Sure, just match it up to the bigfoot DNA they have in the database .

The "Georgia Bigfoot Body" story is a Hoax

The "Georgia Bigfoot Body" story is a hoax, started by two fellows in Georgia. The "body" is a widely available Halloween costume stuffed into a large cooler, with some animal entrails laid on top. This ongoing hoax is now being orchestrated by a notorious con-man named Carmine Thomas Biscardi.

?

if its bigfoot then it will have a DNA that has not been found before...

if its been found before then it will not be Bigfoots DNA, hence fake.

monkeys... humans ....so on..

They faked a bigfoot so why would they not fake it's DNA too?

It was a fake , one set of DNA came from a human and one set of DNA came from an opossum :

Another stupid hoax (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/16/us/16brfs-BIGFOOTREMAI_BRF.html?ref=us)

Morons ! I wonder if it was a deliberate hoax though , to ' muddy the waters ' so to speak.

my mate said he saw it in two UK papers... "The Metro" which is a popular free paper... and there was another mainstream paper he saw it in, so what ever it was they meant buisness...

...and if both samples came from the same animal, what does that tell you?
(btw the second sample was 96% opossum. Possums and oranges share almost that much DNA, don't they?)

They finally allowed investigators to view the body, and it was really just a costume.

http://www.mercurynews.com/breakingnews/ci_10246522

"Melting ice uncovered a hoax this week, as the "Bigfoot" found in a Georgia woods turned out to be . . . a rubber Halloween costume.

Bigfoot hunters Matt Whitton and Rick Dyer had tossed their find in a freezer and frozen it in a solid chunk of ice - to preserve it, they said. The two men finally turned over the freezer and on August 17, Bigfoot enthusiasts waited with bated breath as the apparent body slowly defrosted.

After hours of waiting, a dark patch of hair emerged. Steve Kulls, Executive Director of Squatchdetective.com, told Fox that he extracted a hair sample and burned it. It was apparently made of synthetic fibers and "melted into a ball uncharacteristic of hair," Kulls said. An hour later, the group's fears were confirmed when further melting revealed a rubber foot.

As of Tuesday, the two Georgia men who perpetrated the hoax were nowhere to be found. According to the Web site of Searching for Bigfoot, Inc, the organization plans to pursue legal action against the men."

"Last week's excitement over a supposed Bigfoot body, which culminated Friday in a circus-like press conference in Palo Alto, Calif., collapsed like a wet soufflé Sunday as an independent investigator determined it was all fake.

SearchingforBigfoot.com owner Tom Biscardi had paid an "undisclosed sum" — Internet rumors put it at $50,000 — to Georgia residents Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer for their frozen "corpse" and the privilege of trotting them, but not the body, out in front of TV cameras."

I don't know what these guys have or had. But, I have to ask myself: What
would happen if someone really did find a bigfoot body?

In my opinion it would be pretty much exactly what happened in this case.
In other words, it would be debunked all to hell and everyone involved would
be discredited so that the public would think they were lying assholes.

But, that's just how us crazy conspiracy theorists think. :)

We live on a planet where everything is 'all smoke and mirrors' and truth is a rare commodity now, so who can ever say for sure who is scamming who and who is telling the truth about anything now? So many agendas!

We live in manically chaotic times......and the pace is accelerating all the time.....like they say, strap yourself in good and tight folks - this already bumpy ride is about to get even bumpier.

this is how I allways think... most people ( a few on here) as so concerned about being "played" and dont like the feeling of being tricked that they never belive any of this stuff...

I kind of feel the same so I doint really make my mind up, I simply allways keep my belife system open to these thiroies..

In this case it very much apears that there have been a couple guys debunked...

But I also still find it odd that it would take for the press to hang on to it, and for them to make such bold claims like they have DNA... all for it to be such a simple hoax...

I am open either way, but like you say, I do not trust this stuff to really see the light of day anyway.. perticualy if its discovery would lead to to many other questions about its existence.

We have found this out via news and press, and we have found out it is debunked via other new and press, none of the reports are and more or less valid than the rest... in fact we have no evidence that people claimed this at all...

I have to learn to trust my ability at reading faces more... I knew that X-cop was lying at the press conference...That nervous smile just oozed "I'm talking complete bullshit & I can't believe I'm actually standing here saying this!"

Wankers!

They should both be tied to the back of a bigfoot monster truck & dragged around the world for people to throw rotten tomatoes at them:p

Yes, I find that strange too.
