Hey!

I have been reading the list by the Codex Alimentarius Commision of food additives. There are hundreds of chemicals listed, both natural and synthetic. I dont have the time to click every single one on the list and go hunt around and research the negetive affects. So If someone could have a glance and see if they recognise any dangerous chemicals that I could add to a list on a leaflet im making, that would be a big help, cheers.

Can nobody find at least one dangerous chemical in that list other then Aspartame or MSG?

Problem with the Codex isnt about what is dangerous to eat. The problem is the quantities they allow of the good additives compared to less nuitricious ones.

It will make GM food easier to get on the market, and good health supplements would not be allowed for containing something that has too much of an additive that actually isnt just one additive. There are some that have more than one type, one being unhealthy in a small quantity and another healthy in bigger quantities, but both get the small quantity as their limit.

At least that is what I have heard, and I dont remember the details.

Yes, I'm aware of this, they are also pushing for patented organic seeds. Adding unnatural chemicals such as Ethylene to artificially induce fruit and veg to ripen as well as watering them down with sulfur dioxide and sodium nitrate which are known carcieogenics to further big pharmas "profit with disease.

The reason I created this thread was to collect a bigger list of dangerous additives in foods such as Aspartame.
