Usually I would just link to this because it's a little lengthy but I feel this is too important and relevant so I'm going to paste it in full here. I have been experiencing many of these symptoms for a few years now, in fact virtually all of them as have many of you true seekers out there no doubt, this may help a few of you out.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Symptoms of Spiritual Awakening
1. Changing sleep patterns: restlessness, hot feet, waking up two or three times a night. Feeling tired after you wake up and sleepy off and on during the day. There is something called the Triad Sleep Pattern that occurs for many: you sleep for about 2-3 hours, wake up, go back to sleep for another couple of hours, wake again, and go back to sleep again. For others, the sleep requirements have changed. You can get by on less sleep. Lately I have been experiencing huge waves of energy running into my body from the crown. It feels good, but it keeps me awake for a long time, then subsides. Advice: Get used to it. Make peace with it and don't worry about getting enough sleep (which often causes more insomnia). You will be able to make it through the day if you hold thoughts of getting just what you need. You can also request your Higher Power to give you a break now and then and give you a good, deep night's sleep. If you can't go back to sleep right away, use the waking moments to meditate, read poetry, write in your journal or look at the moon. Your body will adjust to the new pattern.
2. Activity at the crown of the head: Tingling, itching, prickly, crawling sensations along the scalp and/or down the spine. A sense of energy vibrating on top of the head, as if energy is erupting from the head in a shower. Also the sensation of energy pouring in through the crown, described as "sprinkles". This may also be experienced as pressure on the crown, as if someone is pushing his/her finger into the center of your head. As I mentioned in #1, I have been experiencing huge downloads of energy through the crown. In the past, I have felt more generalized pressure, as if my head is in a gentle vise. One man related that his hair stood on end and his body was covered with goosebumps. Advice: This is nothing to be alarmed about. What you are experiencing is an opening of the crown chakra. The sensations mean that you are opening up to receive divine energy.
3. Sudden waves of emotion. Crying at the drop of a hat. Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. Or inexplicably depressed. Then very happy. Emotional roller coaster. There is often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is not to be confused with the heart, which is located to the left of the heart chakra. Advice: Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Don't direct the emotions at anyone. You are cleaning out your past. If you want some help with this, say out loud that you intend to release all these old issues and ask your Higher Power to help you. You can also ask Grace Elohim to help you release with ease and gentleness. Be grateful that your body is releasing these emotions and not holding onto them inside where they can do harm. One source suggests that depression is linked to letting go of relationships to people, work, etc. that no longer match us and our frequencies. When we feel guilty about letting go of these relationships, depression helps us medicate that pain.
4. Old "stuff" seems to be coming up, as described above, and the people with whom you need to work it out (or their clones) appear in your life. Completion issues. Or perhaps you need to work through issues of self-worth, abundance, creativity, addictions, etc. The resources or people you need to help you move through these issues start to appear. Advice: Same as #3. Additionally, don't get too involved in analyzing these issues. Examining them too much will simply cycle you back through them over and over again at deeper and deeper levels. Get professional help if you need to and walk through it. Do not try to avoid them or disassociate yourself from them. Embrace whatever comes up and thank it for helping you move ahead. Thank your Higher Power for giving you the opportunity to release these issues. Remember, you don't want these issues to stay stuck in your body.
5. Changes in weight. The weight gain in the US population is phenomenal. Other people may be losing weight. We often gain weight because many fears we have suppressed are now coming up to the surface to be healed. We react by building up a defense. We also attempt to ground ourselves or provide bulk against increasing frequencies in our bodies. Advice: Don't freak out, but just accept it as a symptom of where you are right now. You will release/gain the weight when all your fears have been integrated. Release your anxiety about this. Then you might find it easier to lose/gain the weight eventually. Exercise. Before eating, try this: Sit at the table with an attractive place setting. Light a candle. Enjoy how the food looks. Place your dominant hand over your heart and bless the food. Tell your body that you are going to use the food to richly nourish it, but that you are not going to use the food to fulfill your emotional hungers. Then pass your hand from left to right over the food and bless it. You may notice that the food feels warm to your hand even if the food is cold-- I like to think that the food is good for me when it feels warm and nourishing to my hand. I have also noticed that when I practice blessing the food, I don't eat as much. It is important not to let yourself off the hook when you forget to bless the food before you eat. If I've forgotten and I've nearly finished eating, I bless the food anyway. That way I don't slip out of the habit. Another thing you can do is to stay present while eating -- don't watch TV or read. Heartily enjoy what blessings are before you.
6. Changes in eating habits: Strange cravings and odd food choices. Some find they are not as hungry as they used to be. Or hungrier. Advice: Don't deny what your body tells you it needs. If you are not sure, you might try muscle-testing before you chose a food to see if it's what your body wants. Also try blessing the food as described in #5.
7. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before: As you grow more spiritual, you are more sensitive to everything around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is sloughing off what doesn't serve it anymore. You might be cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race. Advice: An acupuncturist told me that this film can be removed by sloshing 2 tablespoons of cold-pressed olive oil in your mouth for 10-15 minutes (don't swallow, whatever you do), then spitting it out into the toilet -- not the sink, for you just removed toxins from your body and don't want them in the sink. Brush your teeth and do the same. Then clean your brush. (Sorry this is yukky, but it works.)
8. Amplification of the senses. Increased sensitivity. 8a. Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent. When you close your eyes, you no longer see darkness, but redness. You may also see geometric shapes or brilliant colors and pictures when eyes are closed. Colors appear more vivid -- the sky might look teal or the grass an amazing green. Often I see grids running across the ground. As you become more sensitive, you may see shapes or outlines in the air, especially when the room is almost dark. When your eyes are open or closed, you may see white shapes in your peripheral vision (these are your guides). Advice: Your vision is changing in many ways -- you are experiencing new ways of seeing. Be patient. Whatever you do, do not be afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning. 8b. Hearing: Increased or decreased hearing. I once thought I would have to pull off the road because of the painfully amplified sound of my tires on the freeway. Other symptoms are hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Others have what is called audio dyslexia-- you can't always make out what people are saying, as if you can no longer translate your own language. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is hovering near them. You can either ask the presence(s) to leave or ask Archangel Michael to take care of the situation. Again, there is nothing to fear. Advice: Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Your ears are adjusting to new frequencies. 8c. Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste. I notice I can now smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Other food may taste absolutely wonderful. For some people, these enhancements are both delightful and distracting. You might even smell the fragrance of flowers now and then. Many of the mystics did. Enjoy it.
9. Skin eruptions: Rashes, bumps, acne, hives, and shingles. Anger produces outbreaks around the mouth and chin. I had a dermatitis on my extremities for several months that accompanied healing an episode from my past. When I had worked through most of the issue, the condition was released. Advice: You may be sloughing off toxins and bringing emotions to the surface. When there is an issue to be released and you are trying to repress it, your skin will express the issue for you until you process the emotions. Work through your "stuff".
10. Episodes of intense energy which make you want to leap out of bed and into action. Followed by periods of lethargy and fatigue. The fatigue usually follows great shifts. This is a time of integration, so give into it. Advice: Roll with the nature of the energy. Don't fight it. Be gentle with yourself. Take naps if you are tired. Write your novel if you are too energized to sleep. Take advantage of the type of energy.
11. Changes in prayer or meditation. Not feeling the same sensations as before. Not having the same experience of being in contact with Spirit. Difficulty in focusing. Advice: You may be in more instant and constant communion with Spirit now and the sensation may therefore be altered. You will adapt to this new feeling. You are actually thinking and acting in partnership with Spirit most of the time now. You may find your meditation periods shorter.
12. Power surges: All of a sudden you are heated from head to toe. It is a momentary sensation, but uncomfortable. In contrast, some people have felt inexplicably cold. I have experienced both. More recently I experience waves or currents of energy rolling through me. Sometimes the energy seems so intense when it first comes into my body that I feel a little nauseated. But if I think of the energy as divine and let go of fear, I feel wonderful and enjoy the sensation. If you are an energy worker, you may have noticed that the heat running through your hands has increased tremendously. This is good. Advice: If you are uncomfortable, ask your Higher Power, that if it be for your best and highest good, to turn down/up the temperature a bit.
13. A range of physical manifestations: Headaches, backaches, neck pains, flu-like symptoms (this is called vibrational flu), digestive problems, muscular spasms or cramps, racing heartbeat, chest pains, changes in sexual desire, numbness or pain in the limbs, and involuntary vocalizations or bodily movements. Some of us have even had old conditions from childhood reappear briefly for healing. Advice: Remember what I said about seeking medical help if you need it! If you have determined that this is not a medical condition, relax in the realization that it is only temporary.
14. Looking younger. Yippee! As you clear emotional issues and release limiting beliefs and heavy baggage from the past, you are actually lighter. Your frequency is higher. You love yourself and life more. You begin to resemble the perfect you that you really are.
15. Vivid dreams. Sometimes the dreams are so real that you wake up confused. You may even have lucid dreams in which you are in control. Many dreams may be mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are not "dreaming" -- that what is happening is somehow real. Advice: You will remember what is important for you to remember. Don't force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
16. Events that completely alter your life: death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes -- sometimes several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are and what your life means to you. Forces that you cannot ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
17. A desire to break free from restrictive patterns, life-draining jobs consumptive lifestyles, and toxic people or situations. You feel a compelling need to "find yourself" and your life purpose -- now! You want to be creative and free to be who you really are. You might find yourself drawn to the arts and nature. You want to unclutter yourself from things and people that no longer serve you. Advice: Do it!
18. Emotional and mental confusion: A feeling that you need to get your life straightened out--it feels like a mess. But at the same time you feel chaotic and unable to focus. See #45. Advice: Put your ear to your heart and your own discernment will follow.
19. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities: This stage has come as a surprise to many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, "I don't know why, but I don't like to go out as much as before."
20. Creativity bursts: Receiving images, ideas, music, and other creative inspirations at an often overwhelming rate. Advice: At least record these inspirations, for Spirit is speaking to you about how you might fulfill your purpose and contribute to the healing of the planet.
21. A perception that time is accelerating. It seems that way because you have had so many changes introduced into your life at an unprecedented rate. The number of changes seems to be growing. Advice: Breaking your day up into appointments and time segments increases the sense of acceleration .You can slow time down by relaxing into the present moment and paying attention to what's at hand, not anticipating what's ahead. Slow down and tell yourself that you have plenty of time. Ask your Higher Power to help you. Keep your focus on the present. Try to flow from one activity to the next. Stay tuned to your inner guidance. You can also warp time by asking for it. Next time you feel rushed, say, "Time warp, please. I need some more time to -----." Then relax.
22. A sense of impendingness. There is a feeling that something is about to happen. This can create anxiety. Advice: There is nothing to worry about. Things are definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts -- positive or negative-- are prayers. There is nothing to fear.
23. Impatience. You know better, but sometimes you can't help it. You want to get on with what seems to be coming your way. Uncertainty is not comfortable. Advice: Learn to live with the uncertainty, knowing that nothing comes to you until you are ready. Impatience is really a lack of trust, especially trust in your Higher Power. When you focus on the present, you will experience miracles -- yes, even in traffic.
24. A deep yearning for meaning, purpose, spiritual connection, and revelation. Perhaps an interest in the spiritual for the first time in your life. "Constant craving", as k.d. lang says. The material world cannot fulfill this longing. Advice: Follow your heart and the way will open up for you.
25. A feeling that you are somehow different. A disquieting sense that everything in your life feels new and altered, that you have left your old self behind. You have. You are much greater than you can possibly imagine. There is more to come.
26. "Teachers" appear everywhere with perfect timing to help you on your spiritual journey: people, books, movies, events, Mother Nature, etc. Teachers may appear to be negative or positive when you are trapped in polarity thinking, but, from a transcendent perspective, they are always perfect. Just what you need to learn from and move on. By the way, we never get more than we are ready to master. Each challenge presents us with an opportunity to show our mastery in passing through it.
27. You find a spiritual track that makes sense to you and "speaks to you" at the most profound levels. Suddenly you are gaining a perspective that you would never have considered before. You hunger to know more. You read, share with others, ask questions, and go inside to discover more about who you are and why you are here
28. You are moving through learning and personal issues at a rapid pace. You sense that you are "getting it" quite readily. Advice: Keep remembering that things will come to you when they are ready to be healed. Not sooner. Deal with whatever comes up with courage and you will move through the issues rapidly.
29. Invisible presences. Here is the woo-woo stuff. Some people report feeling surrounded by beings at night or having the sensation of being touched or talked to. Often they will wake with a start. Some also feel their body orbed vibrate. The vibrations are caused by energetic changes after emotional clearing has taken place. Advice: This is a sensitive topic, but you may feel better blessing your bed and space around it before you sleep. I rest assured that I am surrounded only by the most magnificent spiritual entities and am always safe in God's care. Sometimes, however, the fear gets to me, and I call in Archangel Michael and/or Archangel Uriel. I don't beat myself up for being afraid sometimes. I forgive myself for not always sovereign at 3:00 a.m.
30. Portents, visions, "illusions", numbers, and symbols: Seeing things that have spiritual importance for you. Noticing how numbers appear synchronistically in your awareness. Everything has a message if you take the time to look. I enjoy the experience of "getting the messages." What fun!
31. Increased integrity: You realize that it is time for you to seek and speak your truth. It suddenly seems important for you to become more authentic, more yourself. You may have to say "no" to people whom you have tried to please in the past. You may find it intolerable to stay in a marriage or job or place that doesn't support who you are. You may also find there is nowhere to hide, no secrets to keep anymore. Honesty becomes important in all your relationships. Advice: Listen to your heart. If your guidance tells you not to do something, speak up and take action. Say "no". Likewise, you must also say "yes" to that which compels you. You must risk displeasing others without guilt in order to attain spiritual sovereignty.
32. Harmony with seasons and cycles: You are becoming more tuned to the seasons, the phases of the moon and natural cycles. More awareness of your place in the natural world. A stronger connection to the earth.
33. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions: When you are around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire. Advice: Call on your angels, guides, or Grace Elohim to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with bluelight. Laugh.
34. Increased synchronicity and many small miracles. Look for more of these. Advice: Synchronistic events tell you if you are heading in the right direction or making the correct choices. Honor these clues and you cannot go astray. Spirit uses synchronicity to communicate to you. That's when you begin to experience daily miracles. See #30.
35. Increased intuitive abilities and altered states of consciousness: Thinking of someone and immediately hearing from them. More synchronicities. Having sudden insights about patterns or events from the past. Clairvoyance, out-of-body experiences, and other psychic phenomena. Intensified sensitivity and knowing. Awareness of one's essence and that of others. Channeling angelic and Christ-consciousness energies.
36. Communication with Spirit. Contact with angels, spirit guides, and other divine entities. Channeling. More and more people seem to be given this opportunity. Feeling inspiration and downloading information that takes form as writing, painting, ideas, communications, dance, etc.
37. A sense of Oneness with all. A direct experience of this Wholeness. Transcendent awareness. Being flooded with compassion and love for all life. Compassionate detachment or unconditional love for all is what lifts us up to higher levels of consciousness and joy.
38. Moments of joy and bliss. A deep abiding sense of peace and knowing that you are never alone.
39. Integration: You become emotionally, psychologically, physically, and spiritually stronger and clearer. You feel as if you are in alignment with your Higher Self.
40. Living your purpose: You know you are finally doing what you came to earth for. New skills and gifts are emerging, especially healing ones. Your life/work experiences are now converging and starting to make sense. You are finally going to use them all. Advice: Listen to your heart. Your passion leads you to where you must go. Go within and ask your Higher Power, "What is it you would have me do?" Watch for synchronicities. Listen.
41. Feeling closer to animals and plants. To some people, animals now seem to be more "human" in their behavior. Wild animals are less afraid. Plants respond to your love and attention more than ever. Some may even have messages for you.
42. Seeing beings of other dimensions. The veil between dimensions is thinner, so it is not surprising. Just stay in your sovereignty. You are more powerful than you can ever imagine, so do not entertain fear. Ask your guides for help if you slip into fear.
43. Seeing a person's true form or seeing loved ones with a different face -- past life or parallel life.
44. Physically manifesting thoughts and desires more quickly and efficiently. Advice: Monitor your thoughts. All thoughts are prayers. Be careful what you ask for.
45. Left -brain fogginess. Your psychic abilities, your intuitive knowing, your feeling and compassion, your ability to experience your body, your visioning, your expressiveness all emanate from the right brain. In order for this side of the brain to develop more fully, the left brain must shut down a little bit. Normally the left-hemisphere's capacity for order, organization, structure, linear sequencing, analysis, evaluation, precision, focus, problem-solving, and mathematics dominate our often less-valued right brain. What results are memory lapses, placing words in the wrong sequence, inability or no desire to read for very long, inability to focus; forgetting what you are just about to say; impatience with linear forms of communication (audio or written formats); a feeling of spaciness, being scattered; losing interesting research or complex information; feeling bombarded with words and talk and information; and a reluctance to write. Sometimes you feel dull and have no interest in analysis, lively intellectual discussion, or investigation. On the other hand, you might find yourself drawn to the sensate: videos, magazines with photos, beautiful artwork, movies, music, sculpting, painting, being with people, dancing, gardening, walking, and other kinesthetic forms of expression. You may search for spiritual content, even science fiction. Advice: You may discover that if you allow your heart and your right brain to lead you, the left will then be activated appropriately to support you. And someday we will be well-balanced, using both hemispheres with mastery.
46. Dizziness. This occurs when you are ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is adjusting to your "lighter" state. Advice: Ground yourself by eating protein. Sometimes "comfort food" feels right. Don't make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.
47. Falling, having accidents, breaking bones. Your body is not grounded or perhaps your life is out of balance. Or your body may be telling you to slow down, examine certain aspects of your life, or heal certain issues. There is always a message. When I recently broke my ankle, I understand that my ankle was taking on what I myself refused to deal with. And that was all of the above. Advice: Stay grounded by taking your shoes off and putting your feet in the grass; even better, lie down on the grass without a blanket under you. Feel the earth beneath you. Get out in nature. Slow down and pay attention. Be mindful about what you are doing. Feel your feelings when they come up. Stay in the present. Surround yourself with blue light when you are feeling shaky.
48. Heart palpitations. A racing heart usually accompanies a heart opening. It only lasts for a few moments and means that the heart is re-balancing itself after an emotional release. I had one episode that terrified me: I woke up in the middle of the night, my heart pounding. I thought it was going to come right out of my chest. It only happened once and was, I understand, a huge heart-chakra opening. But I did check it out. There is nothing wrong with my heart. Advice: Remember what I said about getting medical attention when needed. Consult your doctor about any conditions you are not comfortable with.
49. Faster hair and nail growth. More protein is being used in the body. Too bad we can't tell the body where to grow the hair and where not to grow it. (Or can we? Hmmm.)
50. A desire to find your soulmate or twin flame. More than ever before, the idea that we can have a relationship that matches who we are seems more desirable. Advice: The truth is, we have to be the kind of person we want to attract. We have to love ourselves and where we are right now before we can attract a more "perfect" mate. The work begins at home. Here is how I think it works: Hold the desire for this person in your heart, but without attachment. Expect that someday you will meet someone who is more suited to you, but let go of any expectations as to who this will be and how it will happen. Focus instead on cleaning up your own life and being the kind of person you want to be. Be happy now. Enjoy your life. Then you may see.....
51. Memories surface. Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are healing and integrating all our "selves", so expect to have some of these experiences. Advice. Keep in mind that it is best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don't analyze everything to death (because you will be stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up. Ask for help from your guides.

