this is a story an 8 year old girl i know gave to me today to read. enjoy
SEA SHORE
One bright and early morning, Tom and Alex decided that they should go fishing. They had a small red boat waiting for them on the shore. They heard seagulls calling. As they were walking along, they could feel sand rubbing against their feet. When they set off, there was just a little rain. As they got away from the shore they soon heard crashing of thunder. The waves smashed against the rocks, and rocked the boat from side to side.
When the storm finally died down, Tom and Alex were shivering. "where are we" Tom asked. Alex didn't reply, he was too busy trying to see overhead. He saw a mysterious object through the fog. It was old SUDDENLY they saw a dirty man , with a beautifully coloured parrot on his left shoulder. Soon there were more gathering. The man had black teeth and ripped clothes. THEY WERE PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. As soon as the pirates saw Tom and Alex the captin demanded them to stop. They came to a halt." You are the cabin boys." the captin shouted . The boys were shown what to do, by a boy about their age, who 's name was Andrew. " This is the Goosey Gander" he began explaining.
Later down in the boys room, out of the pirates reach, the three boys were talking." Andrew please, we got lost and we need to get home," Alex said, determined to get home." Ok, ok, we' ll leave tonight" he replied, giving in. The two boys were very happy. They were glad that Andrew agreed.
Late that night Alex, Tom and Andrew tiptoed, trying to not make a wooden plank creak. They soon got to England. They soon said their goodbyes. "No more adventures?" asked Tom, hopefully. Alex laughed. "No more adventures" Alex replied.
