Brittania's new pet?

Has anyone checked out the image of Brittania(Semiramis) on the new £20 note?
Seems she's traded in the lion that accompanies her on the 50p for something a little more reptillian!

Look at the words: "The division of labour in pin manufacture". Why put this on a £20? How about putting something more impressive like Rutherford splitting the atom or De Haviland breaking the sound barrier? "No, we must commemorate our pins!"

Well if you change "pin" to "PIN" (Personal Identification Number) you have it. Also the new £20 has is made of a more plasticky paper, apparently so it can survive being left in a pocket when you wash your trousers. But it also has a hologram on it. In all: banknotes are becoming more like credit cards!

I've finally managed to scrape together enough of my left-over wages to own a £20 note! Yes, I can see something strange on the reverse. It seems to be a kind of intersection of lines that make up a sun disk. It's hanging over a picture of the Bank of England.

Yeah I hate getting these new notes, they creep me right out!!:eek: I get rid of them as quick as possible now! I'm sure they've got some sort of chip in them, hence the PIN reference... & all that symbology...:eek:
