So, we are seeing a lot of changes within the NWO ranks. Paul Wolfowitz is going to resign from his position as president of the World Bank.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Senior World Bank officials have told CNN that they expect Paul Wolfowitz, the organization's president, to announce his resignation "soon." - CNN (http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/05/17/world.bank.wolfowitz/index.html)

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/wolfowitz1.jpg

It is going to be VERY interesting to see who the Bush cartel will pick to replace him...read on.

Tony Blair has resigned. But, don't think anyone better will replace him. No, the changing of the guard is happening for a hard push toward the NWO, and I've read in a couple of places that Tony might become the new president of the World Bank. Wouldn't be a big surprise, right?

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/tony_blair.jpg

Let's not forget the new fascist president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy - friend to the White House.

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/Sarkozy_edited.jpg

Then we have the Black Pope, Peter-Hans Kolvenbach, who announced, in early 2006, that he would step down in January 2008, even though they are elected FOR LIFE. He gave everyone a two year notice so that they can get their act together. Who will replace him?

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/blackpope.jpg

So, which other countries have had, or are going to have new leadership?

Well, the puppet, G W Bush himself will be done at the end of this year. I have no idea who they're gonna replace him with, but it will be someone intelligent and trustworthy, but beware. America has been under the radar and the laughing stock of the world for almost 12 years now, this has caused many other nations to fall into place as far as the NWO is concerned and now America will come back iron-fisted and dominant. This too is just another step in world consolidation. Also, Isreal will probally be attacked by Iran and Russia before Bush is out of office, drawing america even deeper into the middle east, but Isreal cannot be defeated. Everything that is happening in the world is just on a tangent stemming from Isreal, has been for thousands of years!!!

Among those mentioned as a possible replacement for Wolfowitz were former Deputy Secretary of State Robert Zoellick, who was Bush's former trade chief; Robert Kimmitt, the No. 2 at the Treasury Department; Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson; former Rep. Jim Leach, R-Iowa; Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind.,; Stanley Fischer, who once worked at the International Monetary Fund and is now with the Bank of Israel; and former U.S. Federal Reserve chairman Paul Volcker.

Whhooooo! Loomies Extraordinaire! Stand by for details...

tinmenace
19-05-2007, 01:35 PM
Who is Paul Volcker?

To keep this short and somewhat interesting, I'll just say that Paul Volcker is a banker. That's what he does. He was Chairman of the Board of Governors of the U.S. Federal Reserve System under Carter and Reagan.

He is also former Chairman of Wolfensohn & Co, a private investment company whose clients include businesses and governments, and whose founder, James D. Wolfensohn, is a former World Bank president. Ding Ding!

Volcker is a member of the Trilateral Commission (http://www.trilateral.org/) and even held the position of Chairman at one point, so of course he has a close relationship with the Rockefellers. Currently Volcker is Chairman of the Group of Thirty (G30) (http://www.group30.org/home.php), another Rockefeller initiated institution that consists of bankers and academics, who sit around and discuss the things they love the most - money and globalization.

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/volcker.jpg
Volcker is the really tall one.

This guy is World Bank president material, through and through.

tinmenace
19-05-2007, 01:49 PM
Who is Stanley Fischer?

He is the governor of the Bank of Israel and a member of the Group of Thirty (same as the above candidate Paul Volcker). He was Vice President, Development Economics and Chief Economist at the World Bank, as well as the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (http://www.imf.org/); another company involved in the NWO and globalization. There's more but it reads just like every other loomie...

tinmenace
19-05-2007, 02:49 PM
Who is Richard Lugar?

Ah! Another Dick. Richard Green "Dick" Lugar is the Senator of Indiana (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2172), the incredibly loomie-associated state.

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/dickandangelina.jpg
The newly admitted member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Angelina Jolie, and Dick Lugar

Amongst a whole bunch of predictable things, which becomes redundant after a while, Dick is an Eagle Scout and also became a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity whilst at Denison University. You know how this symbolism stuff fascinates me...so here goes...

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/beta2.jpg

Their open motto is: "Firmam Consensus Facit", which means "Worthy of the Highest, Three Great Principles"

This is a secretive fraternity that withholds certain secrets for it's initiates only. What is it with all these secrets??

tinmenace
19-05-2007, 10:59 PM
Who is Henry Paulson?

This loomie player was the man that replaced John Snow as George W. Bush's Secretary of the Treasury, when Snow went on to become Chairman of the company called Cerberus. (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3791) He's no different than the rest of the candidates. They are all little clones of one another. All have served the same institutions, been to the same schools, and so on. Just like Stanley Fischer, mentioned above, Henry Paulson is a member of the International Monetary Fund. He also served as CEO of the investment bank, Goldman Sachs. It's just more of the same ol' same ol', right?

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/henry-paulson.jpg

Now for the fraternity info that fascinates me so much. He joined two different "fraternities". One is the highly prestigious Phi Beta Kappa society (loomie central). Some members and honorary members include:

John D. Rockefeller
John D. Rockefeller Jr.
Nelson Rockefeller
Henry Kissinger
Condoleezza Rice
George H. W. Bush
Dick Lugar (see previous post)
Lynne Cheney
Bill Clinton

...and so on.

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/key.jpg
The symbol of the Phi Beta Kappa Society is a golden key engraved on the obverse with the image of a pointing finger, three stars, and the Greek letters from which the society takes its name. The stars are said today to represent the ambition of young scholars and the three distinguishing principles of the Society: friendship, morality, and learning. On the reverse are found the initials "SP" in script, which stand for the Latin words societas philosophiae, or "society of philosophy".
Source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phi_Beta_Kappa#The_Key)

The "hidden hand" is more like it!

