There are no such thing as side effects from a drug - only the effect of the drug on you. There is so much subliminal messages in our culture that when we take a drug and experience a bad reaction to it - we blame it on ourselves - ie, we must have had a bad reaction to the drug.

I hope everyone realises that some drugs manufactured during research, after the guinea pigs reported something else - was then created and sold to be a "wonder drug" - Viagra being a case in point.

I want to banish the words of "possible side effects" from all prescription medications; and replace it with: "Effects of this drug may include the following".

I was reading this document* and it made me mad because even though it was against SSRI's etc - it still classes symptoms of the drugs as SIDE EFFECTS.

Also; to use the drug paroxetine as a case study - if one looks into the studies done by Klaxo Smith Kline and how hard it is if one has a bad reaction to the drug to follow it up; you will be astounded. Panorama broadcast two documenaries on this drug re suicide etc and the response from the KSK head member made my skin crawl. I can't remember the weasel's name or designation but it will regurgetate on me at some point I'm sure.

Happy researching people and if you have an idea how to get this into legislation then please do so!
