The Babylonian she-dragon, the original of which was the Sumerian monster Labbu, begot and destroyed by Enlil. Enuma Elish contains an account of what the universe was like before the events took place which resulted in the creation by Marduk of a new world order.

I really hope your not calling Tiamat evil and that she is some creator of what you think is NWO. She is my Patron Goddess so please do not go insulting Her.

The opposite, her defeat was by those who brought in the NWO. What is it is the female Goddess, the Dragon Goddess replaced by the male gods who then are used to control the people.

My sister, why do you still hold any of the old ones in such high regard? They are no more gods than you or I, or the silly dieties worshiped by the masses.

helpless people need gods darketurnal , they need them because they cannot believe in them self .
it is their way , from father to son / father to son .
hopelessly preordaned destinies controlled by gods and not them self .

Amen !

It's all to do with monotheism replacing polytheism and the concepts that were accepted then have been turned around now. Tiamat was venerated as the mother of the Earth now is seen as evil, it is not inconceivable that in a thousand or so years the god and creation beliefs that are much loved by their adherents will be seen in the same light as they see those beliefs they replaced.

Actually I do find the idea of Tiamat quite appealing, a Dragon Goddess, creator of the world, though my leaning is more to the cosmological explanation.