The other fraternity that he joined was Sigma Alpha Epsilon. The same fraternity that Bill Oefelein joined (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?p=28464#post28464). Bill Oefelein is the astronaut that Lisa Nowak (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4030#post4030)supposedly went crazy about.

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/sigmaalphaepsilon.jpg

Of course there's a lot more to this loom, but it's redundant so I'm not going to bother with it.

Who is Robert Kimmit?

It's the same BS. Big Bush-cartel supporter - he's the Deputy Secretary for the Department of the Treasury. He served on a Panel of Arbitrators for the World Bank. He's also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (http://www.cfr.org/). Ho hum...

tinmenace
20-05-2007, 03:27 AM
Who is Robert Bruce Zoellick?

This is like repeating myself but here goes...He was the Deputy Secretary of State, and resigned to work for Goldman Sachs (see how the same institutions pop up for all of them?)

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/Robert_Zoellick.jpg

He's a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (http://www.cfr.org/) and also a member of the Trilateral Commission (http://www.trilateral.org/)

Guess what? Yeah, he's also a member of Phi Beta Kappa...

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/key.jpg

He is also a "Vulcan". What is this, you may ask? Well, The Vulcans are a group of people that came together as advisers to George W. Bush before the 2000 campaign. The key members were:

Richard Armitage
Condoleezza Rice
Paul Wolfowitz
Robert Blackwill
Stephen Hadley
Richard Perle
Dov Zakheim
Bruce Zoellick

After George W. Bush was 'elected', all these people went on to key positions within the new administration, and beyond. There seems to be significant cross pollination between the PNAC (http://www.newamericancentury.org/) and The Vulcans

But as usual, there is a god reference. It's ALWAYS about their gods, isn't it?

Vulcan is the god of fire, but especially destructive fire and volcanoes. He is the god of manufacturing arms and other metal made weapons of war. How utterly appropriate for this war-mongering monster that people call the president of the USA. Utterly pathetic!

The largest statue in the world of Vulcan is in Birmingham Alabama, coincidentally Condosleezza's hometown. What a surprise...NOT!

Oh, you're going to love this one...

Valdis Zatlers has become the 7th president of Latvia. He's a surgeon with no prior political career experience.

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/zatler.jpg

Zatlers himself is not a member of any political party, but had signed the manifesto of the People's Party when the party was founded in 1998. There are concerns that Zatlers will act as a puppet of the coalition, especially of the People's Party, and that he lacks political experience.
Source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valdis_Zatlers#Political_career)

Before his election he confessed that as a doctor he had accepted private donations from his patients. Transparency International has questioned the legality of this practice. Zatlers' supporters point out that donations of this form are accepted by many Latvian doctors. The Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) characterized Zatlers' behaviour as improper and has said that it will not complete its investigation of the matter for several months.

Opposing politicians have criticized Zatlers for not paying taxes on these gifts. The State Revenue Service, which had previously requested him to pay taxes on the gifts, fined Zatlers 250 Lats.

In 2003, Zatlers was a subject of an investigation by KNAB anti-corruption office. The investigation was started based on a request by Āris Auders, a former subordinate of Zatlers who had became the Minister of Healthcare. Auders had accused Zatlers in buying low-quality spinal implants from companies run by Zatlers' wife and the deputy director of Zatlers' hospital. The investigation cleared Zatlers of all charges.

On foreign policy, the president said he will pursue the nation's development and security within the frameworks of the European Union and NATO.

Have you ever wondered who replaced Scooter Libby as Cheney's Chief of Staff?

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/davidaddington.jpg

Meed David Addington. He was described by U.S. News and World Report as "the most powerful man you've never heard of" - Source (http://www.usnews.com/usnews/news/articles/060529/29addington.htm)

...a historic shift in the balance of power away from the legislative branch of government to the executive (president). The shift began soon after Bush took office and reached its apogee after 9/11, with Bush's authorization of military tribunals for terrorism suspects, secret detentions and aggressive interrogations of "unlawful enemy combatants," and warrantless electronic surveillance of terrorism suspects on U.S. soil, including American citizens.

The "invisible hand". Much of the criticism that has been directed at these measures has focused on Vice President Dick Cheney. In fact, however, it is a largely anonymous government lawyer, who now serves as Cheney's chief of staff, who has served as the ramrod driving the Bush administration's most secretive and controversial counterterrorism measures through the bureaucracy. David Addington was a key advocate of the Brown v. Board and more than 750 other signing statements the administration has issued since taking office--a record that far outstrips that of any other president.

Name one significant action taken by the Bush White House after 9/11, and chances are better than even that Addington had a role in it. So ubiquitous is he that one Justice Department lawyer calls Addington "Adam Smith's invisible hand" in national security matters. The White House assertion--later proved false--that Saddam Hussein tried to buy nuclear precursors from Niger to advance a banned weapons program? Addington helped vet that. The effort to discredit a former ambassador who publicly dismissed the Niger claim as baseless, by disclosing the name of his wife, a covert CIA officer? Addington was right in the middle of that, too, though he has not been accused of wrongdoing.

"He seems to have his hand in everything," says a former Justice Department official, "and he has these incredible powers, energy, reserves in an obsessive, zealot's kind of way." Addington declined repeated requests to be interviewed for this story.

More interesting facts about this Neo-Con fascist:

Assistant General Council the terrorist organization known as the CIA, from 1981-1984

Served on the committee that investigated Iran-Contra, all the while serving as council to Dick Cheney (congressman at the time).

Department of Defense General Council

"After he began working for Vice President Cheney, Addington was very influential in many different areas of policy. He authored or helped to shape many of the most controversial policies of the Bush administration."

"Addington has consistently advocated that under the Constitution, the President has unlimited powers as commander in chief during wartime."

"Addington helped to shape an August 2002 opinion from the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel that said torture might be justified in some cases. He advocates scaling back the authority of lawyers in the uniformed services. He consistently advocates the expansion of presidential powers and Unitary Executive theory, nearly absolute deference to the Executive Branch from Congress and the Federal judiciary. In a June 26, 2007 letter to Senator John Kerry, Addington asserted that by virtue of Executive Order 12958 as amended in 2003 that the Office of the Vice President was exempt from oversight by the Information Security Oversight Office for its handling of classified materials.
Source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Addington#Vice_President.27s_office)

In November 2006, the German government received a complaint seeking the prosecution of Addington for alleged war crimes. - Document (PDF) (http://www.ccr-ny.org/v2/GermanCase2006/Docs/Table%20of%20Contents%20for%20German%20Complaint.p df)

...he has played a central role in shaping the Administration’s legal strategy for the war on terror. Known as the New Paradigm, this strategy rests on a reading of the Constitution that few legal scholars share—namely, that the President, as Commander-in-Chief, has the authority to disregard virtually all previously known legal boundaries, if national security demands it. Under this framework, statutes prohibiting torture, secret detention, and warrantless surveillance have been set aside.

The overarching intent of the New Paradigm, which was put in place after the attacks of September 11th...

Yet, almost five years later, this improvised military model, which Addington was instrumental in creating, has achieved very limited results. Not a single terror suspect has been tried before a military commission.

David Addington is a tall, bespectacled man of forty-nine, who has a thickening middle, a thatch of gray hair, and a trim gray beard, which gives him the look of a sea captain. He is extremely private; he keeps the door of his office locked at all times, colleagues say, because of the national-security documents in his files. He has left almost no public paper trail, and he does not speak to the press or allow photographs to be taken for news stories. [Yes, not a whole lot about him out there]

There are various plausible explanations for Addington’s power, including the force of his intellect and his personality, and his closeness to Cheney, whose political views he clearly shares. Addington has been an ally of Cheney’s since the nineteen-eighties, and has been referred to as “Cheney’s Cheney,” or, less charitably, as “Cheney’s hit man.”

People who have sparred with him agree. “He’s utterly ruthless,” Lawrence Wilkerson said. A former top national-security lawyer said, “He takes a political litmus test of everyone. If you’re not sufficiently ideological, he would cut the ground out from under you.” [Sounds like a vicious nazi]

Conventional wisdom holds that September 11th changed everything, including the thinking of Cheney and Addington. Brent Scowcroft, the former national-security adviser, has said of Cheney that he barely recognizes the reasonable politician he knew in the past. But a close look at the twenty-year collaboration between Cheney and Addington suggests that in fact their ideology has not changed much. It seems clear that Addington was able to promote vast executive powers after September 11th in part because he and Cheney had been laying the political groundwork for years. “This preceded 9/11,” Fein, who has known both men professionally for decades, said. “I’m not saying that warrantless surveillance did. But the idea of reducing Congress to a cipher was already in play. It was Cheney and Addington’s political agenda.”

...But he’s the type of guy who gets psychic benefit from going to work every day, making a difference.”

Growing up, the Addingtons were a traditional Catholic military family. “Discipline was very important for us, and faith was very important. It was about being ethical—the right thing to do whether anyone else does it or not. I see that in Dave.” She was reluctant to say more. “Dave is most deliberate about his privacy,” she added. [The disgusting spell of dogma creating monsters]

“The boy seemed terribly, terribly bright. He wrote well, and he was very verbal, not at all reluctant to express his opinions. He was pleasant and quite handsome. He also had a very strong sarcastic streak. He was scornful of anyone who said anything that was naïve, or less than bright. His sneers were almost palpable.” [Fascist]

I keep coming back to Lapis and how very accurate she has been. Read this post (in part) from her ASCENSION thread.. (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3883).Dated May 31st, 2007

"....they will begin to energetically devour themselves because of the constant increasing Light on the planet and in the people...."

These beings meant "they" as being Bush and Co. and all of the others who'd been running the planet for so so long. All of these beings and humans would start (at that date in 12/2004) to destroy themselves because their food source - stupid humanity with its fears etc - was rapidly waking up and transforming itself. These lower humans and other lower non-physicals that manipulate them, will simply run out of 'food' here due to this ascension process. Their time is literally up here.

You said that "...the forces against us are gathering; and I don't doubt that at all. BUT, I know that's its useless at this point, unless one lives down there with the enemy still! At this point its the horrible death throes and self devouring of the lower energies and lower old world and it's going to get ugly. All the more reason to learn how to transmute and fly above it. ;)

Bush challenges hundreds of laws
President cites powers of his office

WASHINGTON -- President Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress when it conflicts with his interpretation of the Constitution.

Legal scholars say the scope and aggression of Bush's assertions that he can bypass laws represent a concerted effort to expand his power at the expense of Congress, upsetting the balance between the branches of government. The Constitution is clear in assigning to Congress the power to write the laws and to the president a duty ''to take care that the laws be faithfully executed." Bush, however, has repeatedly declared that he does not need to ''execute" a law he believes is unconstitutional.

Fed bends rules to help two big banks

NEW YORK (Fortune) -- In a clear sign that the credit crunch is still affecting the nation's largest financial institutions, the Federal Reserve agreed this week to bend key banking regulations to help out Citigroup (Charts, Fortune 500) and Bank of America (Charts, Fortune 500), according to documents posted Friday on the Fed's web site.

