Mike Oldfield is a brilliant artist who's work is so deep and profound. Yet his fans are ridiculed by the Conformist Regime and labeled as part of the anorak brigade.
Conversely it's "really cool" to worship all these shallow morons who tred the path of fame and fortune singing songs like "Oooh, baby! I'm sitting here all alone, by the phone..." in pre-adolescent falsetto and get all the glory and pocket money.

The interview on this morning was longer and was very interesting. He talks about how he began to realize that theres more than just the physical. He also said he had a rebirthing, as he could remember his birth pretty well! They do say that being born is worse than death.
It would be cool if that this morning interview was put on youtube.

It would be interesting to ask people here how far back they remember to their birth, and what their earliest moment of awareness was. Regarding Mike Oldfield, I saw that too and also feel that he is a genius - who lost his spark a little at times after his initial compositions, and into the 80s - and I was moved by his testimony. It's proof also of the fact that we are spirits, not bodies.

There is a interview with Mike in this months MOJO magazine. Two questions/answers I liked where
I describe myself as well, if I'm in a spiritual mood then I'm completely at one with myself and with the universe. If I'm in a bad mood then I'm a biological machine, just a grumpy old man.
When we die We are reabsorbed back into the earth, like a raindrop falling from the sky into the sea or river and becoming part of it.
I liked that last one :D