Logic Bomb
Nice find, it mirrors alot of my symptoms http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5503
and I bet many others on here too.
It just seems a little uncomfortable to use the 'Archangel Michael ' ascended masters etc etc....Sometimes, however, the fear gets to me, and I call in Archangel Michael and/or Archangel Uriel. I don't beat myself up for being afraid sometimes. I forgive myself for not always sovereign at 3:00 a.m.
Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is hovering near them. You can either ask the presence(s) to leave or ask Archangel Michael to take care of the situation. Again, there is nothing to fear.
hmm im not discounting all of this archangel stuff but why give your tremendous power (we all have) to someone else?
good find anyhow:)

Geewhizz,
Nice observations and I agree with you completely.
What you say about Archangels and Ass-ended Masters is valid. Not to be trusted. Discernment is always required when reading through New Age material.

Very good, I can tick most of that lot off..............

logic bomb,
That was great and thanks for sharing it. I would like to know who wrote it though so could you please add a link to the author's site or where you found it? I'm curious if this author has written anything else because that list was very accurate and helpful. Thanks again for the great information.

hey guys, yeah i know what u guys are going through, it sucks but you can't unlearn that shit...so...how to cope....
ok i'm guessing you guys are getting (possibly) head aches/migrains in frontal lobe area, or the exact opposite side at the back of the head? if no, then that's cool, if yes, then that's a problem, especially if they began after the awakening...something that was news to me until last year was that opening the crown chakra area can cause psychosis (yay!-isn't that lovely??just what I wanted)...the head ahces are one way to know, other ways could but are not limited to delusion, paranoia (and not little stuff-i mean like walking down the street and get the idea that "there're"-noone in particular just "them"-after me, hearing voices that kind of shit....., thinking you are jesus is a big one....
The human energy system (i probably shouldn't be writing this stuff, i'm writing a book about it..mmm, oh well can't leave u guys hanging if i can help)
ok first crash course on reality, everything is energy (i mean everything living, non living, 3d or no) humans (and if aliens are runnin around, then probly them too) have the capasity to manipulate the subtle energies around them (and even not around them-if ur good) ok thats a quick explanation...
the human energy sys is made of this energy (there is not just one kind, but bloody heaps-probably infinate-but that dosn't matetr now) our body is lik a river of energy, sometimes the water gets stuck along it's path (like if an area suffered drought anda river evaporated and only tricked through, still moving but not enouhg to keep theenrgy from becoming stangant), that is where pain come from (not all pain, but alot) now where does this fit into spiritual awakening???
if you open ur crown chakra and aren't prepared for it, you release a massive amout of energy from ur body, that your mind has not comprehended (you feel hot/cold/painful) as energy...so it sits...and sits...and gathers some more energy...and sits some more, and so on and on on...like damming a river...ask a scientist what happens when u expose a person to high levels of radiation, they might say "who are you? and why are you in my office", but probably they will say "the person would die"...why? too much energy destroys cells! aha...as i just mentioned above we produce energy (check out linda goodman's star signs-ppl = generator)
so we got this energy which we produce but didn't know it was there/what to do with/that i HAD TO do anything with anyway!
yep, that's the size of it...
what do we do??..??...(or maybe..shit that's amasing..here's my credit card details...)
well, i'm not set up yet as a healer, but if u pm with a pic of the top of ur head i can have a go, or if u have money/time *i swear it was called the space time continum..oh well money/time contium sounds about right!*
you can hire a good reputable reiki healer, or you can have a go ur self!
when u next take a shower try to make the water as cool as possible(not freezing, but not warm-pool temp?)-if this is too much, just dunk ur head under...now try to feel the heat as opposed (and in relation to)the coolness of the water, now visualise that the heat is actually black sludge in side ur head and as the water pours over ur head the black crap flows out with it.
another thing to try (one its own or in conjunction with the previous) is smudging, get insence and wave it over, above, around the area that is affected, visualise the smoke taking the black sludge.
ok hope i was of some help...
if that dosn't work, pm me send a pick of the top of ur head (u don't have to show ur face) and i'll have a go.....
just remeber this is no cure, but itcan help if you are suffering (or will suffer) psychosis from the awakening.
peace guys

if it feels bad, then it's bad, if it feels good then it is good...just remember...everything is just playing a game on the oval of God.
if u hear God telling u to hurt yourself or others, then this is not God or any good spirit, if u hold an understandering of God (whateva that may be) then tell God that they are bothering you, ask for help, then command them by the power and authority of God to disperse, or if u have some majik skills then just cut them with ur finger (swoosh, cut the air where they are like a sword!fell there're energy spill out like blood and drain throuhg the ground to the centre of the earth)

49. "Faster hair and nail growth. More protein is being used in the body. Too bad we can't tell the body where to grow the hair and where not to grow it. (Or can we? Hmmm.)"
...yes, this is very possible, i'm regrowing my hair now, it's still slow, not like tv, but balding hair does not come back

Yeah, I do a lot in front of monitors 12 hours every day at least. But that Grey Mist is odd... its like there's smoke in the room but evenly spread. I've got a TFT@60Hz Glass fronted. You?

I've been seeing this pale mist or fog-like stuff off and on for the past 10 years now. With time I've learned that seeing it (in certain places) indicates that I'm perceiving energy changes around me. I've seen it many times only while in certain shopping stores; the second I leave the store and am outside, it's gone. Inside the store the overall energies were much lower vibrationally than outside yet I've seen it outdoors as well.
It's just us perceiving different frequency rates of energy and it seems from what I've discovered over the years, is that seeing it means that you are vibrating slightly faster and higher than what's all around you at that moment.
As far as seeing orbs, or balls of different colored light, zipping little dark or shadowy balls, shadows, brilliant flashes of white-silver light sometimes no larger than a pencil-point and lots of other things; it's just all part of our current evolving (ascending) consciousness causing us to see different energies and lifeforms that were always there anyway! It's just now we're starting to perceive some of them because we're energetically speeding up. The best is yet to come! ;)

I often see black flecks out of the corner of my eye. Also occasionally see whiffs of grey smoke usually at night when I am in bed and look at the ceiling. About 7 months ago when I was at work and looking at a site on Vortex Mechanics - http://www.vortexpluswater.com/vortex_mechanics.htm I had this sudden massive wave of energy in my head come over me (almost felt like my head was about to explode). I didnt quite know what to do with the excess of energy. It lasted for about 30 seconds.

For my own symptoms of kundalini, brain, nervous system and skin, I found that Potassium and Magnesium/Coral Calcium, Chromium Picolinate is a MUST. This has really helped. Just eating banannas every day works faster than taking a potassium supplement and helps the body to maintain balance. It may not sustain as well as but its quick if you start to feel that fuzzy, electric buzz.... That's when your body is beginning to react to the electromagnetic overload.
Just a thought... there is an interesting correlation between the extreme amount of diabetic phenomenon that has taken place in the last ten years and potassium deficiency.... Maybe the central nervous system gets so depleted of Potassium that it eventually develops into diabetes? Is that possible? The pharmaceutical companies must be loving it!!!
Also... keep the Gatorade flowing (especially if you are physically working alot):)

Thanks so much for that posting, found just what I needed, at the right moment. This forum is very valuable. Some of us do not mix in our daily lives with people who understand/tolerate/welcome discussion on these topics and at these levels. It can be quite isolating and painful. Affirmation is wonderful and brings your vibration up once more when the 3D world continues to knock one about. There is a homeopathic "bush flower" blended essence, Electro Essence, I find helpful for establishing equilibrium. Otherwise I agree with observing diet, keeping water, vitamin, mineral, fresh food intake at optimum levels to help cope with changes. Meditation and visualising energy clearing blocks in the body also keeps vibration highest. There are times when I have virtually no sleep, but replenish myself with a couple of plug-ins to a field of swirling purple and sometimes other colours, which I see with eyes closed. Afterwards I feel fine, like I have had that night of sleep afterall. Yep, it's freaky... good freaky.

I have never been a very wicked person, never harmful to others. In the past few years, I realized something within myself, some things that I needed to heal.
First, I became less and less fascinated with broadcast cable and television. the commercials and flashes seemed to me to be overwhelming. I became more clear headed, more control of my thoughts.
My appetite had changed significantly. I no longer wanted fast foods, sugary foods. I craved more fresh water and natural juices. Recently, I have only consumed organic foods.
My book interests expanded from just fiction to every genre, especially occultic, new-age and astrology. I began to absorb so much knowledge at a rapid rate. My reading speed has increased dramatically, now able to read up to three books a day.
I used to have thoughts that disturbed me, like they weren't my own. I would imagine twisted things that would entice me, and then I would suddenly be repulsed. I have began to see differently, looking at porn now, its hard to climax... I don't even attempt to anymore, realizing that I would be climaxing off of someone else's slavery. I started to astral travel some years ago, and have so much sex on the astral plane that I would feel drained sometimes! Realized that it was not good for my spirit to indulge in every available sexual encounter. Instead I observe and make friendships and converse.
I have always loved animals and Earth's natural beauty, and my connection with her has intensified to the fullest. It seems that I am only sentitive to the negativity imposed upon the Earth and no longer of my selfish dilemmas.
OverallI, I have never felt this way in my entire life! I feel so free and fearless!! Most of all, I speak the TRUTH, in the past I did not always, and NOW I realize the dramatic results of not speaking TRUTH.

ahoy to all vibrations. just my two cents worth...
i liked art bells saying for this. 'the quickening' but then that reminded of the highlander films. the first film was the best. i've been reading this thread of a couple of days. definetly agree. something sure is something going on. just not sure on what to call it.
its a richer time. everything looks more glossy, everything around me kinda looks if its underwater. what i mean by that as in colour. when say a car drives by its green. the way i see it its the colour has a glow, like how colour changes under water. its very odd. a good one to read symtoms of this earth change. stuart wilde speaks of the morph. a transdimenional overlay thats occuring as i type.
on more of the symptoms i get lots of white, flashing from the corner of my eye. when eyes are closed i see tiny lights dancing, fading in and out, sometimes i see smallpictures, scenes but its all through a filter of green, sometimes blue. like night vision goggles. works best when in a hot bath, least for me it does. i think is a metaphysical puberty. thats it... thats what i'm calling it. not the awakening, not the morph, quickening. its just our spiritual balls finally dropping.
if there such a thing as a earth consciencess then its definitly female she is mentrating something awful.
good to see there are many out there having a taste of whatever this is. i dont think yeah its a ride kinda philosophy, you need to enjoy the silences and the mundane sides. for myself i just stay grounded as possible. get on with it. wake up at half six to get the half seven bus to get to work for nine on time, still feed myself microwave burgers, take my dog out pick up his dog eggs with a green plastic bag, get drunk/stoned/high just as long as its fun, fun breeds excitment. excitment is fine fuel at the end of the day your shit smells the same.
and hello to all