Thanks for keeping us informed of these characters Tinmenace! This David Addington (Adder SSssssss) sounds like a classic example of a Psychopath. When I read "he was scornful of anyone who said anything that was naive, or less than bright. His sneers were almost palpable" it's a short skip and hop to the Psychopaths loathing of any and all 'weaker' type human beings, of which they scorn and deliberately give a hard time to. This guy is a snake in the grass of the most high caliber! I hope the Administration of US all end up in prison where they belong. After all, if we did what these people have done we would be in prison that fast you wouldn't see us for smoke.
It's a world run by these corrupt Lawyers, is it not?? They are all bloody Lawyers!! (The one's with the brains doing the graft behind the scenes).
Never trust a Lawyer I was told.........reckon whoever said that was 'on the money'.
Cheers Yes Lemon, There is some justice, tho. Tonight I watched a 2 hour special, on TV, of an ex-prosecuter/lawyer/liar who got life in prison for killing her ex-hubby because he won a custody battle, in court. She will be eligible for parole in 2020!

Senator Larry Craig, an accused closeted gay Republican (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_craig#Sexual_orientation) from Idaho was arrested on June 11th in the Twin Cities (airport) for allegedly attempting to do a quick nasty with a stranger through a hole in the bathroom stall. Ok, I don't know if it really had a hole, but you have to wonder how they were going to do it...if the stranger hadn't been a cop!

Well, sadly for MITT ROMNEY (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2152), this guy was a big supporter of his, and you have to wonder if the timing of all this fuss was a set up to knock Mitt back a few steps? Usually they can keep this sort of thing covered up EASILY 'til a few years later, so one has to wonder about this event and if there is an agenda behind it. And if so, who's behind it?

I think it's sad that people can't just be who they want to be without the establishment telling them that their sexual orientation is unacceptable. But that does bring up the question of pedophilia (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4141). Is that an acceptable sexual orientation? I don't think so because I've seen too many adults living devastated lives because of sexual abuse that they endured as children. So, no it's not ok. But adult homosexuality? What business is it of any government, church or parent to decide that it is right or wrong?

Source: Mayor, state legislators arrested in N.J. corruption probe

(CNN) -- Eleven public officials were arrested in New Jersey as part of a corruption investigation, the U.S. attorney's office announced Thursday.

State Assemblymen Mims Hackett Jr. and Alfred E. Steele -- both Democrats -- and Passaic Mayor Samuel Rivera are among those arrested, a source in the U.S. attorney's office said.

Also arrested were the chief of staff to the Newark City Council president, two Passaic City Councilmen and five Pleasantville school board members, the source said.

The Star-Ledger in Newark, New Jersey, citing sources close to the investigation, reported that the officials were arrested on bribery charges pertaining to roofing and insurance contracts.

The 18-month investigation, which included undercover operations and secret recordings, focused on officials in Passaic, Essex and Atlantic counties, sources told the newspaper.

The probe targeted school board members, state lawmakers, mayors and city officials, the sources said, according to The Star-Ledger.

U.S. Attorney Christopher J. Christie and FBI agent Weysan Dun are expected to announce the charges and provide details at a 3:30 p.m. news conference in front of the federal courthouse in Trenton.

Those arrested will begin making appearances before a judge at 2 p.m. Thursday.

The names of those arrested are expected to be released before noon.

CFR member
Thompson was appointed minority counsel for the hearings surrounding the Watergate scandal. He was responsible for Sen. Baker's asking one of the questions that is said to have led directly to the downfall of President Richard Nixon—"What did the President know, and when did he know it?"
In March 2003, Thompson was featured in a commercial by the conservative non-profit group Citizens United that advocated the invasion of Iraq, stating: "When people ask what has Saddam done to us, I ask, what had the 9/11 hijackers done to us -- before 9/11,"and he has remained supportive of that invasion.
In 2006, he served on the advisory board of the legal defense fund for I. Lewis ("Scooter") Libby, Jr, who was indicted and later convicted of lying to federal investigators during their investigation of the Plame affair. After President Bush commuted Libby's sentence, Thompson released a statement: "I am very happy for Scooter Libby," Thompson said. "I know that this is a great relief to him, his wife and children. This will allow a good American, who has done a lot for his country, to resume his life." FFS!

Presidential candidate's headquarters burglarized

WASHINGTON (CNN) — A television and eight laptop computers were stolen from Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign headquarters, according to a Boston Police official.

The break-in took place late Sunday night or early Monday morning, campaign spokesman Kevin Madden told CNN

“We won’t comment on anything past that because it is a police investigation,” Madden said. Romney, a former Massachusetts governor now seeking the GOP presidential nomination, main political headquarters is located at 585 Commercial Street. The intruders entered through a third floor window. The building does have 24 hour security and police are now interviewing people on the scene.

It is the second burglary in recent weeks of a presidential hopeful’s office. Sen. Chris Dodd’s, D-Connecticut, Senate office in Hartford was broken into and police have since charged a homeless man with that crime.

President Bush will announce this week plans to cut U.S. troops in Iraq
by about 30,000 -- to pre-'surge' levels -- by next summer,
a senior administration official confirms to CNN.

In the speech, the president will say he understands the deep concerns Americans have about U.S. involvement in Iraq and their desire to bring the troops home, they said. Bush will say that after hearing from Petraeus and Crocker, he has decided on a way forward that will reduce the number of troops but not abandon Iraq, they said.

The address will stake out a conciliatory tone toward Congress but Bush will place more conditions on the pace of reductions to the pre-buildup level of 130,000 than Petraeus did.

At the White House Tuesday afternoon, Bush met with House and Senate lawmakers of both parties and he publicly pledged to consider their input.

