddha who said that but correct me if I got it wrong ;)
I try my best to be a pragmatist (to each their own) and not follow blindly any strict dogmatic teachings, but is it really up to me to judge someone else if they do?
Just questions that entered my head whilst reading this thread.

rigid and intolerant people are enlightened in this respect: by their example in word and deed, they say, "stay away from me!" :)

Neon xx Yes I started a thread based on this belief i heard it from Buddhism too lol it went..... "All paths lead the same way home" meaning What ever religon you are in this physical lifetime, in the end when you die we all go back to spirit (home)

I have researched lot's of differen't religions over the years, I like the love aspect and peacefull side, but the anger and wrath of the gods is the down side. it's just not for me to follow a faith, i have no problem with anyone else following a faith if it's all for love and peace and they respect others faith.

Doesn't the same thing happen to those who haven't followed a religion?

I know a little about Buddhism, but I thought it was about trying not to have to reincarnate, at least not on this plane or dimension. It would certainly not work towards that endeavor to be of just 'any' religion in the meantime, imo. It seems the right choice (or choosing not to be of a religion) is everything.

 Honestly i can see how you people are any different to those you claim to oppose as you are atheists that believe you are all simply your own Gods well so does satan and satanists or Lizards if you prefer.
None of you have any foundation for your ANTI stances against your so called Matrix. So divided you stand & divided you fall!.

Let me guess.... an Organic Portal amongst us? It never ceases to astonish me that people who don't like David Icke, his work or his followers, would actually join his message board. To do so, one must have a certain agenda, especially if one is in an "attack" mode, such as this person is coming across with.

Good article here to describe this: http://www.cassiopaea.org/cass/organic_portals.htm - one especially 'telling' excerpt:

.......they (Organic Portals) have but one reason to be here: to drain, distract and deflect souled beings from evolving.

The site also has an interesting disclaimer about Montalk.net at the top of the article, with regard to Montalk's articles on OPs.

And on what do you base this opinion please?

LOL!

I think we would be better off without that pesky Jehovah and his adherents telling us how bad we are and how we need to be saved. No, thank you, I'll just evolve please. I don't want to be placed in the fridge and "saved" for later!

Also, instead of making general, sweeping, accusatory statements, it might be a good idea to learn what it is Icke teaches and what we each individually understand.

Icke teaches that we are Consciousness, which is All Possibility. That means no one is separate; there is no individual "I" separate from "You". All Possibility means vibrating as God or Satan or anywhere in between.

Good for "Satan" if such an illusory entity (as all "entities" are illusory) believes it is God; that way it can vibrate back to that position from whence it came in the first place.

I guess that's all you came here to do (disturb)? That's how it appeared right away, so you seem like a handler. What's your point in being here?

BTW, you're speaking to a woman on this one.

BTW, you're speaking to a woman on this one.

As so often on this Forum:) , there is an "are you male or are you female" thread check it out, maybe then you can adress people correctly, or choose a neutral way of talking to people maybe, all this sir and man and stuff whats it good for?

Wouldn't that mean everyone would have to consult that list before responding?

I think since most names here are 'generic', it might do well to just speak to each other that way. After all, Consciousness has no gender, and even those coming from a more religious aspect usually understand that Spirit and Soul don't, either.

Also, I've found on other forums, that even people who choose what to most others sounds like a "female" username (unless it's totally overt as in "Lady" something or other, or they use their own real female name), they still get referred to as "man" or "brother".

I believe all religions are the same, using different ways to describe it all. Basicly the same anyway.

The only problem I got with religion is when one religion is considered to have be more true than some other religion, and then using that belief to say you believe your religion to have more right to exist than any other religion.

Yes, this even applies to negative religions. If the religion is false then it will fade out. Giving it focus, at least the wrong way, but sometimes in any way, might help the religion rooting itself even more.