Is it possible to be 'half awake' or only a certain percentage awake? And please note that I'm just a new member of this forum and NEVER have I tried those meditation and yoga and buddhist stuff.
I am a Catholic. I remember times though when I prayed deeply to God and cried while begging him to give me an insane amount of strength so I will no longer cry. As of now I have a difficult time crying (before I used to be a 'cry baby' who would cry at the slightest reason). I can watch the most horrible acts and still be unfazed.
YOU BE THE JUDGE. IN NO WAY AM I TRYING TO MAKE MYSELF 'LOOK COOL' OR FEEL SUPERIOR AND IMPORTANT TO EVERYONE. THANK YOU FOR READING THIS POST.
I've read through all the symptoms but I only experience a few such as:
---------------------
Number 3 - '...Or inexplicably depressed' I've experienced it BEFORE but no longer now. When I experienced it I remember going through long long periods of depression and drinking alcohol. It felt like a total confusion in my head. The depression and pain was a result of the total confusion. Is it?
---
Number 4 - 'old stuff keeps coming up'. I often have dreams of myself as a little kid and getting into fights with bullies and in those fights, I either win or lose with honor (putting up a good fight even though I lose).
But on the rare occasion, I experience intimidation and fear and when I wake up I feel guilty for being afraid.
---
Number 5 - 'Changes in weight'
- Not really too much. In relation to my height, I'm still considered 'overweight'. But I used to be so fat that I have a problem walking. I used to be so fat that one round of jogging around a basketball court makes me gasp for air.
Perhaps could be the working out I did and the slight diet change?
---
Number 6 - Changes in eating habits
- I'm eating more vegetables (in your standards its STILL little. On some occasions I've forced myself to eat veggies) now even if I was conditioned from birth to eat all those processed meat.
---
Number 8 - 'Amplification of the senses. Increased sensitivity'- again as a result from working out more and changing diet and taking more vitamins? I feel more alert these days and less and less depressed.
---
Number 9 -' Skin eruptions: Rashes, bumps, acne, hives, and shingles'
I have this acne on my chest. When I tried treating it with antibiotics it only multiplied. But when I had it injected with some sort of 'corticosteroid' (skin steroid) it stopped and the lumps on my chest are getting better.
---
10. Episodes of intense energy which make you want to leap out of bed and into action
- Sometimes. VERY seldom.
---
15. Vivid dreams
- good or bad? I have vivid dreams of fighting (mostly schoolyard fights) and sex (heterosexual -- I always wake up forgetting her face but I wake up totally refreshed).
And one time I had this dream of being captured because I'm a sort of rebel soldier fighting against these 'cloaked' entities who have superhuman abilities and can dodge bullets pretty easily. I got pinned to the ground and shot point black at the back of my left ear in that dream.
When I woke up I looked at my left ear that turned RED.
In another dream, I dreamt I was in a mall and there was a guy doing a shooting rampage. It was totally scary and I may post details of it in another post. It is a LONG story.
---
16. Events that completely alter your life
- Back in 2004-2005, I was rejected by the woman I totally loved with all my heart. It was very painful and it took me a while to get over it. It was like a kind of pain that penetrates the soul. Not to sound emo but thats what it really is.
- And nowadays, I feel a closer relationship with my parents (who I used to have a shit relationship with). Could that be attributed to more TECHNICAL factors I've done such as sending them mixed signals (its a seduction technique I read about in one of those 'pick up women' books and it worked to improve relations with my parents. lol)
---
17. feel a compelling need to "find yourself" and your life purpose -- now
18. Emotional and mental confusion:
24. A deep yearning for meaning, purpose, spiritual connection, and revelation
- Since last year I've been obsessed with accumulating knowledge. That was one of the reasons why I found myself led to this place in the long run.
I'm an office clerk and I have trouble deciding on careers. I've thought about everything from construction worker to truck driver to auto mechanic to computer technician. I'm still searching.
At the same time I'm obsessed with reading about history, religion, and philosophy and the paranormal (to my surprise it all kinda intertwines from psychics to aliens).
---
19. Introspection, solitude
- I've ALWAYS been the loner thats why I kept getting picked on in highschool when I was younger. Its nothing about being an extrovert. I NEVER was an extrovert.
But now, I kinda feel like I have this natural talent for getting along with people. I get along with everyone at work. :)
---
20. Creativity bursts
- I've ALWAYS been fond of writing stories. As early as age 7 I kept on writing and writing and writing stuff.
While I've learned to draw only back in 2001, now is the year 2008 and I have gone a long way. I may post up some of my works in different threads.
I'm not sure if there is some sort of 'spirit' talking to me or such.
Its just that I cant stop running out of things to write about. I've accepted it as a normal part of my life. Does that count? Its not the sudden oooh I'm getting soooo creative now... woooowwww...
---
22. A sense of impendingness
- I feel something BIG is gonna happen. As of WHAT it is I dont know.
---
23. Impatience.
- I am impatient sometimes. But by nature I have a high degree of patience. Every coworker knows that.
---
25. A feeling that you are somehow different.
I've always felt different even from an early age. I cannot seem to 'fit in' anywhere. Does that count?
---
26. "Teachers" appear everywhere with perfect timing
I have an uncle who likes to talk and sermon me and give me advice and is very helpful almost like he's some sort of sensei or something. Does that count?
I've met this woman from north korea who runs a convenience store. She told me alot about kim jong il and kim il sung. Coincidence? But NK is one of the countries that drived my interest. At one point I've obsessively researched about north korea.
Does that count?
And in college I met this teacher who taught me a 'cheat' in how to draw perspective without using 'vanishing points'.
Does that count?
I dont know.
---
28. You are moving through learning and personal issues at a rapid pace.
- I believe I've learned alot about human emotions and psychology and society in a span from 2005-present. What triggered my thirst for that kind of knowledge was the destruction of my heart and soul by the woman I totally loved. (aagh I sound so emo again lol)
But I dont know if I learned alot. I still think I've only learned the drop of the bucket.
---
31. Increased integrity: You realize that it is time for you to seek and speak your truth.
- I've always been an honest man all my life. Does that count?
---
38. Moments of joy and bliss.
- Sometimes I feel this nice warm feeling inside for no reason. Does that count?
---
41. Feeling closer to animals and plants
- I've always loved animals. But its only recently that I'm modifying my diet little by little so I wont need to eat animal flesh.
Does that count?
---
42. Seeing beings of other dimensions.
- When I was 10, I saw demon eyes from the ceiling staring at me. I got scared shitless and ran out of the room. And slept with the lights on and its not there anymore. However even with the light on, I felt I was still being watched but whoever was watching me cannot touch me. I felt a sort of sense of security.
---
49. Faster hair and nail growth
- My hair and nails always grow fast. I accepted that long ago as part of my normal life.
---
50. A desire to find your soulmate or twin flame.
- i think I have this deep down desire inside me that keeps popping out no matter how hard I try to suppress it.
I think suppression of that desire is necessary because of SEXIST LAWS in This continent (north america). You might already know that and I may discuss that in another thread.
---
51. Memories surface.
- I have shaky memories of inhaling smoke and I see something that looks like a bowl used for mixing herbs.
- I have shaky memories of drowning in a sea.
What are those? Hallucinations? My imagination? I have no idea what they are.

since i started looking into conspiracies etc, i have felt and seen loads of weird stuff... i am afraid to tell anyone. for the first time ever i can't even tell my boyfriend everything i am feeling... i can tick many of the 51 boxes but am still not sure yet - what the purpose is to it all?
i am questioning my own sanity and wether i have turned schizo! thank fuck there are other people experiencing the same kind of things.
i am becoming more paranoid and worried about continuing research, having the knowledge, feelings etc... even posting this is worrying me...
should i be scarred? is anyone else paranoid? are we being watched?:confused::confused:

Try not to be fearful.
Fear would only put you back to sleep.
Don't take these conspiracies too seriously to an extent that it will impair your life and ability to think rationally.
Just use these conspiracies as a motivation to be a good person.
I am slightly skeptical about conspiracies. Either they're true or not. We will all know eventually.
While the NWO and Reptoids may exist and even if they succeed in enslaving our bodies, they cannot touch our souls. Remember that.

I woke up this morning and had to scratch my balls, quite the spiritual awakening if i say so myself.
LOL, it made me laugh.
This man knows his stuff. If any of you out there think you are awakening spiritually, then answer theses questions!!
Do you meditate? Do you take hallucnigenic drugs? or deprive yourself of sleep?
These are the methods and maybe a couple of extream ways which you will have to find out for yourself.
If you meditate, then you are definatly on the right path, the true path and in my opinion the only path available to western man. This path is not easy, and beginners will give up quickly. It takes about six months of deep meditation before you notice any results. I'm talking about ten hours a day just meditating. Now I don't wont to put anyone off, but we must face the truth that twenty minutes in the morning, and twenty minutes in the evening is not going to give a person any noticable results of any kind at any time in their life.
What a person needs, is the truth, and if someone can provide that truth, then a person will continue on the spiritual path no matter how long it takes to achieve. I dicovered the truth by myself and stuck at it because I new deep down inside there was something else to this world. I want you all to experience what I experience. I can't stress enough (M E D I T A T E).
The first thing you will notice is energy flowing inside you. Then your thinking will become faster. You will get fast playing sceans in your minds eye, your breathing will slow down. You will get hot and cold and sometimes it will feel like the wind is blowing agaist your body. You will feel clicks in your brain and everytime you do your heart slows down more and your thinking becomes even faster. You learn to think without really thinking. It's fantastic.
Let me tell you there are loads of things that happen to you, but I don't want to tell everyone because this is a process you have to explore yourselves. Plus I can tell who the fakers are amongst us.
I've been meditating for five to six years and it has put me in the mental hospital a good many times. The doctors don't believe a person is awakening, they just see you as mad. They plonk you on anti-psychotics which gives you a chemical labotomy. Let me tell you that's no fun at all. One loses all their thinking capabilities and it damages the brain.
Every time I came out of hospital, I refused their medication because I new my problem was a problem of the mind and I had to find a way to face my fears. It's only when you overcome your fears that your journey continues.
Everytime I was admitted into hospital I was faced with the same fear and it was only on my last admittance, did I get the answer to the one problem I had!!
I told the doctors they couldn't cure me, the only way I can be cured is if I can see a Buddhist monk. Thankfully they got a monk for me. His name is Suna. He spoke with me, but his english was terrible. Then he chanted for me. I felt better for seeing him, but he still could not help me with my problem. I thought I was doomed.
On his second visit he gave me two Buddhism books. I noticed on the back of the books that they were printed free of charge. They were thick books.
Now I had read lots of Buddhism books, but they all stated the same thing in them. This is why I went insane because they said "don't think of something for too long because you will become that person" or words similar to that effect, but one of the books Suna gave me stated "just be with your thoughts, analyse them then let them go of their own accord" or words to that effect.
I had just made a breakthrough and felt happy because the thoughts I was having were so negative that I didn't even want them to come to the surface, and the more I tried blocking them, the stronger they were coming back. So if anyone that reads this is having problems with bad, negative thoughts, don't worry, it doesn't mean your a bad person, it's just the ego doesn't want you to be free. The ego is fighting you, and it will use anything and everything to trap you.
I want all of you to know the truth. The path is difficult. Your always stumbling, but never fall. I didn't think I would overcome my hurdle, but I did and so can you if you already meditate or if your thinking about it.
One thing I will say. It's filled with excitement, because you are always thinking, what will come next.
If you want to know what the unknown is like before you think about meditating, then try some ianwaska/ianaska or some silacibin magic mushrooms. You need a lot of magic mushrooms to feel what happens to me.
I used to take drugs and the wrong ones come to that. I used to take hash, weed, ectasy, speed, charlie. They never gave me any spiritual awakening so leave those drugs alone.
Once you discover there are other worlds/dimensions out there, I guarantee you will take up meditating. I dicovered out of body experiences or awakening.
They are the most out of this world, staggering, breathtaking, enourmous, withoutout words to define.
Read my other post have only made one other, it talks of an OBE I had. I have had hundreds. It's only when one lets go of all beliefs that they start experiencing things that do not conform to this world. Silence your mind with intent and our true nature unfolds. Face the unknown with fear and respect.
The shamans, shaolin monks, buddhist and illuminati are on the right track!!
Budda bless you all.

I think there's a good chance you don't have to do anything like that. Cosmic forces are changing you whatever you do, and right now. If you feel tingly... thats it going on.
Re. The first post. Its a bit shattering initially when you find this stuff out and often followed by a mad 6 months going into everything. It settles down and its better to know whats going on. Be assured much of what is talked about is certainly real and can be proved. The outer-wordly stuff is fairly obvious and up to you how far you take it. Conspiracy theory is just an alternative point of view.

Yes I noticed this. Though I didn't feel the clicks in my brain. I guess everyone's different. What I noticed though in my body is this:
I could clearly see the veins in my palms when doing it. One time it even scared me because the veins in the palm of my left hand was just TOO VISIBLE as if my skin became transparent or something. I saw streaks of black (or it could be dark green) in the places where my veins are. Its just unreal.
It takes about six months of deep meditation before you notice any results. I'm talking about ten hours a day just meditating.
Ten hours a day? How can one do that if he has work to do and other stuff that are necessary to sustain one's existence on this planet? Like rent and stuff.
Personally, I meditate about 2 hours a day. As for the results, it didnt take me 6 months to feel that wind blowing thing you said. Took me as little as 2 days. I guess everyone's different. And I can speculate that there is a corelation between one's detachment from the world and one's success at meditating.
I've always felt a sense of detachment from this world. When I was younger I used to be always alone. It was a very miserable feeling. Imagine being in school and nobody to talk to because you just do not click or something. No friends. Same shit in my family. Their Catholicism doesnt really feel complete. Now I'm not dissing Catholicism. Catholicism is a great religion and rings some truth but I feel that there is something missing to it.
I might also say that one's success might be genetic. I have shady memories of inhaling smoke and a vision of a grinding bowl. You know, the stuff used for grinding herbs. I also have shady memories of drowning in a river.
I haven't ruled out the possibility that I have existed on earth hundreds of years ago.
I also havent ruled out the possibility that I have some roots in the stars.
However, I think the next challenge would be for me not to fall into the trap of arrogance. Ooh I'm so special right. Ooh...
And only the help of God could help me overcome arrogance.

Remember that.

thanks for the advice... definitely feel my soul is untouchable and will never be broken... but human bodies are pretty fragile. so dont really feel any safer atmo...
i am still unaware what the purpose is to my own, yours and anyone/everyone else's "awakening"... if there is a purpose, which i feel there must be. i have not yet fulfilled mine... until i have; i need to be fully functioning and as strong as possible (mentally and physically) to perform my task.
say for example, DAVID ICKE's purpose is spreading the truth about the world we really live in. what risks would he be running in doing so? who are/is the risk?
then for all of us experiencing a similar "spiritual enlightenment" maybe not yet fully aware of our purpose... what is it?
do we act for our own interests in the knowledge we have, or;
do we act in the interest of others and try to share the knowledge?

A few nights ago, i was in the bath reading (i've got 2 children its the only room with a lock on it!!!) i've been conducting my independent study into life, the universe and everything for about 18 months now.... i've never spent so much time in the bath !!!:o
I came over a bit peculiar, closed my eyes and felt the most bizaare sensation on the top of my head....like i was being pulled along by my hair. I was totally conscious at the time, being horizontal, as one usually is in the bath, i laid there thinking 'if i were lying on a skateboard i'd be flying along!!!
I've had strange sensations throughout my life (i'm 31 now) as a child i fell out of my bedroom window but floated down (honestly) and landed gently, i've jumped off a tree house and a similar thing happened, i'd have been 3 or 4 at time. I remember clearly floating above my bed, after some vigorous bouncing, and watching myself just hovering there in my wardrobe mirrors.
My experience in the bath was the first 'hands on' sensation i have felt in my adult life. Yes, i meditate, i can visualise, i can 'feel' the energies....but i have never been pulled along by my hair before!!!
Can anyone else identify with this....or should i lock myself in the house

Logic are you trying to describe me with your post?
Yup seen a lot of these symptoms. The hot feet are a real nause when you can't sleep for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There can be a lot of negative stuff caused when potent energy hits a blockage or when a development/ growth crisis occurs and I think this is what often turns people away or generates accusations that development is bad for you.
Visual phenomena have also caught me out a few times. It's a bit wierd when you are asleep then become conscious of a large snake moving around on the floor.
I have also had full blackouts twice with no obvious physical cause and no illness present.

I wouldn't be too worried about time periods as time is not an absolute factor. There are a lot of factors to growth, such as past ability, natural ability, good environment, etc.
I hear you about the childhood. Same here, and it destroyed me for a lot of years. Still, I guess it has prevented me from the herd mentality, forcing me to come to terms with myself to the point whee I am almost totally detached from any emotional reaction to the memories. I have never meditated for hours on end every day but have had good results just by using good methods. There are a lot of people who believe that prolonged meditation periods is really an eastern method whereas westerners, whose minds tend to be more concrete requires methods that break up the everyday thought patterns quickly to expose the inner self.

LOL, it made me laugh.
This man knows his stuff. If any of you out there think you are awakening spiritually, then answer theses questions!!
Do you meditate? Do you take hallucnigenic drugs? or deprive yourself of sleep?
1. Depends how you define meditation.
2. No, not if I can avoid it, and it seems I can.
3. Well, no, not on purpose, I just dont think the days are long enough to waste them by sleeping.
Are you saying you did these things on purpose to become awakened spiritually, or rather did your awakening cause it to happen?
In my case, and unless I am very mentally messed up, I believe I have awakened spiritually somewhat. The things you describe as things to do to awaken, seems to me more like symptoms of the actual awakening. Im not even sure if it can be stopped if you tried to, then again, I am quite sure it can be helped along.
Thanks for sharing your story by the way, and welcome to the forums :)

Read my other posts. To meditate is to be in a quiet place, free from noise, and be with your own thoughts without thinking taking slow deep breaths from the abdomen. don't listen to all the books that tell you to breath through one nostril, then the other. It's utter rubbish. The newbie meditator will go through the "this ain't doing anything stage" and give up before they have even started. I don't like turning round to someone and saying "just have faith" because I was sure after all my research that my life was missing something. I stuck at it and now I meditate without even thinking of it.
It's true, once you awaken, it can't be stopped and I would never want it to stop, the feelings, the spatial awareness, the pitches and tones and increased frequency ranges. One experiences the unknown in daily life, and it can be frightning.
Go along with all your feelings and just be the witness to those feelings, without judgement. This is how you overcome fear. fear is also a vortex that comes from the navel, and can be controlled and reversed. I still feel fear, but nowhere like I used to. It's totally possible to bannish fear forever, but to do that, one has to overcome their fears. It's not just fears you think you have, but a whole other host of fears, especially the unknown.
The thing is when you have lost the ego, nothing can harm you because you exist in the place of no thought. I love that place. Anything becomes possible.
When I was in the mental hospital on my third or fourth visit, the doctors gave me anti-psychotics for three days. I refused to take them anymore, stating to the hospital that I was no way in a psychotic state, and that for the three days they gave me the medication, I was not sleeping and my experiences were being blocked. I turned to the doctors and said "your taking my spirituality away from me". They agreed to stop the medication as long as I showed no signs of a mental disorder. It took me five days to get my experiences back again.
The thing I liked the most being couped up in the mental hospital was the other patients and how quickly they became bored. I was never bored and was always in that place of no thought. The hours flew past. to give you an idea of how I interpreted time, it was like this. fifthteen hours felt like a couple of hours to me. The only time I had problems in that mental hospital was when someone without even knowing it, would bring up my fear and I would have to start thinking about it. Then my mind would fill with thoughts I couldn't get rid of. It would take days for my mind to become clear again.
I was on two sections, a section two, which is a twenty eight day evaluation period, and then I went on a section three, which is a six month full security type detention. I was only allowed out with two members of trained staff. Top security place with three doors to get past that were swipe card operated.
Because I wanted to proove my mind was operating above the limits of the standard human mind, I asked for an E.E.G and a M.R.I scan, but they gave me a C.T scan instead. Because I was only on medication for anxiety, the doctors turned round to me and said "you won't be able to have the E.E.G and M.R.I scans if you leave at the end of the twenty eight day period (section two), so I was basically forced to stay through a section three just so I could have the tests. I wanted the tests more than anything so I stayed put.
For four months in that place I was with some pretty messed up people, with no anti-psychotics in my system, my mind was expanding beyond words. It didn't matter where I was, I was at peace and nothing made me unhappy, apart from my fear at that time. Let me tell you all. BLISS is inexplicable and once you've reached a cirtain threshold, nothing can take it away from you. It's always there. I spent about eight months in total in two mental hospitals on that visit.
My E.E.G readings showed bilateral operation and in my waking state I was in the alpha, delta and theta states with some beta activity. I had difficulty breathing after they got me to hyperventilate for sixty seconds and thought I was going to have an instant OBE.
If you read my other posts find out about hemi-sync. Find out about monatomic gold. Both of these tune your mind bilaterally. Most people operate either left or right brained, but meditation alters you brains operation.
I woke myself up and am still following the path because of the research I did, just like David Icke. It's time we all woke up.

Are you serious? so why did they section you? you must have been considered a danger to yourself or other people.
Do you still see any psychiatrists? although you may be sensitive to inner thoughts it would seem that your main problem was controlling your reaction to them, ie mind full of fears that you cant get rid of. Unless people can learn to control emotional reaction to inner stimuli then development can be pretty unpleasant.
Seriously batfink meditation will not put you into a mental ward. For that to have happened then you must have developed in an unbalanced manner. I have done plenty myself and have hit many crisis points but meditation really should be the factor that helps the cure not the problem.

There a many millions of people on the net looking at forums just like this. Too many to monitor with any detail.
Most people coming into these forums are not any real danger to the authorities and any people who would present a real danger would not put up a flag to invite retaliation. I mean if you had info that could prove without a doubt that some of these conspiracies are real would you put it up for public viewing knowing that somebody may turn up at your door or that you lose your job or a slander campaign is started against you which turns all your friends against you?
Also, although you call it research most of the sheep will just think your a fringe lunatic and the authorities would reinforce their belief, so that what you research makes little or no impact upon the general population.
How does David Icke survive you may wonder? he may have many thousands of supporters but millions of people either are not interested in what he says or just think he is mad. As long as this is the case authorities would have no reason to fear him. If his supporters grew a hundred fold in number, or more, to the point where the general public were taking a strong interest then you would see something serious happen. If you see somedoy in your street who shouts wierd things that seem unreal do you listen? until people listen then there is no threat.
Keep seeking and do not be afraid. Fear is the forerunner of failure. Fear is what keeps people locked into mental and emotional prisons.
I don't think that anybody reaches a conclusion about their spiritual goal by thinking about it. Deep inner urges can give glimpses as to what direction you should proceed, but proceed with discretion and never let blind faith or obedience to others be your master.

Marpat, put simply!! you have no idea what the mind is capable of!!
I thought my family were going to shoot me, so I baracaded myself in my room for three days. My mind made me perceive someone sawing the end off of a shotgun. I heard people talking about me, wanting me dead. Because of my actions, the police and doctors came to take me away.
No I don't normally see a psychiatrist, but for me to get a council house, my social worker has booked an appointment for march to see one.
Put it this way, I am more of a psychiatrist than the psychiatrist. They don't understand the mind. If they did people in mental hospitals wouldn't all be on the same type of medication. Anti-psychotics. They do this to put all people in a docile state, so they can be easily controlled.
Neuroleptics take away all your thinking capbabilities, you can't even speak about what you believe in because your mind has become like jelly.
You can't have a conversation with anyone because you forget what they were talking about. A person on neuroleptics becomes totally withdrawn from all activities. You can't sit still for five minutes because your always restless. You shake involuntary and can't control your body movements properly. You put on huge amounts of weight. Basically one feels like they are existing like a tree. One becomes a vegatable.
When you see the psychiatrists, which is all of five minutes, they ask you the same crappy questions. "how do you feel, have you passed water, how are your energy levels, do you hear voices". If you hear voices then they up your dosage. They don't in any way help anyone resolve their problems, all they do is give anti-psychotics that take away the initial problem because your mind no longer functions and can't remember, then they discharge you, but they make sure you are always having your injections of anti-psychotics, every week or fortnightly. See what happens is, if you stop the injections, your problem comes back after a month or so. Thats how long it takes for the medication to come out of your system. Your dopamine level returns to normal and all hell breaks loose.
The whole process is repeated and you get admitted again.
I have been through this process about six times. I'm not on medication because I outright refused to take it on discharge. It's been about seven months now and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, that my problem was a problem of the mind, and the mind only. If it wasn't for Suna the monk and the two books printed free of charge that he bought into me, I would still be in hospital now. We have to face our fears head on. My fear was unknown to me untill I unlocked part of the mind that bought it forth. I can't stress enough, the ego is a persons mortal enemy, and it does not want you to succeed. It will use anything to stop you in your tracks.
If there is anyone out there that meditates as much as ten hours a day, they will know what I'm talking about. Yes it's all easy to someone that can't put in the time and effort because the early stages do feel good, nowhere near as good as the latter stages. Meditation is the cure to all our suffering, but be warned, there are hurdles, and if you are thinking about going into this then read the right books or go to a buddhist retreat and pick up there free print books. That's where the truth is.
The only reason I'm posting on this site is because I now have the experience and I want to pass on my knowledge to all that are interested. I don't want anyone to go down the path I went with hospitals and medication. It was one sentence in all the books I read that sent me insane. I want us all to get to that next level of existence with least effort. Don't be fools, seek knowledge, wisdom and freedom.
Marpat, could you tell me what crisis points you stumbled across please.
Budda bless you all

Let me tell you this.
i have had the freakiest two/three weeks of my life. i crashed my car with my family in it because i thought it would do some good. in no way was i trying to harm anyone. Luckily no one was hurt. Basically i have had a psychotic episode and it was triggered by the realisation that 9-11 was an inside job. I am now back in my own country with my immediate family and i have an appointment with the specialist tomorrow.
I have no idea what to believe but i do know that i am a danger to myself and others if i dont get help. I did think i was Jesus by the way. And Neo and Luke Skywalker.
i dont want to go on any medication but i feel that it is an absolutely necessary step at the moment. I shouldnt even be on this bloody site right now probably.
I am feeling myself again but at the moment i am on diazipam (valium?) and zopiclone (sleeping pill). the doctors felt that i am acting rationally enough not to have to put me in hospital.
This is the truth. I am not making this up.
Before all this happened i had no interest in the supernatural/paranormal/religion/meditation/acupuncture/eating well.
all of these things are now beginning to interest me.
give me your thoughts!!

Batfink, do you really expect people to be meditating for 10 hours a day? most of us have to work so that you can get your mental health care for free.
I'm not trying to insult your but what you are saying really shows you are not developing in a balanced way. You may be seeing things but it is very clear that you are not in control of your will power. I do appreciate that some experiences can imbalance the mind but the crux of the matter is that to overcome these things you need to be the master of your mind. For someone to take away your freedom and give you a social worker really is not a good indicator of success.
To me it seems that your mind has become fragmented. When this happens controlling the reactions to thoughts and emotions is difficult as you may believe that such things are external to your will power or outside of yourself. What you need to do is try and integrate the different aspects of your mind and bring them under control of the will, and then I think you will be in a better position.
Judging by your last post I doubt you will heed any of this as it is clear you believe yourself to be superior to your psychiatrist and feel that I don't know what I am talking about but I have to say the above for your own good. Reading a couple of free books about Buddhism does not make you an expert and neither does prolonged meditation if it is not properly. I think it is improper that you are offering spiritual advice when, by your own admission, you are actually mentally ill.

It would appear there are a lot of 'crazy' people about.... hardly suprising really ;) I had a few episodes in my late teens/early 20s, nothing particularly harmful (well i did grab my mum by the neck and threatened to strangle her - which is pretty major - but after you meet her you may understand!) Most of my problems have stemmed from my abstract view of looking at the world....no voices in my head, no delusions (that i'm aware of.)
I've felt like this my whole life...its like i just 'know stuff'. Maybe my brain is just wired up to think pretty quick? But oh the times i've whipped myself into a frenzy at the sight of all the TV watching, rubbish munching and general ignorance/arrogance/violence. I'm fortunate to have a group of close friends, that have tolerated my eccentricities for years now and i'm much calmer since i learned to live a couple of steps back in my own space.
I'll tell you what i think is going on, forgive the clumsiness.....Most people seek outward experiences, the media etc...to reinforce who they are, humans are social creatures and they want to 'fit in'. Socio-economics is a huge factor in this and the mass media warps them again, a diet of sludge = no brain food and this seals the fate of the vast majority, ironically they want join the armies and fight?!?
The Posh folk? .. are educated to feel worthy and will do anything withing their power to maintain what they have. They believe it is rightfully theirs. Losing a few of the peasants is justifiable and even necessary to perpetual the 'higher humans'. After all if these lazy, layabout prols, can't be bothered to climb the social ladder....they aren't worthy!!! I'm thinking 9/11 here.
The freemasons are the embodiment of this...its my honest opinion that they wouldn't have the spirtual latitude to be employing some supernatural element in there war on the poor, for a start they dont have any women, or not real ones!! Incidently it seems nearly all our ringleaders are blokes...:p, but i'll save that for another day!! The majority of Freemasons are there to get a 'leg up' in business, or to have their parking fines mysteriously disappears on account of a knowing handshake from the local magistrates. The top level masons i appreciate are a different kettle of fish.
It seems to me that human beings have or have had all kind of 'superpowers', its the only reason i can think of for having such a big head?? There has to be a sixth sense...and probably a 7th, 8th,..9th??? Think there are snippets on info littered through are history that can probably help with this.. maybe there was an atlantis?...the perpetuated Horus/dioynsis/Jesus myths perhaps ring true for a reason?... i'm still totally undecided... but i think i'm getting closer to deciding i'm sure!!!;) In my less optimistic moments i think that its all gone too far and we are only left with the faint hope of saving the soul/s!
All i know is, about 18 months ago i started reading, researching and thinking with every waking moment.... and its a can of worms to say the least, my friends think i've turned into a god botherer, or a devil worshipper, or a witch since i've been growing herbs???
There i go rambling off into the distance.....

Marpat, I'm not going to argue with you, I don't care if you believe me or not. The reason I know more about the mind than the doctors is because I live in the mind and witness all the workings of it as it happens. The doctors only know what they know from books. What is the practical side of their training?
TABLETS, TABLETS, TABLETS. That's their cure. Their cure is to stop all the thinking processes of the brain. Now Marpat you tell me, how does that help anyone?
I saw the system for what it is and how it was hindering my spiritual progress everytime I went into hospital. The doctors have diagnosed me as a paranoid schizophrenic. You can all judge me as you see fit, and you have Marpat, by labeling me as mentally ill, it's only a label that doctors give to a problem they don't even understand because I stress they don't know the mind, they only know how to block the brain preventing the mind from working!!
Marpat read my other posts on this discussion. All I'm offering is the truth, that's all. I have nothing to win or lose. I already know what people think of me and I don't feel bad towards them in any way. It's too time consuming on the mind to have bad feeling towards people and whoever meditates will come to the same conclusion at a point in their practice.
Marpat, you still havn't answered my question!! what have you experienced as crisis points? share them with us all. I'm an open person and the only way one can experience the unknown in all it's glory is to suspend judgement.
It's peoples ignorance that blinds them from the truth. Know thy mind to know thyself!!

It could well be that I am wrong and that you are really a very highly developed individual who has been persecuted by the mental health people. Where do you believe you stand on the ladder of inner advancement? do you consider yourself an adept maybe? I know that I could not meditate for ten hours a day so perhaps I should be listening to what you have to say. Obviously I have to work so that is not an option for me anyway. Maybe you have been sectioned so that you could find the time to find yourself.

The energy?
I think it could be helpful to stand at areas of significance, leylines, stones etc and send loving energy through the grid/matrix
this might have an affect, afterall, 911 allegedly was an area of energy so that negativity travel through the grid affecting us all and I think they know that
what do others think?
I'm going to do it.

Did you read that in one of my other posts? I mentioned something similar the other day. Although I do think it may help to amplify the effort I don't think it is essential. If the mind is universal then it must be all pervading so that even if you are in your own room there is no reason why you are not one with everything else, except for the barriers that the human mind creates. What is within is without, so if you build up the the idea of radiating love within yourself with the intent of projecting it outwards then it will begin to happen.

Marpat, thanks for your reply. I didn't receive your criticism negatively. They are your views. I have learned to live in this world, but not be part of it. That's the trick you see. I consider myself (the ego) to be an advanced meditator, who explores different realms of reality with my full spiritual body.
I fly to these realms with death as my guide. Death has wings and clings onto me while we fly in and through different worlds and sceans. It's your desires that determine what you experience on these worlds. It's your desires that trap you!! That's why we have to let go of the ego and our belief systems because our belief sytem shapes what can be perceived in the unknown.
I am an awakened being. My goal is to become an enlightened being, but for me to become enlightened, I have to travel through seven gates.
To be awakened is to leave ones body and experience realities as solid and as real as this one we all currently reside in.
The realities can be indescribable and science fiction doesn't even come close to what is possible. We are in the matrix!!
I have learned to use the system to my advantage and that's why I can spend ten hours a day meditating. I have no need for materialistic things anymore and you discover it's all a trick of the five senses. I live on the very basics and am more happier now than I have ever been in my entire life.
I'm overjoyed that I have reached this level of awareness and gone through such a hard time to get here, but I wouldn't change it for the world. We need to experience pain before bliss can be obtained. There is FACT, more adventure inside us than anything in the five sense reality. I invite you all to come join me in those realms.
I will share with you another of my experiences, but words are useless in other realities. They cannot describe the true nature of meaning.
As I took flight, I realised there was a woman with me and mentioned to her to take flight aswell. She said "how do I do that?". I said "just imagine your lifting off the ground".
I waited, hovering about ten feet above her and was amazed how quickly she mannaged to take to the air. I told her that for direction, just imagine the same way and you will be directed in that way, all though it has taken me a long while to get the direction part sorted. She said "ok", and we started spiralling around and around.
There was this gigantic building we was going around, getting higher and higher. There were lights emanating from all directions of this building. The view was magnificent, and could see for miles.
Somewhere along the line we became separated, but can't recall how it happened. Now I was on my own, so I ventured around a derelicted area. When I landed there was this group of people.
A young person had a massively deformed face, and as I looked at this person, I imagined the deformaty vanish. Would you believe it, it did and that person became healed. It gave me the feeling of happiness.
One thing I noticed about what had just happened was that it was the thought of healing, but without the usage of words in my mind. Just like moving your arm, but without words in your mind.
Next, I walked for a bit and came across these other people. They seemed to be homeless and dressed in rags. One person came up to me and grabbed onto my shoulders and wrestled me to the ground.
I could not see the persons face because of a mask that was shielding it. Next I imagined without words that the mask dissolve. As the mask was dissolving I had the thought that this person was trying to read my thoughts because it felt like a piercing sensation in my mind. I'd never had that sensation before. I blocked all attempts and mannaged to dissolve the mask away. The man then let me be and withdrew from any further attempts of mind reading. That's how I percieved it.
Then I looked down on the ground and saw a computer circuit board all on it's own. I thought to myself, well, do I poses any other abilities?
I looked at the circuit board and with my right hand and outstretched index finger, I pointed at the circuit board and imagined heat coming out of my finger. A point on the circuit board lit up bright orange, red and was burning.
I then looked at the heat sink on the circuit board and imagined that it tellitenetically become removed from the board and it did with great force.
Next I extended my fingers of my right hand in a downward diagonal motion toward the circuit board and imagined sparks of purple and blue coming from my hand. It was amazing to accomplish all these things so I took flight once again, and using both hands this time, I pointed to the ground from about ten, twenty feet and imagined the sparks again and they went straight to the ground like lightning bolts.
I felt no heat, no electricity, no magnetic forces at all while carrying out these procedures. It was all quite fantastic.
I will answer any questions anyone has about spirituality. After everything I have been witness to I must admit that I no nothing of this world and it's mysteries. If I thought I did then all I would be doing is building another belief system that would one day hinder my advancement.
Real magic is ours. Train the inner you.
Budda bless you all

I didn't no but it's nice to see you think the same. I do agree with you 100 per cent. The energy will be all pervading although a boost it would be welcome.

Usually I would just link to this because it's a little lengthy but I feel this is too important and relevant so I'm going to paste it in full here. I have been experiencing many of these symptoms for a few years now, in fact virtually all of them as have many of you true seekers out there no doubt, this may help a few of you out.
lb
Mods: This may make a good sticky

Your body will adjust to the new pattern.
i've had this for about three years now. i think it does make it worse if you try to sleep more, especially in the late morning. its just not something thats easy to adjust to, particulary when you enjoy have good sleep for a least 8 hours.

Hello Stacie. Couldnt agree more. here is something i wrote on the newbie thread the other day:
Hello to all the new people. I am new too - and I have been through a very tough period in my life (to say the least) after discovering the truth.
I think I am over the worst of the trauma that happened in my brain when I first found out about 9-11. I think that(9-11), coupled with a lot of other stuff that was going on in my life tipped me somewhat over the edge.
I would like to offer a small word of warning about 'symptoms of awakening' drawing from my own personal experience:
The symptoms of psychosis are very similar to the symptoms posted as a sticky in the 'awakening' threads. If you do begin to experience all or most of those symptoms in a very small space of time (weeks/months) then it is most important to seek good professional medical advice as soon as possible.
My understanding of it now is that those symptoms may take years, even decades to manifest and do not all occur in the space of a week and a half.
Sincerely
drael

No!
The "symptoms" of "psychosis" are very similar to awakening/mystic experience because they are the same thing, the former with a negative and unhelpful label.
If your under the misconception that everything on the inside of you that you experience in "psychosis" is without meaning or content then you will label this "illness". If you are guided to understand that it is meaningful and provides insight, and use appropriate tools like mindfulness/centreness - then you will find "psychosis" a most useful and positive thing - it is the process of mystic illumination. There is a thread on this in the main forum, with an article from a jungian psychologist.
If u feel u need help from a doctor, your in trouble. What u need help from is a positive enviroment, with positive people who give your experience validation and help you with techniques like mindfulness and reaching insight. If u cant get that, u may end up with a doctor@ If so, get good at acting like he/shes right, and that its all just "nonsense" ;)
These experiences are not physically real, they are potent spiritual symbols and jungian metaphor. One should try and centre rather than react to them, and let insight come at a natural and confortable rate, like a flower opening, rather than trying to interpret overly heavily. A good walk, shower, sleep or feed helps this centering - being physically present and aware.
Once through such insight and awareness, wisdom and knowledge comes. Illumination. Things make sense, beome evident/clear. One is awake, as opposed to asleep, like most people. In this state, and even in the begining stages of the mystic experience, one does not want to be reduced to a lower awareness. The doctors here provide the opposite to what is desired. Maybe a good jungian psycho-analyst would be alright, but they are pretty rare in mental hospitals etc.

Not true drael. If that is indeed the case, then as a by product of my 'awakening' I accidentally almost killed my family and myself. That isn't very spiritual if you ask me.
If you experience any of the symptoms above coupled with anxiety and lack of sleep, go to see a doctor before it gets dangerous.
This is my opinion due to recent personal experience.

Hey Kitchenmatt... Symtoms such as these can range from many degrees of toxisity and the end result could mean a long stay in the hospital...If anyone suffers from these types of symptoms, they need to see a health practitioner at once and start a detox ASAP! My son suffered from candidias and it brought out depression, acne, couldn't focus and lost alot of sleep...infact when people who have candidias to it worst point, they will suffer with hair loss and even certain types of metels will affect them...Anyone can test themselves by getting a clean clear glass, and good water...first thing in the morning spit into the glass... your spit will do one of 4 things, if you have it your spit will either float, sink or stay at the top in a clump and slowly grow legs like a jellyfish...IF you dont have it your spit will disperse in the water...I would venture to say that about 85% to 90% of the population have candidias and dont even know it...I wonder on what authority who the bright one was that said these where the smptoms of OUR AWAKNINGS??? My awakenings began as a child when I had a entity come stand over me while I was sleeping...when I heard a voice speak and whisper into my ears...Awakening begins with our awareness of our reality and whats around us...NOT these symptoms...!! I WAS fooled initially and it caused me a LOT of pain. Although, I think something else would have triggered me anyway if it hadn't been this forum. Not true drael. If that is indeed the case, then as a by product of my 'awakening' I accidentally almost killed my family and myself.
This kind of reponse is quite common to the mystic experience, if one isnt around anyone who can offer guidance (especially in the modern day, in spontaneous experiences). The problem is because we live in a very literal/physically/logically oriented society, when these things happen we dont realise its a vision, we think its actually happnening. There is no knowledge or help here either. The symbolism of good and evil - usually represented by certain types of people, and a war between them is common to the mystic experience. If one takes this literally, and without any proper guidance, one can end up attacking someone or similar - very common in "mental illness". I did some unsafe/wrong things in my experience to begin with also, until i mastered mindfulness and control of the experience and went through it and gained some clarity. Ive seen plenty of negative energies/violence etc, and confused people in mental hospital trying to grasp their experience without help. Did u know that 60% of people with psychosis report "insight"? (that is they learn something...kinda weird for a disease huh??)
Without the proper conditions - 110% positivity/love, validation of experience and understanding of experience, as well as the tools of mindfulness and other "techniques", the mystic experience cannot be properly explored easily. Without going through the experience with these things, and exploring it, one gets nothing from it - and of course from that point of veiw, it will seem meaningless. The symbols and experiences you have been through need to be seen through the lense of symbolism, metaphor etc, to be understood. And if its seen as the medical model sees it, you will be discouraged from doing this - or giving ur experiences any thought at all.
If you experience any of the symptoms above coupled with anxiety and lack of sleep, go to see a doctor before it gets dangerous.
Or even better, learn mindfulness. They actually use these techniques sometimes in the mental health industry (although in this area, it is new - of course the east has been doing it for ages). It is about bringing the mind to a rest, the focus on the now, the physical - being centred. If you can master being centred and giving your mind a rest, anxiety and lack of sleep will not be a problem. That is your mind struggling to rationalise and understand ur experiences. Learning mindfulness is putting patience and stillness in, which is the only way to get comprehension. Thats paramount, for everyone, esp those with mystic exprience - u need to learn to control your minds flow, otherwise u will always be at its mercy.
Be aware however that much work, and ideal conditions may be required in some cases where negativity is very present - like strong instances of "schizophrenia". This is basically the result of wrong conditions. In these cases, seek the support of a _psycho-analyst_ (who works with the jungian model, and thus compatible with the experience), not a psychiatrist, try and get help learning mindfulness, meditation or yoga or similar. Avoid all negative people, or negative influence - scary TV, news, bad relatives - everything. A state of pure positivity, in yourself, enviroment and others will make the process much clearer. Live in the sacred, and in love/life as much as possible. Find someone to share love with. In some cases, where rights have been given away and freedom is no longer yours, you may still have negative influences - it may be hard to create these enviromental aids and get the right help. In these cases it may be hard to aquire the insight, and go through the process, and also to do so safely. An overly negative influence can throw you right off, and one HAS to practice some techniques and get some help in these situations. Of course such people will unlikely ever read this post!! but this is very sad to me. There was people i just couldnt help, and that sucked. It still makes me sad.
This is my opinion due to recent personal experience.
Indeed, as this is also mine. I went through "psychosis" in mental hospital twice, once a little over a year ago. Once in regular hospital, where they thought it was medical, and a few other occasions. I can now experience these sorts of seeking insight and visionary states on a more regular basis without any confusion or negativity. I am very very grateful to have had the experience, and to have connected with the one mind-reality. I am saddened by the mental health industry, by the negative effect on the patients and by the veiw that "outside" experiences are not valid or real in their own right - and similarly by society and its attitudes.
Of course with the pain youve probably been through, u may well not want to look at things this way at all...
Good luck to you either way :)

Firstly, thank you for a very comprehensive and interesting post.
I would really love to think that my recent breakdown was a mystical experience but it was just too scary and too difficult for me to go through. I was constantly walking a knife edge in my mind, trying not to slip into the abyss of hell on one side and attempting to reach heaven on the other. On a scale of 1 - 100 the experience generally had a fear rating of around 90 - 100 during the very negative moments. I couldn't sleep or eat. And now, the aftermath has left me feeling drained and I am away from my family. which hurts a great deal. I am currently undergoing a course of conventional psychiatric treatment and the meds are giving me some kind of attention deficit disorder (unless i take my valium, which i am reluctant to do)but they are also controlling my psychosis.
It has changed me though. I now DO have a much more open mind and interests about the spiritual that I would never have entertained previously. I can honeslty say that i do not want my old life back. I want this experience to be a stepping stone to a new level of being. I would hate to think that all the major suffering i had to go through has been for nothing.