Election of the new Superior General of the Jesuits for 2008,
Names unveiled of frontrunners for the succession

Rome, Feb 6, 2006 / 12:00 am (CNA).- The General Assembly of Jesuits will meet with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican on April 22. In the letter convening the 35th General Congregation for the year 2008, the Superior General Fr. Hans Kolvenbach announced his wish to retire. A new Superior General will therefore be elected in January 2008.

A high ranked Jesuit spoke to CNA on condition of anonymity, and gave us the names and profiles of possible frontrunners for the election of the successor of Peter Hans Kolvenbach.

P. Franco Imoda, S.J., former Rector of the Gregorian University. He is an Italian psychiatrist. He is well known in the Vatican, and would represent the Italian Jesuits and the educational sector of the Company.

Fr. José Morales Orozco, S.J, current rector at the Iberoamerican university of Mexico. Former provincial of Mexico, and advisor to Kolvenbach for formation. He knows well the Company worldwide and is well appreciated internationally. He would represent Latin-America as well the Faith and Justice and educational sectors of the Company.

Fr. Elias Royon Lara, S.J, current provincial for Spain for the second time. He was also master of novices, rector in Philosophy and provincial of Toledo, vice-rector of the University of Comillas in Spain, advisor to Fr. Kolvenbach for Italy, Spain and Portugal and co-president of the Conference of Religious people in Spain. Well known and respected by the Spanish bishops and the Vatican. He is older than the others, but it might work in his favor if the election is controversial and a compromise candidate is sought.

Fr. Mark Raper, S.J, current provincial of Australia. Former director of the Jesuit Refugee Service. He knows Rome and is well known there. He would represent the movement of Faith and Justice in the Company.

Jesuits gather in Rome to elect new "black pope"

ROME: There won't be any white smoke to tell the world he has been elected, but another sort of secret conclave began in Rome on Monday -- to chose the worldwide Jesuit leader who is known as the "the black pope".

At Jesuit headquarters a block from the Vatican, 225 delegates from around the world will choose a new superior general to run the largest and perhaps most influential, controversial and prestigious Catholic clerical order.

Their leader is traditionally known as "the black pope" because of the colour of the simple cassock he wears and because -- like the pope who dresses in white -- he has worldwide influence and usually keeps the position for life.

But this year's general congregation, as the meeting is known, is different. The current superior general, Father Peter-Hans Kolvenbach, 79, received permission from Pope Benedict to retire for reasons of age.

A soft-spoken Dutchman with white hair and a goatee, Kolvenbach has been in the job since 1983 and has won widespread praise for steering the Jesuits through one of their most difficult periods in their 468-year history.

Kolvenbach's charismatic predecessor, a Basque named Pedro Arrupe, had several conflicts with Benedict's predecessor, Pope John Paul, who believed the order had become too independent, leftist and political, particularly in Latin America.

When Arrupe suffered a stroke in the early 1980s Pope John Paul appointed a personal delegate to run the order to make sure it would not drift further leftwards, a move some Jesuits at the time resented as "papal martial law".

Kolvenbach, by contrast, has been credited with re-establishing good relations with the Vatican over the past 25 years while dealing with issues such as declining vocations and the future of the order founded by St Ignatius Loyola in 1540.

DECLINING VOCATIONS

In the 1960s, the all-male order officially known as the Society of Jesus peaked with some 36,000 members worldwide. It now has about 19,200 members involved in education, refugee help and other social services.

The election of Kolvenbach's successor is expected to take place in mid-January after days of prayer and what is known in Latin as "murmuratio", or murmurings, among the delegates about who might make a good superior general.

While politicking for the post is strictly banned -- delegates are obliged to 'turn in' anyone who actively seeks the top job -- some names have already circulated in religious media.

One is Father Lisbert D'Sousa of India, and some Jesuits have said it is time for the top job to go to someone from the developing world.

"This (the developing world) is not only the new center of gravity for the Society of Jesus but for the Church," Father James Martin wrote in America, the weekly of the U.S. Jesuits.

"And an election of a developing world general would be interesting as a possible bellwether for the next papal conclave, whenever that will be," he wrote.

The new Jesuit leader is elected by a secret ballot. After he is chosen, the delegates are not allowed to leave the room until Pope Benedict is informed, in keeping with a centuries-old tradition that the "white pope" be the first to know who the new "black pope" is.

But unlike a conclave to elect the real pope, a Jesuit general congregation can continue for weeks or even months after the new head has been elected in order to discuss the order's future challenges and priorities

IHT.COM (http://www.iht.com/articles/reuters/2008/01/07/europe/OUKWD-UK-RELIGION-JESUITS.php)

Like the Cardinal electors in a papal conclave, the Jesuit delegates will be considering candidates' prayerfulness, leadership and organizational capacity, language skills and geography. Some wonder if the Jesuits may elect their first ever leader from Asia, with Father Lisbert D'Sousa of India mentioned. Australian Father Mark Raper, former head of the Jesuit Refugee Service, is also among those on insiders' lists, as is Italian Father Federico Lombardi, the current papal spokesman and longtime head of Vatican radio and television channels.

New Jersey-born, Rome-based Jesuit, Father Keith Pecklers, says the ideal successor "will be a combination of the two" most recent superior generals. "We need someone with Arrupe's prophetic vision and courage but also it's absolutely key the leader will be someone with the diplomatic skills Kolvenbach has to maintain close ties with Holy See."

The Post-9/11 Driver's License

(WASHINGTON)—Americans born after Dec. 1, 1964, will have to get more secure driver's licenses in the next six years under ambitious post-9/11 security rules to be unveiled Friday by federal officials.

The Homeland Security Department has spent years crafting the final regulations for the REAL ID Act, a law designed to make it harder for terrorists, illegal immigrants and con artists to get government-issued identification. The effort once envisioned to take effect in 2008 has been pushed back in the hopes of winning over skeptical state officials.

