Found this today, funny as. In parts in reminds me of anti-drug propaganda, and in others just plain and xtrememe bigotry and ignorance against other relgions and beleifs. People are amazing.

In the country where I live, like around 90% of it is Catholic, but some people still use "old rituals" and stuff, like, when you feel bad you can "clean" yourself spiritualy using herbs... so, would those people be considered hypocrites, I wonder?

What if a person has a God given gift? Psychic for example. They're aren't many real ones as most are charlatans but what if??? The RCC has taken a great step backwards with Ratzinger in particular.
RCC wants to glorify God and that OK but they use scare tactics. Very manipulating. Very controlling thus prideful.
I hate to say it as I was raised RCC and loved the Church but as I grew older I looked 'outside the box' and am very disappointed and no longer actively counselors but the Church overall is indeed infected with evil as it is run by man and man is a very frail creature spiritually.

Lol, they said it themselves! Of course they have to scare away people from any other possible sources of knowledge so they can fill up churches. God forbid we should take matters into our own hands and try to find the answers ourselves :rolleyes:

As if the methods used by the church are not occult!!! rituals and prayers, burning of incense, meditation, symbology, demonology, etc.
The only real difference is the name they call upon.
I think some people are like that because they need to feel secure and by believing they along are right they get that sense of self worth.

Interesting you mention that as I was talking to my GF about marrige being quite a hefty ritual. It's hidden in plain sight yet people accept it as a great thing.

Ritual is not actually an evil thing. A rite is an act of will and a ritual is nothing more than a collection of rites. If you stick your fingers up at somebody then that could be seen as a rite of banishment.
It is always the intent that is the deciding factor, what is it for, to help or to harm.
