Man! The sell-off in the end must have been massive! The last I saw (I have it right on my desktop) it was down 300 and change. Ouch!

I might be wrong but I would suspect this is due to the AIG coverage on tv today, also I think that AIG has now been reassessed with a BBB credit rating. This would lead to a massive amount of selling on the markets, and will have only just begun. It should get worse over the next few days.

And if you don't know why AIG's re-assessed credit rating is so important? Look it up

Wow! more symbolism.

No just a co-incidence. If it was Christian/Judaic symbolism it would be down 666. Sigh

Fuck, you ppl are so fucking paranoid it's untrue. I said "might as well". Not that you did. I would suspect the CIA have better things to do: you know, torturing children who are "terrorists", killing cats or whatever they get upto for kicks

Some people on here do a good enough job of discrediting any "truth" without their intervention.

And quoting variations of "stick and stones..." and "He who smelt it dealt it" shows a child's reasoning, poor intellectual abilities and an inability to put-together a coherent argument - some might say

as it is, some things are just not worth the effort...maybe I'm just too undereducated and not articulate enough for your mighty mind.

And I think it was taken off track - and removed from any serious consideration - when Marvin The paranoid Android started seeing christian death cult symbolism in a stock market closing figure.
