I keep seeing the term the "Age of Aquarius" being used often on this forum and in various other places usually suggesting we are about to enter this "new age" or have just done so. The term often seems to be used as if it is well known fact that we are upon this age.
I've most often seen this term used on this forum together with various, sometimes oddball beliefs relating to 2012 and often used in attempt to back up claims of ascension, doomsday, awakenings, Nibiru like stories....
But the fact of the matter is that there is absolutely no common consensus as to when the era has or is supposed to even begin and the range of dates given by various sources are absolutely massive - going back as far as 1447 AD to as far in the future as year 3621 .
So we have a possible range for the Age of Aquarius occuring that noone can even agree on of some 5068 years.....hmmmn ok I won't hold my breath then...
Maybe it was that hippie song from the 60s that did the damage, "...this is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius...." (I quite like this tune actually )
Now the song effectively gives a date for the AoA with the words "When the Moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars. Then peace will guide the planets, and love will steer the stars". This alignment actually happened on valentines day February 14th 2009.
However, big problem: Jupiter aligns with Mars several times a year and the Moon is in the 7th House for about two hours every day - but some people take this alignment as gospel for a date of the AoA yet this aligmnent has occured countless times throughout history :confused:
