Symbolism in video games?

I'm not sure how many of you play games on consoles or computers, but I was wondering if those of you who do ever notice any symbolism in them. I'd be curious to hear some examples! One game that I play on occasion, World of Warcraft, has millions of active participants. I wonder if the long arm of John Q. NWO has had any influence on games with such widespread popularity and planted their symbols in them.

I refuse to play WOW. I'm not going to spend 50$ on the games, and then pay 15$ per month to play them.


I play mostly the Battlefield Series from EA. i havent noticed any blatant symbolism, but i've been looking.
