Actually one of my favorite movies. Lots and lots and lots of symbolism. Highly recommended; it'll give you the good 'ol third eye squeegee, guranteed.

Yep, good ones :) I like Anime.
Very recommendable is also the Blood+ series and Full Metal Alchemist series.
And Ghost in the Shell... a goldmine of stuff in anime. Ghost in the Shell was the main inspiration for the Matrix.

Yes! I've seen a bit of that Blood+ Anime - They show it on a Saturday at 6.00pm (in Japan) which I think is a bit off. Its pretty gruesome and not really suitable for all ages.

In the US they at least showed Full Metal Alchemist in the evening. Neither Blood+ or Full Metal Alchemist is for children.
Princess Monoke or Spirited Away are though :) Good movies for the whole family, although I think some children might find them scary in some parts.

Oh gosh I love Hayao Miyazaki. All of his films are my favorites. I don't think I have any other movies that I like more than those ones. I have never looked for any symbolism in his movies yet though.

Touche. He is ingenious.
They aren't just artisticly beautiful, but teach very valuable life lessons. Princess Mononoke, especially, makes a lot of important symbolic points about the illuminati/freemason/NWO deal.
They aren't hard to find at all. Just "take a step back and look at it again".

These are both highly recommended Anime TV series from 2007. Both top notch and best I've seen in years.

I have begun watching the Death Note anime. Very clever and well thought through :) It reminds me a bit of the movie phonebooth. Not much action in it, its mostly the thriller suspense and conversations that makes it interesting. Began watching today, and almost halfway through :o
I will begin watching Claymore after I am done with this one.

Hmmm.. quite a bit more episodes to the Death Note serie than I thought to begin with, and two movies as well.
Also the idea or legend of shinigami interests me. A few years ago I visited New York on a study trip, and I actually met something that wasnt a ghost, but wasnt alive either. I have only seen ghosts of people I met before I died, and this being didnt seem like someone who had died or was lost. If it had ever been alive it must have been quite long ago with that outfit. It was around halloween so at first I thought it to be a custome, untill I noticed how two friends I was with couldnt see him.
He was wearing a dark robe and seemed to have greyish skin. Makes me wonder if we really have guides after we die or if its beings that helps ghosts that stays here. I know maybe most people dont believe in ghosts, but having seen at least three I think they do. Although I guess my imagination could be quite far off, I still dont see why I would make something like that up even unconciously. At least not the reaper like guy.
Other than that there is why could I see that wierd being if it really was what I think it was? Maybe because I have had near death experiences. Maybe I am psychic or something. I wish there was some way to investigate spirit planes somehow. Quite hard to confirm anything about it though even if I found anything about it though.
It is one of the things why I like animes though. They often go into these things, and give some good theories to add to my own. Although they probably only have tiny bits of truth in them if any, its still food for though. My experience tells me that even though there isnt any truth to it, the inspirition might lead to new ways of finding the real truth. With real magick and occult doings, imagination and visualisation seems the most important, although will and determination also seems to have a good part of it.
Sorry for rambling :o Sometimes I just need to put words to my thoughts, and I like to share them.

Death note is extremely thought-provoking. Haven't read much of it, but what I have seen is actually a pretty sinister portrayal of human nature.

Wasnt it a manga? Or was it a book?
I also like the Appleseed movies :) Computer animated, but follow the anime style and anime type stories.
I watched some of the Deathnote movies. They do seem to have put some effort into them, but I like the anime series better.

EDIT HUGE SPOILER ALERT IN THIS POST SPOILER SPOILER BEWARE SPOILER
Mononoke no Hime is a great movie and should be viewed by all. I have to say i cried a tiny winy when they shot the Dear God. All Ghibli movies are great.
I advise anyone who thinks a cartoon cannot touch a person deeply to watch Grave of the Fireflies. Even the most coldhearted person on this planet will cry his arse off watching that movie!
Thanks to Japan for anime! I love it! Dai suki desu yo!

Oww. One of the greates animes of all time is Full Metal Alchemist. Especially when your into conspiracies like us peoples on here!
Full Metal Alchemist shows exactly what is happening in this world today. How 2 sides are fighting each other while in reality a third party is behind it all. Its so freaking close to how us "conspiracynutters" view the world its unbelievable. Check it out now folks!!! I even got my nick from there!
