Dear sheeple,

I wish to advise you all of the greatest conspiracy known to mankind, the conspiracy of THEY.

THEY want you to think that governments are powerfull and that the governments are so powerfull that they have secret technology and can watch you wherever you are.

THEY first started this with religion with the idea of a sky daddy.

THEY have various mouth peices selling you books, cd's, DVD's and internet subscriptions.

THEY want you to think that THEY have secret knowledge and that THEY are the elite. THEY also done this with religion, i.e sacred texts that only the priests could read.

THEY want you to think that capitalism is unfair and you will never get anyware so that THEY can stay on top.

THEY want you to think that THEY are succesfull and the only way you can be succesfull is to be like them and most importantly own what they own.

THEY want you to think that you are nothing and powerless.

THEY are actually just human beings who thought they made it to the top of whatever field they are in.

THEY want you to think it is always big media's fault that politicians dont represent the majority opinion, not the everyday people not getting invlolved or helping third parties.

Look around, THEY actually dont have any power over you, you can pretty much do whatever you want and chose the life you want.

The goverments that THEY control are actually mostly incapable of doing anything.

the THEY is actually YOU. YOUR DRIVES, YOUR WISHES and YOUR inner turmoils and angst's.

There really is no-one out to get you, No Alien race, no big government, no sky daddy.

You choose your life and what you make out of it, If you want to listen to others tell you everything about who you are and who is out to get you then fine. Just remember it is you doing that to yourself.

Ahh yes, It sure makes life simpler thinking that there is a THEY making your life shit so you dont accept personal responsibility or take any action to make this world a better place.

Sigh....humans.

Oh well..Whats on T.V?

This is an amazing analysis of the OP, from another board*:

People are conditioned to break anything and everything into at least 2 separate fields, preferably seemingly opposed.
In the OP that very trend develops; is it really a ‘THEY’ (or them)?, or is it not?, and it’s all part of a very well crafted and planned out bluff designed to drives us into submission without having to physically do it.
To sustain this last concept the OP looks for secondary factors to prop up its theory, so the finger comes out looking for somebody to lay the blame on. In this case is the old story of ‘refusing to accept personal responsibility’ being far easier to pass that blame to a boogie man (them-they-tptb) that really doesn’t exist.

The 2 alternatives are;

1- ‘They’ exist and they are to blame for everything,

OR;

2- ‘They’ don’t exist and we’re using ‘them’ as an excuse to NOT take responsibility for our actions and lives.

Both positions are flawed. Both are based from an egocentric (self-importance) starting point. Regardless that superficially might not look so.

The first view (1) expresses hopelessness, and although bends heavily towards passing on responsibility, this view is actually conceived from the ‘egocentric’ point of view of: self-pity.
Self-pity is a component of the monster we call ‘ego’, firmly attached to self-worth, and self importance.

The second view (2) indicates the other side of the same ‘ego’ coin. It empower us with the ability of taking control of our lives and destiny with the empty promise that all with have to do to achieve it is accepting the responsibility of our acts. Sounds good in paper but the ‘read between the lines’ actually says: self-centeredness, arrogance and self-importance.

A good reality check, leaves us once again with two alternatives (although you’re all invited to add more);

They DO exist, they have the upper hand, they have control of your life, and there’s very little you can do about it.

Or;

They do exist, they ‘think’ they have everything sitting on the palm of their hands mainly stemming from their uncontainable ’control freak’ tendencies and ego even bigger than that of all the ’sheeople’ put together. And this in turn easily translates as the achilles hill of any mortal allowing him/her self to indulge in over confidence.
Under such circumstances all people need to do is getting to grips with the fact that indeed they must reclaim control over their lives and fate, detaching themselves as much as they can of their self-importance and selfishness that so heavily weights them down to a stagnating state.
We need to familiarize ourselves with the long forgotten concepts of courage, commitment and sacrifice, and that it is really all we need to do, to get things moving in the right direction.

The question of course still remains, how many of us are actually willing to take the leap into maturity and leave this doomed to failure - childish behavior behind, for good.
