I made a little video for all the wonderful people on this forum
who mean so much to me. Its just a wee token of my appreciation
for you, and I really loved putting it together. Its not perfect, but
what perfection anyway?
Being that I am pretty techno-hopeless, I am fortunate to have
had some great help with this. Thanks guys.....I couldn't have
done it without you....man this stuff is trickier than I thought
Some of you will see some of your own brilliance in this video, and I
would like to thankyou for sharing it with us.....oh and
Auron, I put a little 'something' in it especially for you ;)
http://video.google.com.au/videoplay?docid=-8297932925219530415&hl=en-AU is my gift.......please push pause till its fully loaded or you will experience stop/start business....
takes about 4-5 minutes to fully load.
EDIT: Now on you tube and its a better quality

I'm so glad you guys like it.....phew, I admit to being a bit
nervous putting this out there. Thanks for your feedback :p
But I loved doing it, and since Adam (reptilianshapshifter) has
allowed me the use of another of his tracks (man does
he make a beautiful sounds or what...and that was only one
of his scratch tracks ), with your indulgence I'm going to
make another one!!!
So if any of you budding photographers have anything you'd like
to contribute to it, just upload your photos to the photography (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2432)
thread and I'll grab them from there.
Please don't be shy. :)
I'm looking for nature shots with little or no sign of human habitation in
them (i.e. no bridges, boats, buildings, people etc.)....just nature in
all its glory.....and its a chance for your photos to be enjoyed by others,
as it should be
Thanks guys :)

The youtube version of the video came out much better. Shame it degrades the audio track a little. I might put up the full quality version of the song on here later :)
I have some pictures I took in Scotland and will go out and take some photos of the nature here this weekend in preparation for the next video :D
Thanks for the kind words on the song, those who commented.

Yes, thanx,LL!!!:) I was just thinking, after reading some confrontational posts, that the animals the dolphins, the trees, the brooks, the oceans, the mountains, don't care about being an atheist, catholic, jew, mulim, or whatever! I think if we get out in nature more often, it tends to harmonize our spirits, allowing a little more toleration, and moderation!:) BTW I loved the tiger! Such a regal and beautiful beast!

of more wonderful nature photography, so it seems we'll be brewing
up another vid or two soon.

That is a very nice picture indeed :) I will try to remember it. Is it just me or does that reptile look noble? Reminds me of a book I once read about a hobgoblin named fewmaster Toede I think it was. He was a comical villain in the Dragonlance series. In a book with this hobgoblin dragonlord as the main character, he was put to a test of wether or not a villain could be noble. He was put through this test by some devilish fiends from hell :D And whenever he died, he got sent back to the world of Krynn, just to become tested again. I made one of my first english reports on this book, and I dont think I did too well with the report, but the book and the story itself, touched me deeply. It had a good way to define what I today define as noble ;)

The Marine Iguanas of the Galapagos Islands are noble. I was able to get very close to them. Here is another picture, plus a pair of Warbler Finches, made famous by Charles Darwin, and a pair of Blue Footed Boobies displaying to each other.

Well I'm no photographer myself, but some of the photography in the video was courtesy of our own forum members who are VERY talented photographers. The rest was shots I found on the net...beautiful enough to be featured, shared and admired. Beauty is beauty as far as I'm concerned.
No insult taken. :)

Tasslehoff Burrfoot was always my favorite :)
Hehe :) He is one of the best Dragonlance characters for sure :D I think I have read every book he is in. A Kender with a timetraveling device  Even among kender his life seems very exciting ;)
My own favorite is Raistlin Majere though. I have even thought about making him my avatar. I have a few nice ones of him.
I have only seen turtles and iguanas in zoo's and as pets :( Would be nice to be able to get close to them in their natural habitat :)
