reading this article of the influence big pharma is having in the schools as it targets 'new markets'. further down the article it mentions how glaxo is marketing dexedrine thats pharmaceutical pure amphetamine  (and also the inspiration for the name of dexys midnight runners) kids strung out, burnt out with speed psychosis.

But there is also criticism the move suggests a “cozy relationship” between pharma and the government, according to the paper, which notes that Balls is one of Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s closest advisers. Last year, Brown named former Glaxo ceo JP Pierre Garnier to his new Business Council, while Children’s Minister Margaret Hodge made Glaxo chairman Richard Sykes a member of the Higher Education Funding Council.

All of the big pharma companies are waging a war against the people. They have completely taken over the medical schools by controlling their grant funding, taken over our elected officials via bribes and stocks, and now control the media thru advertising money.

The top ten most prescribed drugs kill tens of thousands of people per year and yet we hear not so much as a peep about this in the media. If I owned a company whose product killed even 1 person, the Feds would bust my door down, throw me in jail and confiscate my business. Then I would face a civil court that would take anything I had left. These assholes don't even get a slap on the wrist.

Every major drug company in the US, in just the last year alone, has been caught falsifying data, hiding data, and paying off doctors to make false statements. In other words, they have not only been caught breaking a multitude of laws, but their malfeasance has killled thousands of innocent people. No one is punished, no one is brought up on charges, and no companies are shutdown. They just keeping on doing what they're doing while an ignorant public gets their shots and fills their scripts.

This shit makes my blood boil!
