Overpopulation is a lie.
There is plenty of space in the world to adequately feed a far greater population.
Don't believe me? Just take all the golf courses and turn them over to arable production.
As Deca mentions, manmade weather technology has been used to cause "natural" catastrophes.
The real catastrophe is the abuse of nature by the elite and the encouragement of materialism amongst the general population.
We simply don't need most of the crap we buy.
An economy can be successful without material wastage.
Quality instead of quantity! Less material goods, but a higher quality, better workmanship, better materials, away from plastics and toxic chemicals.
