Let's talk about Gandhi. He was a brilliant man, a super man of his time. Unfortunately, he walked everywhere, and so he developed hundreds of blisters/callouses on his feet. He fasted, and so he was as skinny and fragile, and his breath smelled terrible because of the lack of nutrients. Yet overall, he was the mystic of his time.
Basically, Gandhi was a super-calloused, fragile mystic, hexed with halitosis.