Hiya!
I would really love to think that my recent breakdown was a mystical experience but it was just too scary and too difficult for me to go through.
Well i totally understand that. Often these experiences are so overwelming and the help so ineffective, and there is also stigma/misunderstanding - which is powerful. Much of the "trial" type stuff like good evil wars is like the hardest emotional stuff u can go through. I experienced the cruxification as one of my visions, and the typical "armedeggon war", which was horrific. Then if ur confused u can do wrong things, which is trauma and hard to accept. Some very hard stuff. The mind always takes time to intergrate and accept difficult things that happen to us. These experiences are very hard, some harder than others. Tricky thing is, its easier to accept something u understand. But if it doesnt feel right to look at it, it prolly isnt - maybe one day much later ull see a pattern, or on a deep level u have learnt anyway.
Trying not to slip into the abyss of hell on one side and attempting to reach heaven on the other.
Thats an interesting choice of words :D Where do you think the idea of heaven and hell came from?
On a scale of 1 - 100 the experience generally had a fear rating of around 90 - 100 during the very negative moments.
Yes, the fear can be profound indeed. One is very sensitive to all negativity around one also, "little" things can become nightmarish to the soul (like a slight burst of sadness, or a scary tv show). The soul is _very_ sensitive this way, and in the mystic state one needs to be away from negativity until one grows in "strength".
I couldn't sleep or eat. I was constantly walking a knife edge in my mind
This sort of struggle is also typical. The process is extremely taxing on the body/CNS and the rational mind struggles for an unacheivable understanding of the experience - creating loops etc. This is where mindfulness comes in. If you can stop the flow of thought, for a time, u regain clarity and can process the experience. I would highly recommend u learn about mindfulness, or meditation (a form of mindfulness), it will help in any future episode and in general (and can be used rather than drugs, which actually block of certain aspects of conciousness to acheive their effect. I felt they were like being shut off from god/spirit). For me, practicing mental stillness/presence/being etc set me free. I no longer take meds, and i never feel "overwhelmed" or "confused" with such experiences any more - im in control.
And now, the aftermath has left me feeling drained and I am away from my family. which hurts a great deal.
Im sorry to hear that, about ur not being with ur family. People can react strangely to you after "psychosis", theres stigma and fear.
I am currently undergoing a course of conventional psychiatric treatment and the meds are giving me some kind of attention deficit disorder (unless i take my valium, which i am reluctant to do)but they are also controlling my psychosis.
Meds. If it makes u feel safe, its prolly a good idea. Your scared by what u went through, so better to chill for awhile mentally. I took them for awhile. I was on olanzapine. It was like being severed from a familar aspect to my awareness - the sacred. Quite strange. And lots of side effects too, diabetes etc. I highly recommend mindfulness though, as a possible eventual alternative. I went off my meds with supervision, bit by bit, once i figured it could be mentally controlled.
It sounds like it has reached you already, if you are seeking new life and meaning. A new level of being indeed. You dont happen to suddenly see what has "life" and what "doesnt" do you? Re-analyzing your self and ur goals at the base? Just curious :)
I wish you the best brother. Rest. Be easy on yourself. Let go :) Be physical, be here.

I am very interested in a number of things you have said.
You were on olanzapine. So am I ! Firstly i was taking 5 mg but i have been taking 10mg every night for about a week now. It grounds (?) me but if i dont take daizipam on top of it, I get very skittish/agitated with a low attention span. Very horrible feeling. AND it is making me fat. I want to get off it as soon as is possible. How long were you made to stay on it for?
Am i now in a `mystic` state? And if so, do i have to keep clear of negativity at all times? eg, reading about Icke reptilians scares the crud out of me. Shall i avoid stuff like that for now?
started meditation last week and have been twice so far. it is Darmavaja buddhism. I am going once a week and we meditate for 1/2 and we get teachings from a monk the other 1/2. I am finding it fascinating. Should i go more often or should i try to do a bit at home too?
It looks like the family thing will be OK. Thanks for your concern:)

I'm not sure what you mean by this.
Before my breakdown i would not even entertain thoughts of a spiritual/supernatural/mystical nature. Though i have always tried to be a virtuous and good person. Now i am ready to learn and i currently have a very open mind. I also now know that I want to help in some way. I am quite well qualified:o but I do not intend (to put it lightly) to get caught up back in that world. I want to find something that has meaning and do something worthwhile. Is that the sort of thing you were asking?
Thank you drael - looks like you came along just when i was in need of some advice;)

They started me higher than that (15?). It felt like taking acid, i literally hallucinated. Then they reduced it. It was taking 10 mg, and then they "with convincing", let me go down, to 5 and now nothing. I made me (with serious insight going on) feel _nothing_ in regard to the inner sense. It was like having no soul. it also made me fat, still getting it off. It also has bad effects on liver, diabetes and more. Its a new and novel drug, action unknown. I took olanzapine, off and on for about a nine months?, until i just decided to be honest and leave it. Seriously peer pressure oriented stuff! U have to be confident, and make the psychiatrists happy to come off it. In reality, u can just stop taking it, its a free-will society unless your sectioned etc. But the 'help' will bother u for awhile about it, if u do, even if honest. Diazapam is addictive, so prolly better avoided. IMO, you should keep ur dose to minimal required for balance if ur out of balance and feel u need it.
Am i now in a `mystic` state? And if so, do i have to keep clear of negativity at all times? eg, reading about Icke reptilians scares the crud out of me. Shall i avoid stuff like that for now?
Only you would know that, i cant assess. I detect only a level of natural, though interesting, metaphor in your speech, u dont seem deep in any state from what i can tell. It usually lasts about six weeks or a few weeks IM experience, for the main part and then tails or bits and peices. Its hard to narrow down time wise. If uve had an experience recently, u may still be intergrating etc. You may still be sensitive and open to some degree, and so it may be wise to avoid any and all negativity for a time. Yeah if lizzies scare ya, avoid thinking of them in mystic states. Instead think of your favourite things, think of memories of light of love, of symbols, beauty order and unity - connect yourself to stuff. Keep it pure.
started meditation last week and have been twice so far. it is Darmavaja buddhism. I am going once a week and we meditate for 1/2 and we get teachings from a monk the other 1/2. I am finding it fascinating. Should i go more often or should i try to do a bit at home too?
I found just noticing things, like a picture and its details, or object, or a sensation/my body, or doing something physical quite good training in inner stillness. The important thing is the excercise of that "muscle". So that when one gets into a flow of experience, one can centre and control. Id say do a bit at home - this is a skill, like walking, so it must be learnt. I relate to more physical or sound techniques so far. I liked mantras, chanting, dancing, walking, acting physically etc. The important thing is to try and learn to control the 'eye' of the mind somehow, and practice like any skill so you can master it.
Before my breakdown i would not even entertain thoughts of a spiritual/supernatural/mystical nature.
Well thats a complete paradigm shift isnt it?
Now i am ready to learn and i currently have a very open mind.
You now feel open. no. 2!
I also now know that I want to help in some way.
Good/Meaning/unity/purpose- you want meaning in your experience.
I do not intend (to put it lightly) to get caught up back in that world.
What is without "life"?, what is "evil", what is without worth - that which pollutes the mind, the soul, the world? Sorry if that seems a little abstract, but there is a clear vision here and im seeing if i understand it...
Is that the sort of thing you were asking?
Yes absolutely. You just gave me a huge list of benefits of your experience :) Real things, real understanding. There is use in your experience freind, it is holding u to what is true.
Peace,
Drael

Hello you brave and wonderful souls,
I've found that when you focus on love and really believe in it, you can go into these hellish places (illusions, but downright convincing at times!) and face fear.
When I've been at the end of my rope, I've sometimes said something like, "OK, I KNOW we're all love and I KNOW that I'm part of that...so with those facts in mind, I'm going to safely explore this fear/'insane' idea of mine. I KNOW I can go back to remembering I'm love...it's like a trail of breadcrumbs." I guess I sort of make it a game, in a way. And when I do follow the trail back, my belief in the power of love is only strengthened.
It's like Mr. Icke's latest book, where he says that the most important chapters are the ones about love. The rest is important of course, but those are the present illusions. Love is constant. It's truth.
I hope it doesn't seem I'm making light of pain though. My father is "schizo" and my mother took her life. This led me to studying love (a survival mechanism, perhaps?), mostly through art and literature at first. I've just finished writing a book that is a "cultural" study of the words, "I love you," and am happy to say that after seven years of studying these three little words (cultural artifacts of love, which is beyond language), there is more love in the world than you'd imagine. Even right now, with all the crap.
Maybe I know this because I've worked on this project every day for seven years : ) If you're ever feeling down, please feel free to visit iloveyougalleries.com or iloveyou365.blogspot.com. My friends say they go look at the kids' "I love you" drawings or the "I love you" graffiti (the latter is turning out to be a global trend) if they're feeling down. People want to connect with each other. It's happening. We've just forgotten how, but we're remembering.
I have to also say, that out of all the books I've read about love (by philosophers, psychologists, scientists, medical doctors, you name it--I have an eight foot tall bookcase of books about love), some of the most eloquent writing on the subject comes from David Icke. He truly does connect all of the dots.

Thanks for your comments and welcome!
What is love? Here goes. All of this is subject to change even a minute from now (it always does, thank goodness!).
Love is when I let go of everything...all identities, ideas, worries, beliefs, distractions. When the noise falls away, I am infinite love. That is awareness. Then you see that everyone's true nature is love...and you start to see how you and others turn away from it. I can open myself to love this way, and let it flow to you.
I can't tell you where love comes from, exactly. I don't know if it comes from God, The Universe, The Creator(s). I don't know how I got here, what my life's purpose truly is, or even what this planet is. My only plan right now is to be love, to act from love, and remember. I think that the deeper you know love, the more you'll know the answers...because love is the nature of everything. That's how my life has gone so far, but it's just a theory!
Right now, I realize that for many years, I have been easily manipulated because I've looked outside of myself for answers. Sort of like this:
http://iloveyougalleries.com/usthem.jpg
We complain that we have no proper vocabulary to talk about love, but maybe that's by design: I think that love is hard to talk about because it's from a realm beyond words. Explaining love is like trying to explain a dream--maybe you get about 5% of it right : ) The word "love" is both noun and verb.
http://iloveyougalleries.com/lovemolecule.jpg
I realized I had to start someplace if I wanted to know love more. The words, "I love you," were my way to look at love because that statement is highly revered (and often manipulated), and I could actually "track" occurrences of it. Some would say "I love you" is a lie because the I & you ARE love...that there is no subject nor object because they're one. If we're using language to communicate, I think "I love you" is a pretty useful sentence.
I'm vaguely remembering a story in which a musician was asked, "What is jazz?" (or maybe it was blues), and he said, "If you have to ask, you'll never know." Maybe he meant that we have to find out for ourselves.
At school, every physics/art/music/sociology etc. class began with the question, "What is the-subject-we're-about-to-study?" Inevitably, the students were told to come with their own answers before the teacher announced that there was no one real definition. That no one really knows what "poetry" is.
So it always goes back to: you. What do you know?
Love!

First, hello to everyone :) This is my first post here. My english is not so good, so please, be patient with me ;)
My story is:
During the september of 2006. I had some very hard moment, because I was sure that I`m going mad. In the beginning of september I hade some serious energy disturbances, so strong that I thought my life is over. Finally, on 17. X. ( it`s an interesting date, because that day so called violet ray, according to some internet spiritual sites and alternative news pages, lighten planet Earth and raise human frequency on a higher level), I had almost 48 hours long energy ...something...My heart beats in incorrect rhytms, my head seams to explode, my breath was like I wreeze under the watter or something. I felt like someone put a energy bomb inside me and activate it. I had walk almost 12 hours because, I was afraid to stop, because I thought that I`ll simply fall down and stay down. It`s very hard to explain.
Anyway...since that day, my perception is...different. I practice before a different kind of meditation, reiki, some visualization technique but, nothing prepared me for this. This is like some kind of permanent "transcedental ampetamine" state and I feel like walking between dimensions. I see things differently than before, my feelings and thoughts are different and I feel a least anomaly in energy arround me and in me. I feel less physical. Some hours everytrhing seems to be "normal", than, next moment, I simply start to "fly away" somewhere, like I`m on some kind of drugs. I have a very hard time to concentrate on anything. I stop to drink bear and coffie and quit with cigarettes. It`s not that I want that..but....like on some level...I was forced to quit with anything. Even a small painkiller for headache, feels like I put inside of me a some kind of poison. All this time, expecially in first couple of months, I search on different metaphysical and spiritual places, because I was afraid..no...not afraid...terrify...what the hell is happening to me and where I`m going, because, it`s is obvious that something is happening and that I`m going somewhere. The most authentic theories (for me), was theories about spontaneos Kundalini activation or Shaumbra state of conciousness, and also theories about so called Fourth Density and frequency changes (iron age to golden age etc.).

Hello everyone, what great thread you all have here. I have found myself connected with a lot of the symptoms but I don't know if I'm awakened. This is because I've been depressed lately, mainly mood swings (like I'll be happy in the morning but then sad in the afternoon). I feel the need to get away from people who put me down and everytime I'm around them this depression consumes me. I've also realized all the mess in my life and of my relatives' and this also brings me down because I keep anticipating/thinking of bad scenarios that may happen in the future. I also feel alone many times and the closest things that connect me are people who I respect/admire and especially with nature. I also keep digging up bad experiences from my recent past, like trouble with my ex-girlfriend and trouble with friends/relatives. One last thing is that I think of the bad things I've done to people. I really want to get away from it all sometimes i want everyone to go away.
I'm in need of spiritual guidance and although I find myself experiences many symptoms I'm still confused about what really happening. I've also been thinking of getting into Wicca, metaphysics, or magic. Can someone please help me get my head straight? Also does anyone have any recommendations for books related to magic, spirituality, or philosophy that would help me heal? I believe i'm in need of healing but I'm confused is this just part of the transformation?
Thank you all for making this thread happen! With love and peace-Damian

I've had a lot of changes in sleep patterns. For example, several of months ago I would go to sleep early like 10 or 11 but now I'm a late sleeper and have a lot of energy during the night. Sometimes I go to bed very early due to lack of sleep. I have mood swings. Like I'll be happy then I'll be sad or angry out of the blue because I suddenly think of the negativity in my life. Then I go back to being happy within the same day and I kinda let go of the thoughts I had, but it's cycle. I also see a lot of "visions" like colors or lines of color when I'm awake or closed eye visual (mainly wierd shaped colorful figures and a lot of geometrical patterns. At night when going to sleep or in a relatively dark place, I see figures/entities like shadows, light, faces, or a sensation that something is watching or in my presence. Also at night I see everything outlined in blue for a couple of seconds immediately after i turn off the light in a room. I'm also not sure if i see auras because if I focus hard enough or sometimes it comes easily i can see a white outline over the person's body and only a few i have focused long enough to see mainly blue or other colors. I feel a great connection with the Earth especially in plants and trees, it's as if I can feel their energies or as if i understand them or their communication. I really feel connected with trees because they are so beautiful to me and as I always say or think...there's no war among the trees.
Those are the prominent symptoms I feel.
Than you once again

I sometimes use a breathing meditation but that's only when I'm under a lot of pressure or down. I have done but not in a while (a year), I've mainly experienced hallucinogens like peyote (with medicine man) and psilocybin mushrooms which had a great deal of impact on spirituality. I used to be atheist but now I believe there's a God or a whole energy due to a profound experience I had. And with trees I have recently (4-6 months ago) started to notice trees, plants, and animals in a different way. They seemed more alive and more interesting, almost as if I had seen them for the first time in a way. This renewed sense of connection/understanding with them. I say this mainly with trees because I notice them more than I used to. I feel like if they're telling me that they're alive and that they notice me as I notice them. There's just a stronger connection with Nature that amazes me and helps me understand my life or the cycle of life better.

