I cant describe just how disturbing I find that statistic. How can anyone justify that fucking many of them in just one small country.

Why do we allow ourselves to be subjected to such degrading treatment?

Omg, don't get me started. Yesterday, I had to do a journey along the M6 and the amount of speed cameras and CCTV was RIDICULOUS. Wtf? Every mile or less, along a certain stretch, there were these huge yellow poles with two cameras on each one, with two flash bulbs either side of each camera, like bloody garden floodlights - and in between them, the regular cameras on the bridges, and poles on the embankments. It's incredibly offputting when driving, actually. I am a human being, not a government asset, and I object to being monitored all the time. And when those yellow cameras are activated, I anticipate more crashes because people will likely be temporarily blinded by the flashes.

People in the UK need to make transmitters which can disable/make visual audio interference. Just need to do some experimenting and find out which frequency the cameras operate at and you can have a whole lot of fun pissing off the sheep watching the video feeds. They might send some morons to try and fix the cameras because they have no idea whats causing it. might not be so simple for some of the more sophisticated cameras some may have protection from electromagnetic frequency pulses. in fact some areas would be just dumb to do because theres so many damned cameras and police lol.

Well.. what I find most frightening is those cctv monitors they now have on public transport.

There is no getting away from it all. It is frightening.

They have monitors at the front of the buses, which receive cctv live footage of the passengers projected onto the big screen for all to see.

It is disgusting. Talk about having absolutely no privacy whatsoever.

So, you are basically screwed if you don't have your own form of transport.

Until of course people have no other choice but to use public transport, when they can no longer afford to run a car etc.. with all of the environmental taxes etc.. they are now being forced to pay.

That's the idea of course. They can justify anything in the name of protecting the environment.

I agree, it's getting way out of hand now & will probably get worse still:mad: We're almost watched wherever we go now & it's become the norm here. BB is watching!:mad:

What I find shocking is the amount of people who still believe that these cameras are here for our safety & protection & don't feel they're intrusive at all!:eek:

The speed cameras have become a very profitable money making scam that's being exploited to the max!
