Many attempt to achieve Oneness by escaping Dualism. There is a real battle, not just in language, to escape Dualism and have the knowledge or feeling of Oneness. Even Oneness has a seemingly apparent opposite almost as soon as it is conceived.
Dualism is; the Perceiver and Perceived. Good and Evil. Knower and Known. Life and Death.
To escape this and find Oneness in all life, one main thing has to be done and an additional thing can be done. It's just a change in perception or how we describe our perceiving.
1) main tactic; See "the complementaries of opposites". There is not Positive in electricity without Negative, nothing will flow. The important part of the circuit, is the circuit, not either pole. They seem opposite and exclusive, yet neither exist at all without the other.
The key is to see that things can not exist without their complimentary opposite, so those apparent opposites are actually aspects of the one. Most dualisms are a simplification of a case containing many more aspects, yet the dual is entertained and debated. The important and true part where all existence lies is within the boundaries, never at an extreme. Even completely plus, is completely not minus. Completely anything, can not be, in any way, without completely not that thing. Like absolute light is blinding and absolute dark shows nothing, all we truly see is in the light / shade in-between.
2) the next minor thing, yet powerful, is to drop nouns and see only verbs. All is action, all is in motion, so you are not a person but a personing. You are not alive who will one day die, you are a-live-ing. You are not someone who will become enlightened, there is enlightening.

Interestingly the internal shape of the lungs is the inverse to the shape of a tree or plant. Both are aspects of the same breathing apparatus whose circuit is air. With no plants we could not breath, they are as much a part of our lungs and us as our lungs are.
The oneness of our lungs includes trees and air. We share those trees and air with many other breathing creatures so we are one, there is breathing, not a multitude of things breathing with their separate lungs but a planet, a mass organism, the universe breathing as one.