You have experienced the halicinogens and one of the ones that matter. Try ayahausca. goto the amazon or brazil and do the ritual with the tribes people. never do it alone unless you know what your getting into. All i can say to you is meditate. what you experience with peyote shows you things you have never seen before. This is the lie we have all been led to believe. Meditation is the key to everything, but one must practice for long hours every day. Stick to it and more truth will come your way. You are greater than anything you could possibly imagine. Stay away from negative people. Meditation will calm you down and at the same time you will start to know who you are. I say stay away from wicca, magic and the likes, they will bring nothing to your life except confusion and missunderstanding. Do as you wish though. Go with what your intuition tells you.

Ask for help from your guides.

an awake person sitting and analyzing their being awake is a sign of their not being awake.

Are you ready for a "grail quest" that will result in a true awakening?
Humanity is being prepared for the next level of existence, which is based on the path of truth and justice, not money, politics, and religion. (http://grasping-the-microcosmic-quintessence.blogspot.com/)
Gaining wisdom is often symbolized as climbing to the peak of a mountain because mountains symbolize the relationship between a great body of knowledge (mountain) and the acme knowledge that permits the understanding of it all, as well as the ability to "see" other bodies of knowledge.
Visit any of my blogs (http://twocandlesticks.blogspot.com/) and read everything, including the other blogs, websites, and the Free E-Books.
If you are asking about awakening, you are ready for the quest. It won't be easy but the patient and humble will gain wisdom.
Peace...

Hi,
I know some of you won't believe in Tarot, thats fine, I don't mind. I sometimes dabble in using my tarot pack when I'm feeling I need questions answered that I can't quite answer myself.
I have felt a spiritual awakening of some sort lately in many ways. I worked in local government and have had to leave my job because I didn't "fit in" as they would wish me too. I have a brain and wanted to think for myself and that just doesnt wash with local governmental brainwashed idiots.
I am looking to sue for constructive dismissal but trying to find a lawyer that will go up against government is harder than you would think, as I am now finding out.
Anyway back to the tarot. I asked these questions to the Tarot today:
'What is going to happen to world soon?' and seperately ' How will we fair in this New World?'
The answer to the first:
The Strength card reversed, meaning;
"Indicates willpower to overcome adversity. Love over hate. Spiritual power overcoming material power."
Very relevant I think. I hope its right. ;)
To the second:
The King of Swords reversed, meaning:
"The probability of great disruption and contempt for the weak. An abuse of power and authority. A calculating, obstinate man, capable of utmost evil to achieve his aims and desires."
Either the Antichrist (if you believe in that) or a Fascist Dictator?
We're in for a rough ride.

Iv only just been discovering these things as truth, infact earlier today I watched a video on the mayan calendar (which I thought was bs before) that made perfect sense (first result on google video for the search 'mayan') and about half way through, I got the warm glow around my crown, thought it was just the weed but the symptom is persisting throughout today, anyway this is the first time iv seen this thread and when I read the second symptom....lol oh dear, so I have to fully believe to be at peace of mind, can do ....havent experienced any fear or negativity, to be honest Im embracing it as much as I can. The problem now I guess is retaining a grip on reality, trying to make the transition as comfortable as possible.
Will be taking a nice big dose of mushies at the Bestival this year, I don't need intuition to tell me its gonna be a pivotal experience, but the feeling IS there.

Hello all, this is my first message on this site so please bear with an old man of 63. My daughter first introduced me to the message of David Icke some two months ago and since then I have spent inumerable hours listening to David; Credo Mutwa and other extremely inspired people who have the gift of knowledge and the guts to impart that knowledge to whosoever will listen. As a small child I had the gift of seeing spirits of the departed alas this quickly faded with the advance of teenage years and is no more. My question therefore would be: how do we start to regain our other senses; how can we become aware and 'feel' what is 'the truth' and thereby begin to save ourselves from the prison constantly created for us by Big Brother? I would be most grateful for any help to free my (eternal self) from this alien bondage ...
Thank you. JP

Warm greetings my friend.
To simply answer, all that is required is meditation. When one begins to notice changes in their minds, they will want to understand how to deal with what arises. The only way to truly understand the mind is practice and correct information. My next bit of advice is to understand Buddhism. Buddhism gives all the tools neccasary to understand that we are not this mind or body. Abhidhamma, Tipitaka and Vinaya. Also read the four noble truths. Hope this is helpfull to your journey.
Be well, happy and at peace.

Hi JP,
Welcome, from a relative newcomer myself. I have been reading Ickes work for years but have had serious advances in understanding recently. I would agree that meditation is a great way to connect and increase your awareness. Also, don't assume your gift of clairvoyance is gone forever..it may well return as your self-development progresses. You are doing all the right things by reading and making contact with others who will all give you extra food for thought. It is always a personal journey and exciting and challenging too. Good luck and see you around here, I hope!

My thanks go out to the two respondents I have received thus far. To batfink010 I have read the material you propose and have tried many times to meditate, alas nothing ever seems to happen. I think what I really need is the mechanics of how to meditate; i.e. is there any special breathing / food / substance one should utilize or not? I have suffered with M.E. for eleven years and would love to attain a higher spiritual level and to be re-awakened to whatever is the real me. I feel I should also point out that whilst I believe that we are all a part of a greater consciousness or awareness I have no religeous beliefs - I am an atheist. Which probably stems from the fact that my father was a lay-preacher in the Baptist faith and my mother a spiritualist and never the twain did meet.
To cosmicstardust my thanks for your encouragement in the last two months I have read about and watched clips about David's Messianic talks and how he has been spurned for merely asking us to look at the truth, his meeting with Credo Mutwa a brilliant gentle man who has had so much sorrow in his life but still prepared to enlighten the rest of the world. I have also watched the 19 clips available on youtube on the truth about the illuminati - a lot of truths in there some of which I had reached the same conclusion years ago.
Once again many thanks to both for your encouragement - to others who may read this - remember it is not too late to search for the truth. JP

Warm greetings my friend.
To get anything out of meditation, one should not expect anything for around six months or longer. People expect things to happen instantly, but the truth is this. Would you expect to become quallified without first learning a trade? of course you wouldn't, so what makes meditation any different. Practice and time are all you need. I have am sure of it, given an example in earlier posts on this site on how to meditate. This is the way I meditate and it has brought many benefits to me. So please check out my earlier posts in the spiritual subjects. Here is a good link to very interesting information. http://www.bswa.org/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=4

I had a 'psychotic episode' also, and I ALSO had the sense of being a Christ-like/Messianic figure, as well as feeling myself to be the real-life Neo that The Matrix films were made to awaken (i.e. I was the reason for the films being made, so that I could come to know myself as The One). But while I had these thoughts, I also realized how ridiculous they were, and I refined the initial surges of ego-inflation. I understood the Neo experience to be universal, and the messianic sensation/aspiration being one which everyone should at least try to aspire to (Christ-like if not Jesus Christ particlarly).
I'm on medication, and because of the awful depths to which i sank following my episode, I also see them as neccessary at this stage of my life wherein I am trying to sober up after years of substance abuse, as well as trying to bild my life back up, go back to college, etc. I do have a big beef with the doctors telling me that I will have to be medicated my entire life--I don't think I could ever accept that, I know there are other methods for dealing with this--it's just that it's probably too early now for me to go in search of those other means, I've only been 'stable' for a year. Still, I often contemplate stopping the medication, and I'll give a quick illustration of my concern:
I used to love psychedelics. Mushrooms and LSD (and to a lesser extent, MDMA) were my only way of interacting with 'spiritual' forces, they were the closest I ever got to any sort of religious feeling. Now, on these meds, the effects of every drug I've done in the past are BLOCKED--coke doesn't work, opiates don't work, and most painfully, psychedelics don't work. The EUPHORIC feeling these drugs provide is ELIMINATED, and this causes me to wonder--is it not just drug euphoria that's blocked, but euphoria IN GENERAL? As if to say, these drugs lock me into a state of neutrality, where you feel no great lows and no great highs. This creates a distrust between me and the meds, and thus I daily give thought to weaning myself off of them. But I don't want to end up back where I was, obsessed with suicide but too chicken-shit to do it, lifeless and void of all creativity.
But there is a bit of hope I've experienced--For the first month and a half that my girlfriend and I started dating, it was as if all was right with the world--I felt energized, more excited than I'd been in quite awhile. I was certainly riding a 'high,' certainly I was existing in a state beyond commonplace neutrality. So there's some pro and con to my little medication conundrum.
I think it's good that you've triggered an interest in these more exotic and interesting things, this sort of stuff is ripe for generating a passion that the 'normal' attractions provided for the masses often fail to excite. I think you're probably right about needing the meds at least for now, as the incident with your family is a pretty big deal. It's a tough thing, surrendering to Big Pharma and Psychiatry when those elements of society have warranted themselves a lot of distrust. Try to stay connected to this stuff if you find that it motivates and excites you, if it feels right. There's a lot to be learned from 'psychotic' experiences, sometimes thoughts that transpire within them are actually valid and meaningful, not merely 'insane nonsense.' My episode offered a glimpse of my own potential that has only been rivaled by my use of psychedelics, and I guess the goal now is to get back to that place, but in a more balanced and sober state.
Good luck.

Here is a good link to very interesting information. http://www.bswa.org/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=4
http://www.budsas.org/ebud/ebidx.htm
Here is another that gives so much knowledge. Hope this helps.
Be well, happy and at peace always.
You may want to check out Naropa in Boulder, CO. Dr. Berliner has a nice video presentation of a meditation session for contemplative learning. Just sign in as a guest to the school and you may experience the virtual classroom. I recommend it to any seeker :)

Thankyou for posting. Thanks to everyone for your posts in fact. It is good to read because a lot of these things are happening to me.
I don't want to go out much.
Knowing that the old me has gone forever but sanguine as the old 'me' was partly or totally programmed anyway
My hands and feet have been burning for months now. I now have a slight type of psorisis on my hands and feet which made me laugh as I thought this was what the burning was down to - not something spiritual, but I've just read this post again and I see it mentions skin problems.
Weight gain......I know it's because I am trying to ground myself....looking forward to it all ending so It will go away again as I'm not sure if this is why I have been feeling very tired.....but not sleeping all the time.
A pleasant feeling in my back...up to my neck
A feeling of sexual arousal but it is different from the norm.
A presence around me around a year ago (negative) but it pissed off because I really was not frightened.
One day I looked out the window and saw faces everywhere in the clouds. I understand that as humans we tend to do this with patterns ....but this has never happened since when I look at clouds...yes I can see mild face patterns...but this was really really clear that day.
Impatience and anger sadly...
blurry vision
But it is extremely positive overall. I am happy I have woken up.

i have had these sleep patterns recently and also tingling scalp is this a sign that something is hapening to me ? if so what? i would appreciate your thoughts and what i can do about this.

a tingling scalp can be crown chakra activation, if you have been meditating a lot or following some kind of spiritual work this can sometimes happen,
the only problem with these types of "signs" is you can almost start seeking signs and becoming attached to them,
Its a good idea to become familiar with the chakra system as its quite a good guide for different emotional , physical and spiritual signs and also as a guide for grounding yourself if you feel you are becoming a bit disconnected,

I have most of these too. Especially about the different form of sexual arousal and pleasant feeling in my back. Also tingling in the top of my head.
But these experiences can differ. If I am allowing of them, they come as pleasure. If I resist, they usually get stuck, or come in as pain.

Hey anyone reading this can you reply I'm new to this but I believe in it. I was watching the Credo Mutwa files over a 4 day period which I highly recommend viewing. The third day of watching i went to bed and after 5 min of thinking I began to close my eyes and sleep and the weirdest thing happened you no that tingle you get in your head well amplify that by 100, it felt like something was sucking or entering my head and this happened in 4 bursts one short initial burst, then another like the first, then a long one lasting about 10-15 seconds, then one final short one. when these strange bursts took place I couldn't move at all no matter how hard I tried WTF??? I wasn't scared at all and can not make any sense of it was that my awakening? I was kinda skeptical of these video's but after that happened nothing would surprise me any more. things don't tend to scare me like before and am a lot happier since then. I never thought the term awakening that these movies indicate were actually physical experiences but more of just a saying. I have been drinking excessive amounts of water which before was just pop or sweet things and am now philosophizing every thing and have much stronger emotions at which some things can make me tear up at can someone shine light on this situation?

Hi, I'm new to this forum & glad I found this:) I can relate to all the symptoms in the first post, what I'm am also getting is very weird, I seem to be having what I can only describe as an OBE but it is happening while I am going about my everyday things, suddenly I will be doing something and realise my conciousness is outside my body watching what I am doing. It only lasts for a few seconds at a time and then I seem to be jolted back. Has anyone else had anything like this it's quite freaky!

You will find a lot of similar themes when it comes to spiritual awakening and obe's seem to be fairly prevelant,
If you are going through a particularly turbulent time , try and keep fairly grounded , fresh air , walking in the country , gardening etc ..
You will find plenty of people here who are on similar journeys, so dont think you are alone..
tales from the time loop , gives a good description of david Ickes awakening, and I would also recommend "spiritual emergency" by stanislav grof as a good reference book :)

There is nothing to fear.
You are unfolding as you should.
My advice is not to strain to become 'Awake.'
You are awake, more often than not it is the sleeping mind, (The conscious mind) which holds our attention.
By not being overly drawn into the dream of life we call reality, or unduly effected by it in a negative way. Our awareness becomes clearer, just as the clouds obscure the sky, the conscious mind obscures your true unlimited awareness.
Best teacher I have ever had showed me to become still, find the gaps between breath, and don't foul it up by thinking.
If you do think during a moment of stillness, don't worry. Thinking..'I just thought, and it broken the moment.' leads beck to conscious world mind.
Its a tricky thing to get used to, because our minds are the ones which cloud the sky. Just remember to let the clearing come, and when you make the time to be still, then you will know that in every moment, every single moment of your existance, you have been right there, unlimited and beautiful.
Love to all.

