I found an interesting book that I thought others on this forum might like. It's
called Caverns, Cauldrons and Concealed Creatures by Wm. Michael Mott
with a foreword by David Icke.

OK, I finished the book.
A very enjoyable read. The author is apparently a christian and this does
color some of the conclusions he draws but I still enjoyed the book. It
brings together much folkloric information about subterranean creatures
and also includes modern sightings. The author ties this data in with
reports of UFOs as well as various "cryptids" such as bigfoot, chupacabras,
lake monsters, etc.
A few minor gripes:
The book does contain typos and the quality of photographic illustrations is
poor. I discovered that there is a later edition of the book and maybe these
things have been fixed in it. A link to info about the 2nd edition is here (http://www.hiddenmysteries.com/caverns/).
Anyway, I liked it.
