This may not be anything new for people her but the show seems to be a very good introduction for people new to shady government ops into how the CIA has been responsible for putting into power some of the worst governments/tyrants in the last 60 years or so (promoting Pol Pot for example).

anyone else see it?

yes i saw a bit of this last night.i did see the bit about assasinating che guevera and the heroin smuggling from laos into vietnam.it was an amazing figure that they had more army personnel in vietnam addicted to heroin than in the usa at the time.it was a good program but i missed most of it.
anything else interesting on there? im sure they missed the worst stuff of there like 9/11.:eek::rolleyes:

In these programs they tend to present what the CIA has done in the past and they tend to only show the soft stuff, for example the waterboarding in the press lately. As if they havent been doing far worse stuff than that.

Whats worse is that i mentioned CIA to someone...i begun a rant about them and he said! ''You idiot, they are not real! No such thing as CIA''..the government would never do that!

He's 28 and actually intelligent in other things, just massively dim also and uninformed with such things...

I'm also surprised how agencies like the NSA etc are unknown to most! I think public only know James bond and MI5 U.k.

Lets hope it seeds in people even if it's designed to be the opposite. Tipping the scales of awareness is the first step.

Exactly, and that's why it made it onto the mainstream media.