About 12 years ago (1996), I went through a period of what may be called spiritual enlightenment...At least I think so.
(I nearly made it out of the 'system' too!)
During this period (in which I was trying to write a novel, which I must note is - I'm still writing... - about existensilism and the fact that I was so ANGRY that I simply couldn't be the person I wanted to be...I couldn't describe that person, let alone begin to personify them), I had some strange dreams, which were extensions of 'scenes' in my novel (no surprise there). But the nature of the dreams was what really puzzled me: Two things in particular.
1. I dreamt that the US govt. would turn the earth on its side, putting the two poles on the same latitude as the present equator.
2. I could not get the word 'Ba-ra-ka' out of my mind. The word appeared, by itself, in a dream.
I tried to compare the two thoughts and see if they fitted together. Unfortunately, I could find no such connection.
I told myself that the earth being tilted on its axis (particularly with human intervention), was just a crazy thought (dreams are like that too, sometimes), and although I know that all thoughts/dreams have their own reasoning and basis somewhere, I just couldn't work out how that could be possible...even with a wide-open mind and a very fertile imagination.
Ba-ra-ka, (since I was living in France at the time), I put down to the French word 'baraque' (barracks), which, informally, also means your house or 'abode'.
I alternatively thought of Ba - Egyptian spirit of the personality, Ra - sun-god and Ka...'divine' or 'creative' spirit.
Egyptians - pyramids - houses (baraques)....It all made no sense at all.
(I'd make a crap seer, wouldn't I?).
Now, twelve years later...it's all starting to make (a little) sense.
Egyptians - pyramids - Barack - illuminati (earth, as we know it, completely displaced).
I can tick several of the boxes mentioned in the first post of this thread (along with a few of my own), but that doesn't surprise me, given that I've always been seen as a little eccentric.
The main symptom I have now is a feeling of intense nausea when reading/viewing material exposing the system that is all around us. I can't (and don't want to) stop though, as it is very important...even if it is all a bad dream / imagination gone wild, dreams, thoughts and imagination all have to have some starting-point.
I have to say that if something like enlightenment is coming then I embrace it. I'm a bit worried about my wife though...how do we begin to describe what we've discovered without scaring people silly? (Fear is not a good emotion to accompany a conversation like that, I'm sure you'll all agree). And what of my daughter? She'll only be 8 in 2012...how can she hope to be 'enlightened'?
All food for thought.
Comments appreciated...

Hi rhc,
just as luck? would have it, I happened upon your reply to one of my posts that I made at the beginning of this year.
Thanks for the insights and encouragements.
I wonder if you are still around.... I am coming off the medication RIGHT NOW and I have plenty of info/links etc if you are interested in doing so yourself. of course I have no idea what happened to you or your symptoms so I certainly wouldnt presume to know anything. BUT there are people out therewho SEEM TO know their stuff.
Even after listening to all the advice, I couldnt grow the balls to kick the meds without the consent of my shrink....
You are RIGHT. The medication turns you into more of a robot that you ever were before. unable to really feel anything. Im currently waking up from that experience. Im a little sensitive to everything and a little nervous about what real emotions might feel like.. i seem to have forgotten:D
Cheers dude;)

One man's illness wound appear to be another man's......spiritual awakening. Depends on your current reality/point of view. 'The Stormy Search for the Self' by Stanislav Grof puts forward a good argument for certain types of awakenings/illnesses being spiritual rather than just a 'chemical imbalance'.

Thanks so much for this!
Most of this happened to me this year. I got struck by a huge physical and mental 'illness' that slowly turned into what I now recognise as a spiritual awakening. A physical and mental transformation has taken place for me.
My journey brought me here, amongst other places. The peices in the jigsaw now fit and I now know that I am far from being alone in the truth I am seeking and finding

sounds more like an awakening to the mind control upon them and breaking the code .
sudden syndrome of mind control cold turkey .
its what happens when the mind suddenly frees it self from the prison and is able to expand and grown , thus the body also reacts .
could also be a sign of gang stalking .
but im not counting out the spiritual equasion either .
probably all 3 are in play here .

A lot of those paragraphs apply to me. This awakening has certainly been a spiritual journey. When I first felt the Holy Spirit enter me, it felt like air entered into my body through the abdomen. I felt like I was Jesus, but couldn't believe that. A few months ago, I got some strange symptoms. My eyes kept swelling up, getting red, and eyelids produced white flakes and scabs. This is still going on. I also used to get really nauseous, and even threw up for no reason a few times. That has passed. Now, I have strange red sores on my wrists and face. Almost every night, I have very intense dreams and visions, and have been astrally attacked a few times.

The first "spiritual and physical" feeling I ever experienced was in 1992 when 3 christians prayed for me or exorcised me.
Let me try to explain - my brother the "born again" christian instigated this.
I was only ever reading peoples tarot cards for free to help people but these 3 christians got it into their heads I needed to be prayed for and they all put their hands on me as I sat bewildered - but I've got to say the fire I felt in my boots was so real to me I looked down and saw they were not on fire and the flames that spread through my body were hot and continued to flow aroung my arms chest and neck until it felt like my head would explode, the heat left the top of my head and off toward the ceiling in a continuos thick stream of molton lava for several minutes. They expected me to be able to talk in tongues afterwards but I didn't even know what they meant by this then. They said I'd been "cleansed by the holy spirit" and would now have a gift to share/use. They scared the hell out of me and I never returned to them or my brother.
Since that event I have always had "affirmation" a feeling of warmth all over my body when something I read or say or hear is right. I hope someone understands this.
In Canada in August I had a very strange experience "a vision" bright light and a ritual dance, drums, smoke, native indians singing and no matter how many times I went under the covers they were still in the bedroom when I looked back!
It was around the 13th-14th August and the moon was so full and large the whole bedroom filled with light and the place was called Midland, Ontario very near a place called "sainte-marie among the hurons", those images will never leave me - later that month staying in another place called Erin, near Acton, Ontario, I found myself in an underground room no windows and felt a presence and I said to myself "what am I supposed to do?" and when I returned to England from my holiday the whole finding David Icke website etc... began
I know I have to learn to meditate and I'm trying to awaken people - ain't easy when they're comatose and I'm the only one in my whole town awake.

What is making you feel suicidal?
Do you think it may be reactionary depression or organic/clinical?
The difference is tremendous - I myself suffered with depression and had many thoughts of suicide but I just knew there was a light at the end of the dark tunnel - I knew I would be healed in time.
I found at some point that I felt very sorry for myself and would weep thinking "poor me i've had it tough".
"I cried because I had no shoes.
Until I met the man with no feet."
I knew somehow, deep inside I had something to do - I am becoming a more whole person.

The alignment in consciousness I have been feeling has been nothing but positive and centering, if you are feeling bad or uncomfortable it doesn't sound anything like being "enlightened", in fact just the opposite.
Enlightenment for me means letting go of the things you do not need to be concerned with and letting the Universe do its thing regardless of the consequences. Sounds more like you are further adding to your problems, or doing something you really don't want to be doing, like living in an area you hate or job you can't stand or even your current relationships, or dare I say it, the nature of the very things you are reading and paying attention to.
These things manifest in stress, and sorry to say but reading about conspiracies 24/7 can do just that, in fact conspiracies actually serve a purpose in clouding consciousness for a lot of people, some times I think the ptb do things in such a sloppy manor to tempt people into focusing their time in a maze of spiraling negativity, only to walk the "Elephant" right by them.
You cannot control anything outside your own body and that can be stressful to fully comprehend, the good thing is you don't need to control anything, in fact realizing you are not in control of the world around you is very enlightening in itself.
People are feeling like we all have purpose in these days leading up to 2012 and that purpose concerns nothing and no one outside the realm of "You" there will never be an enlightened hero that saves the day, that is the trap of the past, Ego!
The enlightened person is fully aware of their presence in the Universe and is willing to let it guide them. You have to be the one to solve your problems because no other can do it for you. You can by all means ask for support but the end goal can only be had by your own thoughts and actions.
No matter how minuscule the life form or even inanimate objects, all have purpose in a Universe that they were created from and for, we are no different.
I do know one thing for sure though and that is the further off your own personal "righteous" path you go the worse and un-centered you will feel, make a change in your life for the better not just for the sake of change. Be productive and remember to balance the negative out with a little positive now and again.
This forum is full of energy sapping threads that are pointlessly dealing with a crime committed by those you have no control over and who will never punish themselves with the very power structure they created in the first place.
If I am honest I didn't agree with most of the points of the first post, as they are only one point of view, that cannot and will never be the exact same for anyone.
Just remember even if your on a desert island by yourself in the middle of the ocean in a horrible storm, your still never ever alone.
Until you lighten the load you are carrying you won't ever know enlightenment. I am not a religious person by any means but I have to quote those who said "The kingdom of god is within". That's all you need to get by, "yourself". Through yourself you will find oneness, it doesn't exist anywhere else but inside.
Course this is just my own point of view also but hey everyone has their 2 cents these days.

In a sense it's even natural in this world.
It seems to be the case that "they're" trying to break everyone by 'overload', making one losing direction. It can be very annoying, even painful but goes away when countered properly.

The only power "they " have over you is your fear of death, every belief structure they make is based upon this. Neither their silly little religious gatherings nor there mind control whatevers can affect you in the slightest if you are aware of your body being nothing more than the current shape "your" consciousness has taken.
I will bet that in childbirth you probably thought it was the end of your 9 month long life. Fear probably gripped us firmly and we are kicking and screaming at the cards we have been dealt only to be reassured by being handed to your mother that holds you with unconditional love, after of course the son of a bitch that slaps you on the ass hands you to your mother....lol.
The last thing I want to do is tell anyone they are wrong to believe in whatever they choose, but there is a catch to that. When I see someones beliefs making them miserable and unhappy then I will say your belief system is bullshit.
Alex Jones revels in anger at these people but he is 100% powerless to stop it, he can and does nothing, do you honestly think that these power hungry aholes are going to stop because there are 10 million people peacefully demonstrating on the streets? not a chance. The same result would come from 10 million rioters on the streets. I have listened to Alex Jones quite a lot and I get very negative vibes from him. He loves the fact that he freaks people out, he eats it like candy.
Even Icke who none of us will say isn't a brilliant researcher because he is, He has had his life slandered unjustly but now through "us" he has been raised above us all like the very thing he was slandered with in the first place, ironic. If all was right with society do you think he would stop writing books and giving lectures? I still think he has a good heart, but remember all power corrupts and no one is immune to it.
I am going to have to share a google video that I saw that simply deflated my anger enough for me to see clearly who I am and where I am going. I don't hold the guy in the video aloft like some would hold Jones or Icke aloft cause he says nothing negative against no one he has no enemies and that is a voice to listen to.
People think they are losing their minds because of the Illuminati, well this guy is using the Mayan calendar correctly for the first time in our "civilized?" culture and it is truly consciousness expanding. The Universe itself is speeding up its consciousness, it follows a natural plan just like everything else. That plan will be complete in Oct 28th 2011 (the actual end of the calendar). The end goal is for the Universe to be self aware, through every single atomic structure the Universe has been trying to determine the thing we ask ourselves on a regular basis, "Who am I". Every time it has a breakthrough it builds upon it and the process takes another layer.
It also has to establish right and wrong and guess what? it is using who we feel is evil to do just that too. No one can be blamed for their actions because they are the actions of the one consciousness. Bush is not to blame, the bankers are not to blame, you or I are not to blame. We need them like they need us, after things "Naturally" develop stability do you think the Universe will need another Bush or cheney ever again? nnnope! done that got the T shirt.
If you feel like when the time comes to fight the good fight and there are 2 million soldiers all expecting a horde of angry peace demonstrators armed with placards or even house bricks, hand guns and the odd rocket launcher, yet they will be armed with the latest in crowd control nerve agents and crowd tasering technology.
When all those soldiers and cops are waiting there with a grimace on their faces ready to pound the shit out of these "un British" or "un American" demonstrators and defend their commanders with honor and valor, how do you think they will feel if no one shows up?
They will look back at their handlers and they will think to themselves (and maybe for the first time) that the people pushing their buttons are paranoid and very misguided. An army with no one to fight is a useless army.
I will remain in my home and I will simply ignore all the laws that are absurd in the face of nature and humanity and if they want to arrest and shoot me then that's my time to go, I will go on my feet with a smile knowing this is the way it has to happen.
The less you fear death the less controllable you are, this is "the only" and "your only" weapon against this kind of brutality that think they hold all the keys to human consciousness.
The mind itself is basically the ego, it can only sway your choices, once your choices are made your mind plays no further part, its your intuition that takes the reins because it functions without thinking and without doubt, your intuition has a direct line all the way back to the source of all consciousness. That is the line they must block in order to control the masses and these mindsets that block the way are only paper thin, they may be scary to observe but without a fear of death you can walk right through them. Then you are complementary to the life you have been given, then you will share in the power that has been waiting for you since you were last born.
There are no accidents and there are no coincidences, no big bang theory and no parasitic lifeforms feeding off you. There is only energy and lack of energy, we have around 50 trillion cells that make up our bodies and if you send them the right kind of energy they will react as one.....namely your true self.
Go to google video and enter "Ian Xel Lungold" and watch "The Mayan Calendar comes North" Parts 1 and 2, and just think about the information and if it resonates with you then good, if not then you haven't lost a thing anyway.
Another great person in the breakthrough of truth is "Bruce Lipton", watch anything you can on this man his simplicity is very refreshing for a biologist.
And finally Nassim Haramein who did what Einstein couldn't, tie everything together with a unified theory. This information is getting more and more mainstream everyday, these guys have proof of what we all feel deep down is true, that we are so much more than our bodies and minds.
@fromthatshow
The only advice I can give you friend is this, The Universe through its own evolution has provided you with a chance to better the whole of consciousness. You are the final stage of a planet with all the emotions needed to care for the planet and everything in it. You are not worthless, you are a living thriving community of 50 trillion cells all looking to you to just say the word and they will work their little asses off to provide you with the best experience possible. You have to stop listening to people telling you about your doom and start listening to those that will gladly hold your hand through anything the Universe has in store for you. Everyday has infinite possibilities, do not judge tomorrow on what happened yesterday. Your life has meaning or else the Universe wouldn't have bothered making a place for you within it. I'd also like it if you stay too and I think we all can agree on that. Stay positive Stay Calm and stick around, it might just be worth it ;)
Peace all, and totally sorry for running off at the fingers, the wife never lets me get a word in....:D

I have been feeling more awake/assertive than I have in over 20 years - it all started on 5 December 2008 no idea why i just woke up that morning and felt different - although at peace still knowing there was something I had to do for my children and myself - strange feeling but a most happily accepted one given my life before this :)

Good for you debs, the more the merrier!
I've seen over 1000 join this forum since I did - critical mass I think.
@branjo
There are lost of us at different stages of awakening. And "enlightenment" I'm assured just arrives - it cannot be gained or sought for the ego.
Some of us are truely shocked by how different we feel inside, some have been traumatised during our lives and the awakening is a strange but wonderful "peace" from nowhere. Some may have always been in a relative peace. Lucky sods!
I heard a preacher [not my brother] say that God [creator] leans on you to test you and strengthen your resolve.
An Irish saying is also "trouble comes to those who need it".
Personally, I'm in flux stage still - but as the days progress I am troubled less and at peace most. :)

Couldn't agree more, I had to realize too that people who aren't ready to be helped can't be helped. Just like I myself have learned a hell of a lot from the people here who can be patient with newcomers and respect the path they are on, whether that be in front or behind we all need to have a little patients with that person because they are trying their best, and that is the most important thing of all.
When we are all on the same road ie "Progression" the distance traveled means nothing really, it isn't a measurement of more or less because like what you said there is no "ego" on the right path. If we are all traveling in the same direction that is just what the doctor ordered.