Even with more time, more federal help and technical advances, REAL ID still faces stiff opposition from civil liberties groups.

To address some of those concerns, the government now plans to phase in a secure ID initiative that Congress passed into law in 2005. Now, DHS plans a key deadline in 2011, and then further measures to be enacted three years later, according to congressional staffers who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because an announcement had not yet been made. DHS officials briefed legislative aides on the details late Thursday.

Without discussing details, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff promoted the final rules for REAL ID during a meeting Thursday with an advisory council.

http://spiritual-nature.com/images/michaelchertoff.jpg
Chertoff willing GWB not to screw up his speech

"We worked very closely with the states in terms of developing a plan that I think will be inexpensive, reasonable to implement and produce the results," he said. "This is a win-win. As long as people use driver's licenses to identify themselves for whatever reason there's no reason for those licenses to be easily counterfeited or tampered with." In order to make the plan more appealing to cost-conscious states, federal authorities drastically reduced the expected cost from $14.6 billion to $3.9 billion, a 73 percent decline, according to Homeland Security officials familiar with the plan.

The American Civil Liberties Union has fiercely objected to the effort, particularly the sharing of personal data among government agencies. The DHS and other officials say the only way to make sure an ID is safe is to check it against secure government data; critics like the ACLU say that creates a system that is more likely to be infiltrated and have its personal data pilfered.

In its written objection to the law, the ACLU claims REAL ID amounts to the "first-ever national identity card system," which "would irreparably damage the fabric of American life."

The Sept. 11 attacks were the main motivation for the changes.

The hijacker-pilot who flew into the Pentagon, Hani Hanjour, had a total of four driver's licenses and ID cards from three states. The DHS, which was created in response to the attacks, has created a slogan for REAL ID: "One driver, one license."

By 2014, anyone seeking to board an airplane or enter a federal building would have to present a REAL ID-compliant driver's license, with the notable exception of those more than 50 years old, Homeland Security officials said.

The over-50 exemption was created to give states more time to get everyone new licenses, and officials say the risk of someone in that age group being a terrorist, illegal immigrant or con artist is much less. By 2017, even those over 50 must have a REAL ID-compliant card to board a plane.

Among other details of the REAL ID plan:

—The traditional driver's license photograph would be taken at the beginning of the application instead of the end so that should someone be rejected for failure to prove identity and citizenship, the applicant's photo would be kept on file and checked in the future if that person attempted to con the system again.

—The cards will have three layers of security measures but will not contain microchips as some had expected. States will be able to choose from a menu which security measures they will put in their cards.

Over the next year, the government expects all states to begin checking both the Social Security numbers and immigration status of license applicants.

Most states currently check Social Security numbers and about half check immigration status. Some, like New York, Virginia, North Carolina and California, already have implemented many of the security measures envisioned in REAL ID. In California, for example, officials expect the only major change to adopt the first phase would be to take the photograph at the beginning of the application process instead of the end.

After the Social Security and immigration status checks become nationwide practice, officials plan to move on to more expansive security checks, including state DMV offices checking with the State Department to verify those applicants who use passports to get a driver's license, verifying birth certificates and checking with other states to ensure an applicant doesn't have more than one license.

A handful of states have already signed written agreements indicating plans to comply with REAL ID. Seventeen others, though, have passed legislation or resolutions objecting to it, often based on concerns about the billions of dollars such extra security is expected to cost.

Associated Press writer Eileen Sullivan contributed to this report.

Archbishop of Greek Orthodox Church dies

ATHENS, Greece (CNN) -- Archbishop Christodoulos of the Greek Orthodox Church died Monday after a battle with cancer, church officials told CNN. He was 69.

Christodoulos was the spiritual leader of roughly 15 million Greek Orthodox Christians worldwide, including about 10 million in Greece.

He had led the church for 10 years, boosting membership after a period of declining attendance and internal turmoil.

The archbishop also addressed centuries-old grievances with the Roman Catholic Church. He received the late Pope John Paul II in Athens in 2001 on the first papal visit to Greece in nearly 1,300 years.

During his visit to Greece, the pope asked for forgiveness for sins committed against Orthodox Christians during the 1,000 year split between the two traditions. The remarks drew applause from Christodoulos.

The 2001 declaration followed a roasting by Christodoulos, who told the pope that an apology was needed for grievances ranging from the Great Schism of 1054 to a lack of publicly expressed concern over the divided island of Cyprus.

"Traumatic experiences remain as open wounds on (the Greek people's) vigorous body," Christodoulos said. "Yet until now, there has not been heard even a single request for pardon."

Church authorities have scheduled a meeting of the Holy Synod, the church's governing body, for 2 p.m. Monday to discuss the election of a successor. Church rules say that the Holy Synod should set a date for the election of an archbishop within 20 days of a leader's death.

Christodoulos died about 5:15 a.m. Monday (10:15 p.m. Sunday ET) at his home in an Athens suburb, church officials said. He had battled liver cancer for several months and traveled to the United States in an unsuccessful attempt to get a transplant. He declined hospital treatment in the last several days.

The church declared three days of mourning and said that the archbishop's body will be placed on public display before his burial in a few days.

More than 90 percent of people in Greece belong to the Greek Orthodox Church.

Christodoulos was elected church leader in 1998 and is credited with reinvigorating the vast institution, according to reports from The Associated Press. He helped create church Web sites and radio stations, and frequently issued detailed checklists on how black-clad Orthodox priests should conduct themselves in public.

