Walkabout Bar - Face Scanning

I went to a bar called Walkabout in Birmingham over the weekend and I noticed the bouncers have started to face scan people when they come through the door.

im waitin for the smoking bans to happen in all public places- so i can start excercising my right to have freedom of choice and smoke where i like!! im wondering how far they're gonna take it.... i think im being discriminated against as a smoker and discrimination in this country is against the law isnt it?? (it probably doesnt extend as far as smokers though!!)

You'd better toke on that smoke real fast, they'll be watching and they have those shouting cameras now to embarass you in a public place.

Story in our local Newspaper....You will be fined for dropping cigarette butts on the floor, they have portable ashtrays, a fire proof little pouch available, that will probably be added to the Council Tax.

I can't go half an hour without a smoke, I'll be in a lot of trouble when I go to Town. It's fair enough not being able to smoke in certian enclosed public areas, which forced the smokers out onto the streets in the first place.

Be fairer if they had big ashtrays outside. A local Pub came up with a good idea, they have little huts... with chairs, big ashtrays and candles at night in the beer garden.

lottie they can see through you're clothes and see you're butt at the airport, wonder if they have the same cameras in clubs! :O

I'd love to see them try enforcing a smoking ban at my local! There is live music there all the time - with about 100 people all toking on joints! Fuck em! :)
