Apologies if I am stating the obvious here.

Google will track and record your usage, for instance, I am told - if you go to Barak Obama's website, Google will hook on a globally unique tracking cookie to follow your internet usage round .... forever I think.

To target advertising? Yeh right......to target thought crime more like.

Scroogle will scrape the listings without 'them' knowing it's you.

Scroogle gives you the same search results as Google search does.

This gives a different set of search results. But is safer has the same advantages as scroogle. Think it does. :confused:
