hello folks, My humble apologies go to all those folks who may have been concerned that my site has been shut down a few times in the last week or so. it's times like these when you see people's true colours. Events were/are completely out of my control. My host shut me down without warning. My site was attacked by spammers etc. I managed to get this sorted out but then it was shut down without warning again. I have no idea how long the site will have troubles. I have no assistance whatsoever in the running of matthewdelooze.co.uk.and have not had any technical assistance since this site was formed 10 months ago and with my computer skills, and the standard of website i have, i am a sitting duck for the sick wankers that like to attack sites whether is be in person or by using crafty tricks and sick technology. i'm sure the folks that cause these probs don't have a full set of balls to call their own and i will make sure they have none at all when i get hold of them. Anyway because of the current situation, and my rather sad pathetic position, i have no alternative but to cancel my talk that was to take place in blackburn for the 22nd November 2008. Those kind folks who have already bought tickets from ticketsource please contact me on matthewdelooze@aol.com, matthew@matthewdelooze.co.uk or matthew@oneballradio and i will refund you immediately by cheque or by paypal. i only have your names and have no means of refunding you unless you contact me. I apologise from the bottom of my heart for wasting your time. It hurts me to cancel the talk but recent events leave me no alternative. Should i be able to do a talk in blackburn in the future then i will also gladly provide a seat for those who bought a ticket free of charge. this is on top of the refund i will give them. Again i apologise over this from the bottom of my heart. I shall endeavour to sort things out properly over the next few days. and get info out to you as to the future of matthewdelooze.co.uk. As Matt says...he hasnt got a huge 'team' supporting him...doing all the technical stuff...Whereas David has made sure he does have a team of people helping ensure his website is kept safe and running smoothly.....no conspiracy here...move along!! :rolleyes:

Right as Lottie said, the forum members do not see what goes on behind the scenes here. This forum would be overrun with trolls and spammers if we didn't have a full time mod team and technical staff on watch 24/7.

Is he saying the host shut him down on request or the host refused and so was shut down anyway in its inability to deal with a threat? It's in the host's interest as a business to be secure (and can be highlighted), unless it was propositioned this may not be so. Which would lead me only to the conclusion you need the skill yourself and those contributing to have a vested interest in the information coming out. I believe that is protection.

Hello folks, Can anyone help me?
This site is in very serious danger of closing down or being closed down.I need assistance from someone who knows about php-fusion websites who can help me by sorting out some file problems due to my site being attacked by hackers and spammers.
I need someone with PHP fusion experience to help me communicate with my host to resolve matters. My host is continually shutting me down for the slightest thing and now all my news items have been blocked. This site has now been shut down 4 times in the last two weeks.
I am in a situation where I cannot carry on without some support. i have taken things as far as i can on my own. Without help I will really have no alternative but to close this site down and my work will cease. Indeed the site is being slowly destroyed along with my will to carry on anyway. I have tried to get help but failed miserably so far.
Please email me if you can help. I can try to pay someone for their help if it is not too expensive. I am not one to ask for help. I am certainly not one to beg. But I tell you the truth this site will be gone in a week without help and no more work will be produced. If you can help please email me.

But I have to tell you now about an interview, Richie and myself (oneballradio) did with Hamish Howitt at Blackpool Magistrates Court and in his bar, The Happy Scots Bar, on Rigby Road in Blackpool. We managed to follow Hamish in to court. He was up with his missus and a friend, Mario, who worked in the pub. They had several charges against them for allowing smoking in Hamish's bar. Hamish was guilty of the offence but the other two were not. Indeed poor Mrs Howitt had never been in the pub whilst anyone was smoking and his friend, Mario hadn't been in the pub either. They had simply been summoned to court because their names were on documents relating to the pub that were held by the council. Big brother registration sort of thing.
What a farce it turned out to be. I witnessed it in person. What a kangaroo court. Both Mrs Howitt and Mario were found guilty with no evidence provided whatsoever. They were convicted simply because their names were on council documents. Really heavy fines were dished out. Thousands. I felt for the Howitts and Mario. It was total injustice in my opinion.
Anyway Hamish is the only landlord in the UK to stand up and take on the authorities. I have witnessed this fellah stick up for his clients (Usually the elderly) without any fear. He truly is, as the Scots say, a big man. The matter is not about smoking in pubs it's about the rights that have been taken away. It's also about records held by the co uncil that can be used against anyone. Hamish runs two bars, one for his smoking clients and one for his non-smoking clients. He believes in the right to choose.
He has stuck to his guns without fear. It has cost him a fortune and caused devastation in his life but the man is a braveheart and very proud. Again this is not about smoking it's about rights. All Hamish asks for as support is that anyone visiting Blackpool visits him and shows support in his pub and chuck two bob in a bucket. His bar is on Rigby Road in Blackpool. If yer passing folks, go in and have a drink, shake his hand etc., because I tell you there's not many like Hamish. Hamish is in the High Court in London on the 2nd December 2008. Oneballradio will be there to watch his fate and get his reaction.
