According to the Oera Linda Book, Jesus, Buddha and Krishna were all names for the same person, who was born in Kashmir in 594 BC, and whose teachings were later deliberately distorted by the priests who claimed to speak for him. The passages in question can be found here http://frya.angelfire.com/4frethorik.htm#_Chapter_V:_Hail and make for some interesting reading. Also included is a prophecy that the power and authority of the princes and priests will begin to be overthrown from 1807 onwards, but it will take a thousand years before they're completely gone.

The Oera Linda Book is a well-known work, with various translations existing since the 19th century.

Carry on with the thread although I doubt the answer to this question lies within the pages of a 19th century book.

There are those who believe the book is far older, and quite possibly the oldest book in existence.

That's real neat.
When you and all the other adherents to their own versions of the 'oldest book in existence' resolve the issue, let me know.

Our opinion is that the Daughters of Frya group is a hoax.

either they were the same incarnation of the same avatar/spirit, in different times/epochs,
or in my view they all had the same message.
krishna, buddha, and jesus were in my view all teachers from the source/god, sent to help mankind.

^^ *chuckle* thanks for your input, bensonz. Can always count on you for an injection of logic.
Anyway, it's quite an interesting idea. Is there any more information about the statue of Jesus and Krsna together, Clozaril? The one in Malaysia?

Quite sincerely - fuck it - if we're going to make up shit-crazy religions, then I think there should be more religions like the one where Norwegian women in short tennis skirts advocate the existence of Atlantis by kneeling 1200 times a day.
Rock on.

Yeah, but not 1,200 times!
Did I mention they're also chaste?

Many forms of the same consciousness.
Pure consciousness. Maybe not literal people who came to this planet... maybe forms of consciousness that came to people.
Maybe actual people who embodied that consciousness.
Maybe they are all the same 'person' or consciousness.
Maybe we are all the same 'person' or consciousness.
Uh ohhh now I'm getting close to the truth ;) Better stop here and form a religion!
