Yesterday I watched Dark Night (batman movie) and the police asked the Joker "where do you live" he said "I live now, here" then a shot of him in the jail cell and they said, "no name no ID"...and later when he was getting it on with batman he said to batman along the lines of you live by rules, I don't, the police are nothing but scheme artists.
If you're a freeman, they want you to be identified as a crazy fuck up.

Look what they have done against travelers. Demonising those who have the right to live without government interfearance. The right to be left alone. They won't get into those issues eh. Not if it doesn't suit their cause!

Actually, the clearest part of the message was when the Joker burnt up all the cash he stole from his Hong Kong victim.
Joker does not need MONEY!
Just stuff to blow things up.

I think we should all aspire to be like the Joker but without the murder/blowing people up etc(apart from the people that deserve it).

I love the bit where he says to batman "you have all these rules and you think they will save you" pure freeman mentality.

Tell me about it!!!
The last few years I've been doing a number of seasonal jobs, around the UK and in Europe, and for the last 5-6 years I've not had a permanent address as I live out of my van, staying on the farms I've worked, or in laybies etc.
You would be amazed the amount of times a revenue officer, or just a joe bloggs sticks there noes where it doesn't belong, and as soon as I start telling them how I live, there start thinking I'm some crazy assed monkey.
Why do you want to live out of a van, why don't you get a proper job/house etc like everyone else?!!
But I must admit, the revenue officers are not all idiots, I remember one time when I was sleeping in my van for a few weeks in a layby, somewhere along the A30 in Cornwall, a revenue officer knocked on my window one morning, and he said 'I've been told to move you on sir as a member of the public has reported that you have been here for several weeks now, but I think everyone has the right to a place to sleep, so if I tell you of a better layby to sleep in, where you won't get spotted by anyone, will you move on for me?
How about that! ... I of course moved on, and went to the layby the revenue officer mentioned, and happily kept my van there for nearly 2 months, without any hassles at all!!

I like it, i have only seen the movie once so my quotes are shit on it, however the whole joker philosophy is a beautiful one at that. The way he always says about living life in the now, and live without rules.
