Nutritionist arrested by FDA for selling herbs

My partner was also targeted recently and told he could not sell chia seeds as they are illegal and a novel food, also he was told he can't call it organic despite it being grown organically in the US as they decided, those were different standards to ones accepted in the UK, he has to pay £1000 pounds for a licence to call it organic, even t hough it has already been grown organically. To top it off he is not allowed to put any information on the website on what he has been told he is allowed to do.
The US has the DSHEA legislation which protects herbs foods and supplements for the time being but the plans are under way to get rid of that and the FDA are behaving as if the DSHEA legislation already doesn't even exist.
