I've always been curious about the Statue of Liberty and Freemasons.

The independence day was the celebration of official commencement of Freemasons in the united states. After 100 years France gave a gift to the America. I heard that the origin of York division of Freemasons is rooted from France. So the Statue of Liberty was a gift of Freemasons from France?

Not sure about the York Rite coming out of France, but that's the gist of it.. Also worth noting that the figure is likely that of Queen Semiramis, aka Isis/Mary/Europa/etc..
