Based on this video clip, would you say that this is a normal thing to do?

On another thread - it was suggested that this is Russian tradition. I have yet to find a source that confirms that lifting a child's clothing to kiss them on the naked skin is a Russian tradition. Especially if the kisser is a stranger.

So, I don't wish to incite any members that apparently worship Putin, and that don't want this discussed on their Putin threads. So, here's my own thread. Does this look normal to any of you?

Could be but I haven't found a source to confirm that this is a cultural/traditional practice. If it were, surely the boy wouldn't look so confused. His instinct told him to run, which he tries to do, but some adult forces him back to Putin...overriding his will. Not cool.

If it were a cultural thing and perfectly natural, why did the Russian media make a point of putting it on the news?

It would be like the media isolating a clip of the Japanese prime minister bowing to Bush during a diplomatic visit. It wouldn't make sense because it's their tradition to bow when greeting.

If it were Tony Blair bowing to Bush, then yeah, that would be news.

You know, that is a VERY interesting observation. We know that these bastards use us as an energy source and they feed off of the lower vibrating emotions and reactions like fear and hate.
