Has anyone read this book, Fractal Time : The Secret of 2012 and a New World Age and can you give a brief synopsis of it?

Does it have to do with time speeding up, patterns of time etc?

The book is as the title implies about the fractal nature of time. Gregg draws heavily from Terence McKenna's ideas on Novelty Theory and throughout the book gives accounts and examples of cyclical events that repeat in our lives. Overall I found the book on the OK side, but prefer Gregg's earlier books.

The full audio book is available on Youtube as a playlist:

(that will set you back the best part of a day if you listen to it all in one go).
