Awwwwwwwwwwww
I watched Marley & Me last night, a movie based on John Grogan's novel which chronicles the life of his beloved Labrador. It stars the dog of course (dogs actually, different ones playing different ages) with Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston (looking stunning) supporting. It's a smart humorous drama, not a stupid romcom like the cover makes out. Anybody who has ever owned a big boisterous dog will relate instantly with this movie, this is true to life, not some fairy tale of some magical, super intelligent, Lassie style dog who saves lives or nonsence like that.
I have a five year old Labrador, and the Lab portrayed in this movie IS EXACTLY as mine was for the first two years, THEY ARE INSANE!!! :D
Anyway I'm writing this as a warning to dog lovers thinking they're in for some crazy comedy, yes it's funny and sweet until the inevitable last 20 minutes or so. I cried like a baby, I had a deep sickening sadness like whenever I'd lost a pet in the past, it was hard to go through, I had to cuddle my dog for an hour after, I was actually was grieving for hours. I know, pathetic. :D But this movie will get to you, trust me.
