In 1993 Italian soldiers were in Somalia. I live in a town that have a military base that means the soldiers go to mission aut of Italy (abroad) and other things. In 1993 I knew a soldier that was a paratrooper (para). We spoke about somalia
and he was sad because the command didn't send him to Somalia. Cause of his affliction was (he told me) that he was sad because he didn't go to Somalia to crash the heads of the blacks. We spoke about the matter and come aut that there was a whole battalion pride to go to Somalia with the only
target to crash the heads of the blacks men in Somalia."what a pity don't go with my friends to kill some dirty black men" He said.
The television showed the Italian mission as "PEACE MISSION".
I think that now is the same story. When the media speak about peace, there are battalions ready to go abroad to crash the heads and kill civilians.