He was regularly named Greece's most popular public figure in opinion polls, the AP reported. But his abrasive tactics also made him enemies in the church and the media, who openly called for his resignation when several senior clerics were accused of embezzling funds, involvement in sexual scandals, and even trial-fixing in 2005.

Two "major" religious leaders dead within a day of each other. This is all very interesting.

Hi Tinmen, I'm fairly new to this forum, but I always enjoy reading your posts.

As a former active Mormon, I took interest in the passing of President Gordon B. Hinckley. He will be replaced with President Thomas S. Monson (if they follow what has always been done in the past, they sustain the senior member of the Quorum of the Twelve or President of the Quorum of the Twelve, who is currently Pres. Monson).

As just a side note, ALL members of the Quorum of the 12 are called, ordained and sustained by church members as a "Prophet, Seer, and Revelator" when they are called to the 12. This is so that the church is never without a prophet on the earth, even when the acting prophet dies. There is only one sustained "active" prophet at any one given time, though.

All prophets of the Mormon Church have come from the Merovingian Bloodline, thus far and today I plan to research Thomas Monson's ancestry. I'll post what I find.

Here's what Stewart Swerdlow wrote today regarding the recent deaths of religious leaders:
"In their efforts to clear out the old so the new can be brought in--The New World Religion, more religious leaders have passed.
Yesterday, the leader of the Mormon Church and the leader of the Greek Orthodox Church both died.
Now we will see a few other religious people pass on as imprinting for the New World Religion continues across the board in all countries, no matter what the belief system is.
Keep an eye on the old Nazi Pope and the Chief Rabbi in Israel."

This was also a post on Stewart's site regarding the recent change of the Black Pope:
"On Peter-Hans Kolvenbach’s 8,888th and last day as Superior General of the Society of Jesus (January 13), Pope Benedict celebrated part of Sunday's Mass at the Sistine Chapel's ancient altar set right against the wall under Michelangelo's Last Judgment with his back turned on the congregation, re-introducing an old ritual that had not been used in decades. The Pope baptized 13 babies."

Hi Gregory,

Great post! Thanks for sharing this info. I am looking forward to what you come up with concerning Monson.

Hello, Again, Tinmen,
I spent a lot of time today researching Monson's bloodlines. He's definitely from the Merovingian Bloodline (both from his Father's and Mother's lineage). I also found where his ancestry merges with many of the past Mormon prophets (I've read that they are all actually related either directly or through marriage), and he also shares ancestry with George Washington and other past U.S. Presidents.

Interesting, huh?

United States Treasury Secretary, CFR member (http://www.dailypaul.com/node/40827) and a member of the Global Financial System known as International Monetary Fund - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (International Monetary Fund), Henry Paulson in the news:

U.S. Treasury to unveil overhaul of financial oversight

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Federal Reserve would have the power to regulate virtually the entire banking and securities industry under proposals to be unveiled Monday by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, according to a summary of the proposals provided to CNN late Friday.

Paulson will introduce the proposals, designed to modernize the financial oversight structure, in a speech Monday, said Treasury Department spokeswoman Michele Davis.

While Davis said the proposals have been in the works since June -- two months before the sub-prime mortgage crisis began affecting financial markets -- it is a long-term restructuring project that is at least in part a response to criticism the federal government has not been ahead of the current problems.

Some of the proposals -- broadening the focus of a presidential working group on financial markets and tightening oversight on mortgage originators -- are classified as short-term recommendations, while the department expects the rest to take time to finalize.

Davis said the department does not expect to finish those longer-term proposals before President Bush leaves office next year. Instead, she said, Paulson is trying to start the process of creating "a better regulatory framework so we're in better shape next time" there is a rough patch in economy.

The banking and financial industry regulation structure has been developed over decades, from the establishment of the national bank charter in 1863 to the creation of the Federal Reserve system in 1913 to recent changes made in response to other crises. Now, however, the ever-expanding complexities of global markets have largely outgrown some of the structure's component parts, creating weaknesses and redundancies.

Paulson will propose the Federal Reserve have authority to look at the financial status of any institution that could affect market stability; the Securities and Exchange Commission merge with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission; stock exchanges have more room for self-regulation; and bank supervision be consolidated into one regulator, according to Brookly McLaughlin, another department spokeswoman.

One of the most dramatic changes would extend the powers of the Federal Reserve -- designed to regulate the commercial banking industry -- to oversight of virtually the entire financial industry.

That change would make the Fed the first responder to a potential financial crisis. Currently, several agencies and commissions have oversight over various parts of the industry, but none has the broad authority.

The proposed change would help the oversight and regulatory system catch up with the events of the last two weeks, when the Federal Reserve intervened to facilitate the sale of failing brokerage Bear Stearns to JP Morgan Chase.

Nearly all the proposals will require the approval of Congress, where Democrats are already at work on their own proposals. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-New York, said Democrats "agree with large parts" of Paulson's plan but think the proposals should go further.

"Very complex financial instruments have evolved in recent years, like [collateral debt obligations] and credit default swaps, which pose potential problems in terms of systemic risk," he said. "The Treasury Department should address these issues as well."

Initial response from the financial industry was positive. Tim Ryan, president and CEO of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, called Paulson's proposals "a thoughtful and sweeping plan."

"Our present regulatory framework was born of Depression-era events and is not well suited for today's environment where billions of dollars race across the globe with the click of a mouse," he said. "That fact, teamed with the current market conditions, results in a universal agreement that it is time to modernize and revitalize the current system."

Extend the powers? Really? OMFG, don't they already have more power than they should? Please keep in mind that the Federal Reserve has nothing to do with the US Government. The Federal Reserve is a cartel of private bankers - The Illuminati - The Puppeteers!

