This is Charles Galton Darwin's shocking book The Next Million Years (1953) which is a study of the sociological implications of the population explosion from an eugenics standpoint. Being the grandson of famous Charles Darwin, his attention turned to issues of population, genetics and eugenics. In this little known book talks about dictators modifying human genes with X-rays, injection of hormones and behavior modification. The author suggests that our rulers will have to make decisions for us as all resources are "limited". His conclusions were pessimistic and entailed a resigned belief in an inevitable Malthusian catastrophe, therefore he suggested that we should simply kill off the "useless eaters" to preserve the rest. Find out all about these and other "interesting" ideas from yet another "fine" example of philosophy of eugenics which has killed millions and will kill more in order their utopian dream of a perfect breed will be acomplished. 200 pages. A must read for everyone.

Good post. DNA is, after all, an expression of an energy form. Any external energy source (X-rays) can alter DNA.

Like Scrooge said about Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carol": "If he's going to die then he'd better get on with it; and reduce the surplus population!"

It's a sad indictment of our society when we measure a person's worth by how much he or she can produce materially. If someone can't spend their life chained to a factory machine then they're no good!
