Haunted by 33

Hi all. This is a bit strange and i would like your thoughts on this.

A while ago i started having those weird coincidences with the number 33 and seeing it just about everywhere it kind of freaked me out a bit, never experienced anything like it. Thought i was going mad until i found out it was som sort of recognized phenomenon.

Whats strange is it took off after i started meditating alot, which at the time i had never done before in my life. Lots of other things started happening as well around this time and it was scary to be honest because i didnt know what was going on (and im still not sure).
Later i also found out about the whole concept of kundalini awakening and spiritual emergency stuff, and it fits pretty good.

Anyway i stopped meditating and things coincidently "got back to normal" after a while, no more numbers or anything. Didnt draw a connection at the time, if there was one, i guess thats my question.

Now, a few days ago i started meditation again and well.. 33 is back :confused:
Not as intense as before but still very noticable. Cant help to think im going crazy when its happening, but then again, im not alone. I really dont know what to make of it :confused

You're just noticing it more. Like when women can't get pregnant/have a miscarriage, they see babies everywhere etc.

Yea ive been thinking the same but sometimes you just get goosebumps when it appears repeatedly in the weirdest ways, its just hard to ignore :p

You're just noticing it more. Like when women can't get pregnant/have a miscarriage, they see babies everywhere etc.

No they are seeing it everywhere because it IS EVERYWHERE! look at every time you buy a product that has extra given for free, it is nearly always 33% not 40% not 20% but 33%! That is no coincedence people! My take on it is that it is some sort of powerplay on the multiple of 11, I admit I don't know enough about numerology/ the occult etc, but it is def some kind of ritual.

Examples, buy a lucozade, buy a can of Mr sheen they will ( if extra is being given) have 33% extra & this is just starting off with purchases! Outside of purchses you will see it in adverts, tv, etc....:eek:

Yea i noticed, might be something to it.
What often happens to me however is i get a special kind of feeling when im in a certain situation, really cant describe it, and next place i look i see that number like some sort of confirmation of something. I dont know.
Lately i noticed it alot around a particular person. The way it happens is just.. too strange.

But anyways i know some people believe this might be some sort of communication so if we suppose it is i just want to know what you would make of it.

Lots of people see 11, like 11:11, some see 22 and so on. Never noticed those, only 33, 333 etc. Although 13 seem to appear in strange ways sometimes as well.

Just off the top of my head I can identify two multiples of 3, there is the 33 degrees and also 333, Chroronzon. ;)

But this could be that you have conditioned yourself to believe that number 33 is evil just as a christian may be averse to the number 666 whereas a Hindu may not be.

Well i dont think the number is some evil number, its just the experience of it that feels a bit odd.

to the OP: I have the same "problem"

I keep seeing 33 ALL THE TIME. I look at the watch, it's 17:33. I buy something at the store, I get 33 of my currency back. I wake up at 33 past the hour. I turn off my computer at 33 past the hour. When I look to see how far I've played a song, it's 3:33. It's been like this for a good couple of months now. I remember reading a similar thread here on the DI forum a while back, some poster kept seeing 11 and 33 all the time, and waking up at 33 past the hour. I thought (as I usually do with most things introduced by DI or a derivative of the DI franchise:rolleyes:) of it as bullsh*t, and then, a long, long time later, I experience the same thing. Now, I've read up on it a bit, and 3(3) is the feminine power coming into your life, balancing itself out with the masculine 6(6) to make a nine. So, we're all Nines, co-creators of this world, and in balanced harmony, our power as nines should be huge. Or so, I think it was. Go rent the movie the Nines or the Nine, can't remember. Anywho, I'd take it that seeing 33 everywhere is a POSITIVE sign. I think it would be a lot more troublesome to see 666 everywhere;)

I have been getting 33 for a couple of years, it is not constant, so there goes the theory i am bringing it on myself,if i was i would see it all the time. I get a good feeling from it. i was also seeing cc a lot. C being the 3rd letter of the alphabet.

Hello there, I have been in the tarot thread tonight and came across your question. I thought I might ask the tarot why you are having problems with this number....hope you dont mind, but even I was nosey!!:D

Regardless of whether you feel tarot is a reliable instinct, it told me something quite interesting really..

Curiously whenever this card comes up it always seems to involve some movement..With that we think of travel, car, transport or anything of that nature, but also the chariot holds colours that represent the European Union too....

Theres a lot of bold action with this card, its a kind of victory against all the odds, a massive strengh to breakthrough on something or that a huge effort and endurance can turn the tide.

A major decision can change your life dramatically in this card, it can really suggest that you are going to go somewhere or travel somewhere nomatter what, almost like a concious decision that you WILL do something and it WILL happen no matter what. It may even indicate someone takes a long trip to see you....so it seems overall that there are some major changes that need to be made or will be made in your life...Yes, I suppose that is a kind of awakening because it seems you have a whole new path opened up to you...the chariot converts to horses - and as you can see from the picture, they move away from the town, so maybe you might end up going someplace away from where you are now?

Change is a big motion on this card, sometimes its just doing something to the home, but its like something you should have done for a long time, I think also of the number 33 as Jesus' number so it does seem like something has nagged you to put in order or to master or to contemplate....Jesus made changes and created 'miracles'? Perhaps you have waited a long time to change some things in your life, but thought, it would be a miracle if you ever did...well I see changes for you that you really should,nt ignore, because it seems to me that your life can open up in a really big way...perhaps subconciously that is the nagging of the 33....

This card could even mean that you need to change your car, been having problems with it if you have one? All minor things there, but it really could have reference...

The chariot is also the number of heaven - a 7 - also linked to religious/spiritual aspects...are you knowledgeable but afraid to think about that knowledge...dont be afraid, this is your opening to discover more.

This is a very profound time for you - in work, love,travel and otherwise...Im sure something will come up for you because its been there all the time.
In work matters, there might have been someone who always seems to work against you, or at least you think they do, but dont you worry about that because that wont be backed up by what others think of you...You just stay on the right course because I really feel the time is good for you.

If you have a romance go for it, but if you are not happy with someone, this is the time to let them down gently.

I saw this thread and thought 'fuck, someone else is seeing this' Not sure if this is a mystic experience or if it's some mundane psychological phenomenon but I definitely notice it following me around. Also effects me more when I am meditating.

I've heard that the number 3 is symbolic of our dimension and is placed in our heads over and over to manipulate us subconsciously into accepting this reality.

In other words 3 is the number that locks us all in - and it's everywhere in media and entertainment - keeping us grounded in this reality.

It almost feels as if the universe is communicating to you if you pay attention to it, just that most people are too caught up in life to notice.
Then again it might be psychological but the phenomenon is definatly real.

Someone was saying that if you see 11:11 quite often you should consider meditating because 'they' are trying to get in touch.

Seeing a certain number or word often is a sign that it might hold significance on the other plane. So put yourself into deep meditation and ask why 33 wants your attention - and it will probably tell you.
