MAdGE - Mothers Against Genetic Engineering
Who are Madge?
We are a network of people concerned about the health and environmental effects of GE food. Many of us are mothers but you don't have to be one to join us.
What do we want to achieve?
MAdGE would like our State Parliamentarians to:
Continue the ban on growing GE canola for 5 years until 2013
Monitor and enforce labelling of all GE foods
Provide full independent scientific testing on GE crops and foods
Time is running out. The Victorian Government are due to announce their decision on whether to continue the moratorium on GE Canola in Victoria in early November.
Please write now to your state politicians to protect your food from GE!