Consider this please:

He also helped to create the Hope Now Alliance to help struggling homeowners during the 2007 subprime mortgage financial crisis.

The ORCHESTRATED financial crisis!

There has been a lot of discussion and chatter about the "concentration camps" that are being built all around the USA. We've all wondered who the fuck they intend to put in those camps, and I know I've wondered why this isn't all over the news  I don't have a favorite link about these camps, but here's ONE (http://www.freedomfiles.org/war/fema.htm) to get you started.

Concentration camps? Nah!

This from The Pleiadian Times (Spring Equinox 2008):

...And with millions of people losing their homes, where will they live? Will the long-planned debtor camps finally be open for business?

Makes sense. Where will all these people live? They can't have millions of homeless families on the streets, can they? Just the fact that these camps have been in the works for years proves to me that this entire financial fiasco was orchestrated. How utterly cruel and cold-blooded do you have to be to knowingly destroy families and herd them into camps?

David Icke was right again!

Bush signs spying legislation

WASHINGTON (CNN) — President Bush on Thursday signed a controversial bill that effectively shields telephone companies from being sued for participating in a government eavesdropping program.

The law puts new rules in place for intelligence agency surveillance of suspected terrorists, clarifying the legal status of a government spying program launched after the 2001 attacks on New York and Washington.

Bush said that in the wake of the attacks, “America’s intelligence professionals lacked some of the tools they needed to monitor communications abroad.” With the passage of the law, they “will have the tools they need to protect our country” and “thwart terrorist plots,” he said in the Rose Garden.

He said the new bill will also “protect the liberties of our citizens,” but civil rights groups have vowed to fight the measure in court.

Karl Rove to quit at end of August

http://www.globalfailure.com/images/karlrovequit.jpg

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Karl Rove, President Bush's senior political adviser, will voluntarily step down from his White House post at the end of the month, senior administration officials said Monday.

Source (http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/08/13/rove.resign/index.html)

Ah! It's all crumbling now, isn't it my lovelies? Resign to avoid testifying about the judges that were fired...what a complete spineless prick you are, Karl Rove. You and your demented boss.

Rove ignores committee's subpoena, refuses to testify

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Karl Rove, President Bush's longtime political guru, refused to obey an order to testify before a House Judiciary Committee hearing Thursday.

Rove's lawyer asserted that Rove was "immune" from the subpoena the committee had issued, arguing that the committee could not compel him to testify due to "executive privilege."

The panel is investigating allegations that Rove and his White House allies dismissed U.S. attorneys and prosecuted officials who they saw as political opponents.

The panel subpoenaed Rove in May after his lawyer, Robert Luskin, made clear the former White House deputy chief of staff would not appear voluntarily.

Luskin responded immediately that Rove still would not appear, prompting a threat of prosecution from the Judiciary Committee chairman, Rep. John Conyers, a Michigan Democrat, and Rep. Linda Sanchez, a California Democrat who chairs the subcommittee on commercial and administrative law.

"A refusal to appear in violation of the subpoena could subject Mr. Rove to contempt proceedings, including statutory contempt under federal law and proceedings under the inherent contempt authority of the House of Representatives," Conyers and Sanchez wrote.

Rove's lawyer cited a letter from the Justice Department saying Rove is "constitutionally immune from compelled congressional testimony." He said Rove is willing to submit to an "informal interview" or to answer written questions about the prosecution of former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman, whose ouster Rove is accused of orchestrating.

"Threatening Mr. Rove with sanctions will not in any way expedite the resolution of the issue," Luskin wrote in a letter to the panel on Wednesday.

White House spokesman Snow to step down
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- White House press secretary Tony Snow will step down from his position as early as next month, sources inside and outside the Bush administration told CNN on Friday.

Former White House spokesman Tony Snow dies
July 12, 2008

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former White House press secretary Tony Snow -- who once told reporters "I'm a very lucky guy" -- died at the age of 53 early Saturday after a second battle with cancer.

When contacted by CNN about his possible departure, Snow said, "I'm not making any announcement."

Snow told conservative talk-show host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday that "financial reasons" may prevent him for serving the remainder of his boss's presidency.

"I'm not going to be able to go the distance, but that's primarily for financial reasons." Snow said. "I've told people when my money runs out, then I've got to go."

According to The Washington Post, Snow makes $168,000 as the White House spokesman.

CNN has previously reported that Chief of Staff Josh Bolten told senior White House staffers that unless they could commit to staying until President Bush leaves office in January 2009, they should leave by Labor Day.

Snow, 52, had been treated for colon cancer in 2005. In March, during surgery to remove a growth from his abdomen, doctors discovered that the cancer had returned and spread to his liver.

Five weeks later, Snow returned to the White House podium and continued to work as the president's chief spokesman as he underwent chemotherapy. In recent interviews, he indicated that his health situation had stabilized.

Before coming to the White House in April 2006, Snow had worked for the Fox News Channel and hosted his own nationally syndicated radio show.

He took a significant pay cut to take the job of press secretary and has talked publicly in the past about the financial sacrifices, as well as his passion for the post.

People close to Snow said that he felt he needed to make some more money to help his family, which includes children readying for college.

Speculation on who might replace Snow has centered on his deputy, Dana Perino. When asked about Snow's plans to leave, Perino told CNN, "I've got nothing on that, nor would I speculate."

Also on Friday, Rep. Dennis Hastert of Illinois announced that he would not seek another term in 2008. Hastert stepped down from his Republican leadership post but remained in Congress when Democrats took back control of Congress in November 2006.

And earlier this week, Karl Rove, Bush's senior political adviser, announced he would step down at the end of the month. He characterized his tenure in the White House as a "witness to history" as he announced his resignation Monday.
